Texas.Cowgirl:The struggle to sound sarcastic.Unfortunately your attempts are so feeble they're ludicrous.Friendly advice, refrain from intelligent debates or your arguments will be torn to shreds..just saying. |
50calibre: This goes to show that east or west, home is best. After gallivanting with white men she finally regains sense to see that a brother is irreplaceable.Real talk! |
Texas.Cowgirl:Your argument is useless. What if scientists come up tomorrow with a claim that spinach cures cancer?I'm sure you'd be singing their praises to the high heavens. The first effective treatment against malaria came from the bark of Cinchona tree which contains quinine. The next effective treatment was also derived from a plant popularly known as sweet wormwood (biologically known as Artemisia Annua). So again I reiterate, your argument is invalid. |
Rossikk: For a developing nation that's just 50 years old, I think we've EXCEEDED expectations.NO!Mr Rossikk,I admire your sense of patriotism but to say we've 'exceeded expectations'.C'mon bruv that's stretching it.We're getting there sounds more like it. |
I don't see a problem here,two consensual adults enjoying each other's company.It's all good. |
She is beautiful but a little too thin i might add |
pheyikemi: U mean u want a debate, u r OYO. If u couldn't deduce an answer to ur questn frm my reply, then I fink u r a potential linda. Y nt try wot he did in ur locality/neighbourhood, let pple c u, then u'll get a persuasive response wen pple beat d hell outta u.In order words you can't answer the question or you don't know the answer to the question. In fact, you don't even know why it is wrong. You just think it is because everyone else think it is. Typical Naija mentality |
changeagent: you don't legally evade tax,you only avoid tax legally and it is punishable. Tax evasion is a crime.Yeah i concur.I was only trying to drive home a point but I get the drift |
pheyikemi: Aii then, as a 6yr-old lemme ask u ds questn, weneva u r in d mood to sleep or meditate abt smfn, do u sleep in a coffin b4 u do dat?. If no,then evryfn is wrong wiv sleepin/meditatin in a coffin. How does this answer the question.Let me reiterate, what exactly is wrong with sleeping/meditating in a coffin. This time I would prefer a cogent, persuasive argument.Thank you |
cap28: I'm glad you referred to it as campaign rhetoric - what you campaign on before you get into office and what you actually do when you are in office are two very different things - has Obama deliverd on any of his promises to close tax loopholes for the rich? i think you will find that the answer is a resounding no. Lying to the public does not equate to "coming level with them"I'm sure you followed the whole fiscal cliff brouhaha and how the POTUS refused to shift ground until the GOP made concessions. With extremists like Republicans how can you ever get anything done when the standard answer to anything is 'No'!Even gun control! I am not in support of tax loopholes for the rich.I wonder how you deduced that from my comments.I'm just stating the facts as they are.Lying maybe morally wrong but in most cases is not a crime.Adultery is morally wrong but is not a crime and so on & so forth.I am a 99 percenter who would like and continue to advocate a total overhaul of the system. But it is what it is..albeit pathetic |
Can someone please explain to me like i'm a 6 yr old. What exactly is wrong with sleeping/meditating in a coffin? |
cap28: The multi millionaire owner of BHS (british home stores) Philip Green evaded tax to the tune of £1billion while a british worker earning more than £32K pays 40% of their income in tax - sounds pretty fair doesnt it?Now you're being disingenuous. That was his campaign rhetoric. He ran on closing tax loopholes for the rich, ending the Bush tax cuts and giving everyone a fair shake. And he won. Please always come level with the public. The large corporations and super-pacs like the Koch brothers were all for Romney. As for Philip Green,Barclays and co. I reiterate,if it's not illegal it is not a crime. We might look at the morals of it & agree it's definitely not fair but life isn't fair anyways |
Jonathan and co supplicating to an imaginary friend & we wonder why the black man still remains on the lower rungs of the ladder. Two hands working together, are miles productive than a million hands clasped in prayer. End of! |
masonkz: Power over death...meaning you won't die right? OkLol..my thoughts exactly. Everybody wan go heaven but nobody wan die |
Tonto doing her own thang. But then again...
|
cap28: A loophole indicates that something is wrong - the rich shouldnt be allowed to profit from gaps in the law - especially when they can afford to pay tax.If it is legal then it cannot be a crime. Obama has been struggling to close such loopholes and end the Bush Tax cuts but the GOP won't let him. So there you go |
cap28: It still shouldnt be breaking newsThey legally evade tax through tax loopholes & Tax deductions such as executive stock options. Anyways, I'm a big fan of WS & i'm glad he's out |
Akpan107: The most painful death is to die without accepting Christ Jesus as ur Saviour... There will be no RIP to that kind of person. Now is the time to give ur life to Christ!Yeah, yeah! You couldn't resist the urge to throw that in,could you?Mtcheeew!Long hissss |
sheyie2007: don't let the tribal e-war on NL fool you, we're just having fun here.. one love!I've been around long enough to know that.Just saying |
Can you tribal mofos just channel all these energy to tackle the issue at hand?I.e putting xenophobic south Africans where they rightly belong.Funny thing is when Nigerians meet outside the shores of Nigeria we don't see no Igbos,Yorubas or any other tribe for that matter. We just coalesce as Nigerians.Ironic... |
It is the 'get rich quick' syndrome & at any cost that pushes most Nigerians to indulge in all forms of illicit businesses. Patience is not a virtue on this side of the divide. Our so called leaders & politicians loot the treasury with reckless abandon. Pastors rip their congregation blind. And the sermon 9 times out of 10 is always about money. There's really no one to look up to or emulate. So everybody just carries on doing as they please. When the head is rotten there's really not much the rest of the body can do True story... |
JstBrave: Awesome God!!! i passed thru dt same road (Benin-Ore expressway) on Thur. I almost postponed my travellin to d following day (d day d incident happened). I wud av bin among d victims. God, I return all d Glory 2u!So this Sunday your testimony would go something like this 'i almost put off my journey till Friday but the omnipotent God who sees everything compelled me to travel the day before. And on that fateful Friday there was a ghastly accident involving several trucks and a luxury bus and close to a 100 people were burnt to death but the ancient of days, the merciful God saved my life. Praaaaaiiiisssseeee tha Lawd! With a recurring echo..'Hallllleeeellluuyaaa! Vigorously smdh! ![]() |

A German study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, concludes that staring at women's breasts for a few minutes daily is better for your health than going to the gym. "Just 10 minutes of looking at the charms of well-endowed females is equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out," said author Dr Karen Weatherby, an expert on ageing. The research team, led by Dr Weatherby, spent five years monitoring the effects of this unique discovery. The men who were told to stare at bosoms daily had lower blood pressure and slower resting pulse rates and also decreased their risk of coronary artery disease. Dr Weatherby explained: "Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation. "There's no question - gazing at large breasts makes men healthier." She also recommends that men over 40 should spend at least 10 minutes daily admiring breasts sized D-cup or larger. http://m.naij.com/news/30055.html |
simpledude: Why would those so-called ogas not attempt to reach a truce with you when you have been busy mudslingling the Bank that they have struggled through the years to build. At least if everybody has been talking thrash to you , you know the truth in your heart of hearts. It was so clear even from your orginal post that you were only seeking to reap where you did not sow .Can you just STFU and stop spewing fuckery! It is idiotas like you that have made people tar everyone working at GTB with the same brush even though we know there are some really nice people over there. The bloke has made it unequivocally, abundantly & categorically clear nothing of the sort happened you're still here swearing for your immediate family whilst the issue is being sorted. Nonsense! |
So much for amnesty A huge explosion hit northwest Nigeria's Kano State on Thursday night, police said, adding no death or injury was caused. A bomb exploded along Dangi roundabout by Zoo Road, causing pandemonium among the people of the area. Bomb detectives have arrived the scene of the blast. A Xinhua reporter in the restive state said the bomb detectives of the Nigeria Police combed the area to ensure there was no leftover of the improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The reporter said the explosion was followed by sporadic shooting in the area. Security personnel have condoned off the area as people are running helter skelter for their safety. Residents in the nearby area of the explosion remain indoors for fear of being caught at the crossfire. Spokesman of the joint military task force (JTF) Captain Ikedichi Iweha confirmed the explosion, adding no injury or death resulted from the explosion. http://beegeagle./2013/04/05/huge-explosion-hits-kano-no-casualties-recorded/

@op you're such a sissy. Whining, crying, depressed and all. Gosh! This is exactly the reason why they continually rub it in cuz they know your weakness. You've got to develop a thick skin & a devil may care attitude. Put this experiment to the test,at least till the end of this year. It works like magic. Writing from experience. |
^^@oga me for you that won't be necessary. There's definitely more than one Modupe working for GTBank. However,i'd urge the op to refrain from divulging her full names as he is being egged on by some posters. @op,don't forget to let us in on how it all went down eventually. Maybe their ratings might just go up a notch IMO. |
Yeah, yeah i can see the GTB apologists have stormed the thread in their droves & have begun to put a spin on the story in a desperate bid to paint the op in bad light in order to hang him. Yes,we all believe in hearing both sides of the story but i'll take the op's side first against GTB until i'm proved otherwise. Cuz GTB's ratings has dropped considerably,as a matter of fact,to an all time low.And i believe i speak for many out there |
Whichever way you slice & dice it'Tonto Dikeh is beautiful.End of story! |
Hmmm....it's about to get ugly |
