Funny enough... Even if crude oil jumbs to $140 ...we will still have to add trillions in order to subsidize fuel.. anorexicmuster: |
The railway will have a significant impact once completed and all the cargo that usually ply the roads noe use the rail from apapa all the way to kano and maradi... You don't understand how badly we need our refineries back if not u won't type that nonsense and post Fiscus105: |
I travel quite often and I must say there isnt any time am one the road this problem of motion sickness seems to spare me.. My last trip on the road for over 15hrs was the worst as I encountered the worst symptoms of motion sickness.. I became nauseous 3 min before starting the trip and also vomited barely 2hrs to the entire journey... I believe am not the only one in this dilemma.. So how do u guys help prevent and control motion sickness while travelling or using any means of transport.. And what necessary measure do you take before, during and after a long trip by road most especially

They are all equally condemned.. It just DAT u turn blind eye towards those reports Newton2024: |

So since tanks have being moved to Ibadan...where did u see it being used live in Ibadan... Hope u can tell the differences between a tank and an armored fighting vehicle (APC) or MRAP..cuz am pretty sure MRAPS or APC were moved but many Nigerians still refer to them as tanks (probably out of ignorance).... Now to the issue here..the army can't deploy it equipment let say from it major depot at ojo, Lagos to let say the NE All at once..it common sense... So they do it from base to base...probably from ojo barrack or the Lagos to port to the barrack at Ibadan... Den it begins another movement to another base until it reaches it destination in the NE, NW or anywhere else... This how it done worldwide.. Even the brand new a 29 super tucano that the airforce received were flown from the US to multiple airports in different countries before landing in kano.. Even if alaafin or the governor not to talk of so called maliafa should die...why should that have any impact on how the army choose to move it equipment.... After all the movement isn't the issue but where it will used...so question.. Where did u see it being used in Ibadan...in short since 1914 when have battle tanks been used in Ibadan.. And even if it was deployed to ibadan...is DAT a crime or what with ur guilty conscience..or ur saying army can't move it own equipments to it own base again..or what.. Nigerians are too sentimental over simple things that are not even issues in the first place Crossroad1: |
oga, the reason am replying non challantly is because whatever argument you put up is not making any sense.. Maliafa said some things and in the space of some days, he died.. Tanks were moved to ibadan not through ibadan. Things have been happening under this useless administration especially underground..
|
How has igboho being from Ibadan brought security issues there..and how should that affect the army moving it equipment within it own boundaries and country..please..just scroll if u have nothing sensible to post... Crossroad1: |
The terrorist in the NE or bandits in the NW ..are they external aggressors...if ur ideology is correct..then police should be the only force fighting terrorist then....use ur head..the military can intervene in any security issue that local police can't handle.... mandax: |
The tanks are most likely the ones called vt 4 currently being delivered from China through the Lagos port...it possible they moving them from states to state until it ends up in the NE...u don't have to be pessimistic... There is nothing Ibadan that warrants the deployment of soldiers not to talk of tanks. Crossroad1: |
Propaganda.. When did sanusi build mosques as CBN governor or married multiple wives... See ..employ cognitive reasoning in analysing issues rather than sentiment and prejudice baylrc4real: |
We have epileptic power supply simply because the power sector is also being subsidized.... See get this... Anything being subsidized can never grow no matter what.. Subsidies should be removed and the market should obey the law of demand and supply IMAliyu: |

U comparing a commercial aircraft to an ISR plane shows ur completely ignorant of what ISR is about and the equipments involved... Am not insulting u...so don't take it personal... But u need to first understand what ISR planes are and then what military thermal imaging and electro optic targeting systems.or military sensor balls are.... Peace chloride6: |
How does speed affect detection... Hope u are aware Nigeria airforce now have sophisticated drones like the winglong ll , CH 4 and CH 3 drones..which can silently fly thousands of meters high and conduct ISR missions with high resolution optical imaging system....both day and night. The drones are too high tobe sighted and targets will never hear them why they silently monitor them.. chloride6: |
It possible... Women do often put on long hijab which will be glaring using infrared optical cameras or sensor balls chloride6: |
They never said so Authoreety: |
It not enough to have oil...the quantity produced and the number of oil companies is most important...ondo's crude oil reserve is almost insignificant compared to states like delta ,rivers and akwa ibom... 2nd largest bitumen deposits but how many companies are actually mining it...are dey even exporting it..does it contributes to it GDP as a state..sometime ago Nigeria used to import bitumen for road construction...how much vat can u generate from cocoa..remember... Ondo states needs to generate vat of about 500 million dollars per annum about 207 bn naira to fund it yearly budget... I honestly don't think ondo has what it takes to do that today...in short rivers state with all it resources generates an average of 90bn...which isnt enough to fund ondo recurrent expenditure.... The fact is every states have viable resources but it takes decades to fully develop those resources and attract huge investment before thinking of recouping VAT from it..this is something rivers and Lagos state have done years ago ...today it harvesting it fruits...so don't be deluded about untapped and underdeveloped resources.. collins07: |
U are the one being deceived... What the government (FIRS) Has been collecting from state is what state will. Still collect... Lagos rivers and abuja generate more than 65% of the total VAT in the country ....d rest of the 34 state...will struggle to survive with just 35%.... Think am joking... Check this out.. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/09/vat-what-states-generated-received-in-past-8-months/amp/ NetValueFX: |
They are not daft...that will be the only choice for them to survive...once FG allocation stops..many states will begin to copy the western style of taxation.. Meaning that many businesses will fold up and probably relocate to Lagos and rivers state as they will most likely be the only states to take things because they have sufficient money and don't need to put businesses under pressure... Click on the link and educate urself https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/09/vat-what-states-generated-received-in-past-8-months/amp/ Lastanza: |
But they don't borrow to pay salaries ![]() Ayomi90: |
They cannot.... The major contributor to VAT that FIRS Lagos and rivers state..Inshort Lagos contributes 55% alone.....every other states are just parasites that eat from it...once state begin collecting their own.only Lagos and rivers will have bigger share which over 60% of total VAT In the country...the rest of the other States won't be able to collect sufficient amount cuz their economy isn't as vibrant as rivers and Lagos. Alright cool ..so the tracks can handle such speed...but can the trains move at such speed.. . I have watched a video when popular youtuber wide Maya was on the abuja Kaduna train and questioned the Chinese train drivers..the reply he got is that once the tracks is protected from cows and all that..the operating speed will be about 120km/hr.. I have watched another video that advertised the train maximum speed capacity to be around 120km/hr... It been long I watched these videos so I can't provide links...u should be able to confirmbdat of wide Maya by going to his channel. Which is true cuz it a diesel electric locomotive train... And the average speed is pegged around 150km/hr.... So it cool the tracks can handle higher speed trains but can the trains go High speed? .the answer is no... Maybe you should google search the model of locomotive Nigeria is using and their maximum speed capacity... Reflect7: |
First of all let me remind you that the standard gauge built in Nigeria has a maximum capacity of 150km/hr... And that a fact proven with a quick search on google.. Secondly the operating speed is going to be around 120km..cuz realistically speaking no one runs a product at maximum capacity except you want to shorten it lifespan... Lastly.. Looking at this era of railway and train development where we now have trains exhiding 400km/hr and still regarded as high speed train... I don't think it makes sense to refer to a 120km train as high speed.. Besides according to railway technology.... There is a separate track made and modified for high speed train...the SDG are not one of them..therefore what we have in Nigeria isn't high speed train...another fact is dat no country builds high-speed tracks for cargo and containers movement ..or have to seen a train carrying containers moving above 120km/hr even in movies.... The tracks in Nigeria are for both passenger and cargo so they could never support Highspeed /bullet trains Am not trying to be cynical like the average Nigerian is especially to anything relating to bujari but the truth should be spoken.. Reflect7: |
That was an exaggeration ...the point is train break down all-around the globe.... In Nigeria it not more than 4 times since abuja Kaduna line began in 2016.. Lagos Ibadan railway trains have never broken down jazzyking: |
It 100% working.. Visit the warri station by 8am u will see a train going to kogi state(ajaokuta and itakpe ) Jungleluv5: |
Oga....Lagos Ibadan, abuja Kaduna and warri itakpe are all standard gauge lines... And please stop lying u have not worked on any of them SUFFERInSMILIIN: |
Thank u for ur contribution.. How about automation (PLC) training SonofGod231: |
