tosyne2much: ![]() Oga Sir. Can't you help me out by suggesting or referring someone like that to me? ![]() |
Chi59:Of course. I cannot be demanding for what I cannot give. You seem to be a perfectionist, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing. But then, relationships are not business deals, the idea of leaving no room for errors is not the right mindset. No human being is perfect.Yes. That’s exactly the word! I am a perfectionist. I know no human being is perfect but I believe we can always keep trying to get better, or don’t you think so? When choosing your business partner, like every astute business person will tell you, it is NEVER done anyhow. You have to be very careful in choosing your partner because one wrong move might ruin the whole business… in a jiffy! My idea of a healthy relationship is a (business) partnership where all the partners find themselves in a win-win situation. You give; and you take. I give; I take. You cannot just be a taker alone… or a giver only. It doesn’t just work with me. There must be a balance! I believe you are aware of the fact that you aren't perfect. Hence you know you aren't, it will be reasonable to give room to flaws and errors from her, as much as you tolerate such from yourself. You’re right. But the problem is, how much room for errors am I willing and/or ready to tolerate? Intelligence is not all there is to a relationship. You will need to blend that with certain values and virtues like love, tolerance and others.Ummm... well, you have a point there but sadly, intelligence ranks topmost in my list of what I want in my partner. Maybe, I didn’t mention it, but I do want intelligent kids also. I don’t know if you’ve ever come across the report that intelligence in children is even transferred from the mother ? To tell you the truth, I don’t know how true that report is but I am wholly biased towards it. Men like me; we cannot be mesmerized by love. Or by sex. You really need to bring something more… If I see that you have lots and lots of potential as in most of these things I really want in a woman, hmmm… I tell you, I can love you and love you and love you and continue to love only you till you start begging me not to kill you with love. ![]() I hope you find someone who can share your burdens, joys and pains, just as much as you would share hers.I hope so too. For me, it’s not about burdens nor pains. I’m all about joy. But… like I presume you already know by now… there's always a price tag! ![]() |
I'm not interested in their squabbles. I'm more focused on how man city will roast Liverpool alive in just a matter of a few hours from now... |
Chi59:Good answer. You can't just accept to date who you don't know just like that unless you're... so desperate. ![]() Now, to the yardstick as a measure of intelligence you mentioned, I am a very picky guy so you should know the yardstick is gonna be very long. Here, take a peek. Intelligence means different things to different people but to me, intelligence/smartness can be broken down into 'book smart' and 'street smart'. So starting with 'book smart', I'll like to know her educational level and her performance in school with reference to her school grades. Furthermore, her mastery of English language is also a thing of great concern. For me, it doesn't just end with speaking good English or even all these funny brands of American and British 'pho-ne' most of you girls of nowadays can easily identify with, her ability to write well in English is also a factor to be considered. A simple thing as writing "Am going to school..." instead of the correct form which is "I am going to school..." is enough to tell me what I am dealing with. ![]() Then let's move on to the nitty-gritty which is 'street smart'. Yes. 'Street smart' is all about being wise and having common sense. So I will like to know how wise she really is. How do you relate with people? Are you the troublesome type? How do you use words? Are you the type of person that is always running your mouth? Are you the type of person who can't keep secrets? Are you the type of person who says mean, hurtful or wicked things about others... most especially behind their backs? What places have you been to? And what books have you read? In other words, what are the important life experiences you've garnered so far? Furthermore... What's your ambition in life? What skills do you have? And how could such skill or skills be profitable to other people? What million dollar idea do you have? Being an idea person myself, you'll understand why this very one is a very big issue. How do you handle money? Are you the wasteful type who spends money like it grows on trees? How does your problem solving capacity look like? How do you view men and relationships? Do you see men as a means of survival and nothing else? In fact, what's your reason/s for wanting to be in a relationship? Do you seriously believe all a man wants from you is sex? Your level of awareness of the things going around you is what I am always looking out for. Who's your role model and why? How politically aware are you? How many Nigerian and foreign languages can you speak? The list goes on and on... So, you see, when men like me want to get into a serious relationship, we normally view and approach such relationships almost like a business deal with little or no room for error so I will always like to know what I am getting myself into. Truth be told, when men like me ask you what do you bring to the table, you better be prepared. Hope you can now see why I told you it's a tough job...? |
That 504 Peugeot eh... My favorite till thy kingdom come! |
AntiBrutus:Anti B, trust me, you have nothing to worry about. Once you have big, handy and user friendly soft _boobs coupled with equally big, handy and user friendly soft _booty, then you're good to go. ![]() Thanks for the birthday wishes. |
Rozaytee:Yeah... for real. ben1daEbiri:Point of correction Sir, my moniker reads COLDFEETS. ![]() Now, I can help this country to overcome its woes as you stated but problem is, I can't do that alone by myself. We need all hands on deck to do just that. And one more thing, thanks so much for that Einstein reference. I'm so flattered. It's a huge compliment pour moi. ![]() buske:The question is: what do you understand by the term 'intellectually challenging'? To me, to be intellectually challenging doesn't in any way mean to be doing I-Too-Know. In fact, once I discover that you are an ITK kind of person, I'm hitting the delete button. It's only those who lack wisdom that will be fond of claiming superiority over nothing. A wise person knows how to hide or tone down his or her own intellectual might while silently observing and closely watching his or her "opponent/s" so as to learn more things from the other person. I like to argue, I love a good debate, I like to pick up facts, I don't like stereotypes 'cause I am open minded, I love historical facts, I love math and logic, I love science and tech, etc. And God knows, I will definitely like to have a wife who has interest in such things too and can make useful and meaningful contributions where and when necessary on such matters and not really someone who wants to use every little opportunity she gets to make me prove my superiority as a man because she wants me to see her as challenging. Tufiakwa. God forbid. ![]() Take it from me, any woman who thinks that being unnecessarily obstinate which might often lead to quarrels is synonymous with being intellectually challenging has not yet started... |
Turantula:So you're now like the spokesman of Jesus abi? ![]() |
AntiBrutus:Well... of course, I'm older but I don't think I am expecting so much from the girls... Well, that's a lie. I do expect a lot from them. Problem is, I won't even let you know what I am expecting of you. I will just be silently observing you and ticking my check boxes where necessary. ![]() |
Of course, it's Sai Baba till 2023 in Jesus name! Say Amen!!! |
AntiBrutus:Why do you ask? |
I just dey wonder wetin she wan sell now... ![]() |
scarramenga:What were you expecting before? |
Chi59:Interesting... Would you like to date me? |
You have a point there. As for me, the main reason why I am yet to marry is because I haven't seen or found a girl so interesting enough. Most girls I know are so intellectually below me. My above average IQ is the problem here... Some friends advised me to just accept the girl and then begin to train her. And I'm like... na me be her mama and papa wey suppose train her since tay tay...? Maybe na baby mama me I go do finally finally because as for me, living in a house with someone who cannot challenge you intellectually all in the name of marriage is the shortest cut to suicide. |
PapaBrowne:. Stop lying. The only reason why you don't buy newspapers is because you don't have the money, simple. As for me, I don't have to buy newspapers because I have nairaland and glo data. It's as simple as that. ![]() |
It's a thing of the mind. Assuming someone was buried there but there's nothing to show it's a grave, you'll surely and safely move in there one time! Well... that said, I myself, I won't be moving into that place. Abeg, I am so superstitious and I am so much afraid of ghosts and haunted houses. Besides, house never finish for dis we country for me to be left with the only option of moving into a graveyard. A haha haha. Now you're confused and I love that. ![]() |
Even those who don't know a _shit about stock markets are talking _shit now. I'm so sorry for all you wailers and the sad life you guys live owing to the fact that Baba has kept on moving forward against all odds and despite all your evil wishes. I have one more sad news for y'all. Are y'all listening...? Alright... here it is. It's Sai Baba till 2023. Ka chineke mezie okwu a n'aha okpara nwa ya bu Jisos. ![]() |
Just negodu Galatasaray. |
iSage:You still haven't mentioned any specific topic or topics. ![]() |
Joshua telling them the bitter truth! There's really nothing out there that must be worshipped or feared. It's all inside. This goes to show that AJ has above average IQ. Most believers have below average IQ. That is to say, most believers are dumb. |
iSage:Okay can you suggest the type of topics that add value to people's lives that the mods should be pushing? |
Na wa o! Me, I neva even reach 23 years! ![]() |
JackBaueress1:Who cares whether you campaign for him or not? The truth be say: It's Sai Baba till 2023 |
What a joker this guy is! |

Ha ha ha Umu igbo anyi a na-alakwanu nwoke ibe fa n'ike. Alu emeeee! |
O men! So many dumb, foolish and unproductive people in this country... |
decatalyst:When you come to learn more about human nature, you will discover one shocking thing. And that shocking thing is this: MOST PEOPLE ARE PRETENDERS. They will say one thing and condemn some other thing in the public but when you see them in their real self and behind closed doors, just prepare to be shocked when you see them doing the opposite of what they preach in the public. |
Ewebuoy:Like I told you earlier, e dey happen like that sometimes... The day e first happen to me eh, I really really panicked. I even thought of rushing off to the bank to block my card but since I know say the money wey dey that particular bank account no too get head sef, I say make I just relax dey observe. I con dey wait make I see debit alert, I no see shi shi. After some days, I con say make I try the card again. That na when I con see say the thing don begin request for OTP again. So na the thing. I don't know what you think reporting to your bank will do for you but my advise is this: try and make sure that the money in the bank that is linked to that very card you are always using to fund your betting account or for other online business no too much. That way, the hackers who might hack into your account will only be able to use the money to buy like highest, 1500 MTN recharge card only. Aha ha ha ha ha aha ha ![]() |
Ewebuoy:Well sha, e dey happen like that sometimes... |
