social security no. is for the US...NIN is for nigeria... ur there blaiming govt.. inshort ..it even in this govt.. that a lot of focus is being put on NIN and even BVN .. the average nigerian doesnt want to regsiter for the NIN not to talk of linking it to his/her sim.. is that govt fault.. our mentality is the reason y govt have to bring in force to get the little things done..look at the time of bvn.. if there wernt threat to block accounts ..u think nigerians will care.. inshort b4 nigerians take this NIN seriously gov. has to block millions of sim cards otherwise we wont do it.. whereas in the saner climate. people understand the importance and even present themselves willingly to get registered 9japride: Credit card system is very good and it discourages fraud. But those wicked entities in the corridors of power who love to see people suffer won't allow it to work. They don't want the common man to measure shoulder with them. For example with a credit facility anyone can get latest phone, car etc. In addition, we need to develop our social security number system. But due to mischievous ways of those in power, they won't allow it to work. If done properly the security situation will be reduced more than 50%. Those in power know exactly what they are doing, they all travel out and see how things are done in other countries. To me, its just pure black man wickedness and nonsense attitude. It pains me a lot that with all the wealth in the country, people can't just enjoy it fully but just a few numbers of privilege one's that are enjoying the goodies meant for everyone. |

if u had a better way of reasoning ..u would have realised that the rails are being built in sections and each sections are built with loans that have to be apporved by NASS.. the first phase which is abuja to kaduna was approved by NASS b4 it started and got completed.. the second which is lagos to ibadan and itakpe to warri.. were also built with loans approved by NASS.. th recently approved loans are for kano to maradi.. and modernisation of lagos to ibadan and extension to tin can island for better cargo evacuation.. and like the previous rails.. u will soon see construction commence and get completed... also expect NASS to approve more loans for ibadan to ilorin rail..and ilorin to abuja.. the same for itakpe to abuja etc Agboriotejoye: Which rail? How many times wil loans be sought for rails? NASS approves anything. Especially this present NASS aka rubberstamp |

the recently approved loans already have what they are budgeted for.. most of the funds are going to railways..i dont think NASS Approves funds dat dont have an intended use. Agboriotejoye: Which of it is personal opinion? Is it personal opinion that NNPC declared 200bn profit after being commercialized and out of which 30% will go into frontier basin exploration? Is it personal opinion that same NNPC that declared 200bn profit is now using 600bn to fix roads Is it personal opinion that Niger state governor claimed he secured a loan to fix Bida-Minna and same road is part of those to be fixed by NNPC Is it personal opinion that Agaie Katcha Baro road has been completed up to Katcha and the remaining 18km has been awarded twice and is also part of the 600bn largesse" Is it personal opinion that the Ibadan Ilorin road is already being worked on and almost completed? Here is my personal opinion since you are asking. The NNPC has become a piggybank to move slush funds under the guise of interventions. Reason am na. You have been running a company at a loss for 44 years. First year it makes N1000 profit, you want to burden it with a liability thrice the profit it has managed to make in its 44 years existence. How exactly does that make sense to you? Are you killing the business or making it stronger? Where is the extra money coming from suddenly? The loans that are being collected on my behalf and yours by FG. What are they being used for that NNPC is being asked to cough out 600bn to fix roads. FG just got approval for over $4bn loan. Why can't that be used for the roads? Think man!! Think |

since this is a stable currency (sort of) like ur usdt and the likes they should just integrate it with luno, binance and other crypto apps to facilitate p2p transactions.. since the banks already support it .. it will be a faster and easier way to convert ur cryptos to enaira and spend instead of doing p2p that is prone to scams and looking for someone to buy ur crypto
not withstanding i dont see y dey require ur name in the way used to register on ur bvn.. the bvn or nin should be enough den they just send otp to the no. linked to it..finish .. not all this unnecessary complications |

In this state and level of infrastructural decay...every one has to come together to clear that gap...look NNPC isn't technically building it...the road construction is still being managed by the ministry of works...NNPC will only provide the fundings using the tax credit scheme... Yes NNPC also pays tax.... It not the job of MTN to build roads in Nigeria.. They should be focuses on improved telecom..and Internet... Today they want to build Enugu Onitsha road.. Dangote shouldnt have any business building roads either... But he has constructed the longest concrete road in west Africa.. Obajana kabba road..and now building apapa oworonshoki express road... Glo also don't have business with roads...today they are negotiating on how they can fund the construction of ota roads.. Access bank built roads in VI, Lagos.... U need to understand that the issue has gone beyond responsiblity cuz Fg who should be responsible can't do it all..so they have to create every avenue to get this critical infrastructure done.. egoldman: Please someone should correct me, is it the job of NNPC to construct federal or state roads? Have they finished with the petroleum business or is there somewhere in the act that established NNPC where it states out that part of its function is to construct or rehabilitate roads? |

Many of those roads have already been awarded..Enugu to Onitsha will be built by MTN , hope uzodinma awarded contracts to craneburg to build owerri okigwe road and owerri orlu..Enugu portharcourt road is underconstruction especially the aba to portharcourt section which is almost completed by a Chinese company... Arab contractors is working on some sections too in enugu Aba ikot ekpene road and umuahia ikot ekpene are equally horrible roads DAT hasn't seen any contract from the gov. It only fair if nnpc takes this ones...at least that will reduce the no. Of bad roads In that horrible state called..leaving only Onitsha owerri road.. Onitsha owerri sef is still manageable compared to aba ikot ekpene thatigboman1: So these people didn't see dilapidated enugu-port harcourt expressway, enugu-onitsha, onitsha-owerri Rd, okigwe-nnewi Rd that is a no go area, okigwe-owerri Rd, okigwe-isukwuato Rd. All d dilapidated, killer roads in SE, it's only the 2 roads in abia state that lead to ikot ekpene, akwaibom state that they will fix. Mad people. |

Anything buiness DAT is not allowed to follow the law of demand and supply will eventually fail... Refineries are sophisticated piece of infrastructure DAT are established for business.. Because of subsidies the refineries couldn't make profit in order to maintain itself and improve it longevity ...it became a burden on government.. And it died slowing until NNPC admitted it uselessness hence it shut down... Look at there are two sectors receiving subsidies instead of allow them to thrived independently.. It power and petroleum.. And u will agree with me that they are the only stagnant sectors DAT has reduced our growth as a country... There is no way a business will be running at a loss and u expect it to last...ur only choking it till it eventually dies...that is what killed the refineries.. The same thing for power.. emmnprince: Yes. GoodLuck had no concrete plan for local substitution.

It doesn't matter if it is foreign owned or government owned ..the pure fact is DAT it is produced in Nigeria... I don't know how u relate pencil production of car assembly.. The raw and major materials for pencil production is wood..akwa ibom and Cross river have it in abundance.. Even the car assembly ur talking about.. There is No car maker today that exclusively makes all the parts needed in their vehicles ..many of dem have to imports ready made parts to be assembled into their cars.. Hmmmm ...true McStoic: You may be right about Edo not being part of Biafra. But are you gonna wish away the old Eastern Region which comprised of many Igbo speaking parts that were unjustly ceded to other states in the south south just to reduce the number and influence of Igbos in the event of any future clamour for Biafran Republic like we are having now? Places like Egbema LGA, Andoni, Etche etc are all Igbo land but were ceded away from old Imo state. Some parts of Delta State likewise, Cross River etc and it continues in other non core Igbo states surrounding the South East.
The fact remains that there are many people from Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Benue states etc who were not only part of the old Biafra but also had their kinsmen fight on the side of Biafra and lost their lives in the war. Hate it or like it, many of them still see themselves as part and parcel of Biafra. The memory of their lost loved ones is still on. So, it will be unjust to wish away that cos you don't like Biafra exceeding the 5 core Igbo states. I say let the fG conduct a referendum in the old Eastern region as a whole, let everyone choose the future they want.
Let's not try and be emotional here my guy. It is what it is! |
