Is that fellow a combatant? No weapon? No helmet? Who is he?

. Someone actually thought he's the troop's juju man. At some point he was showing emotions of genuine concern for their safety (human fear, if you like). So , I doubt he's their juju-man.

Because he's not properly kitted for combat, I'd like to think he's a prisoner on death row, as such it doesn't matter whether he lives or dies. So pathetic!

And that white sack he's bearing? shocked

All shall be well! May God keep these combatants risking their lives in poorly coordinated operations to keep us secured.

Honestly, this is not good. This one no be am o.

Whoever is chopping the defense money, know that karma will catch up with you.
Wasting the lives of innocent ( or not too innocent) soldiers , with inadequate equipment and arms...it's not fair o!
. I watched the video and honestly feel terrible. I'm not a security expert, but if this is kind of engagement the military has with armed bandits/terrorists from time to time, then it's simply sacrificing soldiers for nothing.

I just cannot critique this Operation, but is thankful it wasn't an engagement because breadwinners and loved ones would have been wasted through thoughtless planning.

If my dad was made to go through 5 Operations like this without aerial support especially, I know he wouldn't have retired alive.

My hope is that our military strategist would do more in intelligence gathering so that planned combat Operations as this would result in less casualties on the side of our ground troops.

They actually meant 600m total liters that have been refined since the refinery came on stream not daily.
I'm not sure that was expressly stated, nor was it implied.

600m litres could be correct!

It was said 20 trucks are daily dispatched with products. If they're 33,000 litres capacity trucks, them you already have approximately 6.6m litres daily.

4litres make a gallon and 40gallons make a barrel.

For some strange reason or maybe due to d fact that they some how believe that they will be fine, these type of couples u mentioned are able to raise their kids d best way they can with available resources. So if I were u, I go just relax and let them enjoy their lives
. Truth is they don't entirely 'enjoy' their lives which is why we are duty-bound as the more reasonable ones to educate people, especially the ones we have filial connections with, to the dangers of unrestrained procreation.

We're it not for for blood, God knows I would have ignored my sister, but now when water don pass garri, she has to be helped to stay alive to tend to the hordes she populated the world with.

The resources can never be adequate. A lot would miss out on opportunities because of scarce resources. While even the bright ones cannot be affordable repeated trials on the journey to a chosen course in life. Not when others need some opportunities too!

Na that road we follow, and the experiences wasn't nice at all.

I wish every parent will see this. A family of 5 that barely feed, I was surprised to see the woman pregnant again, and she was like, "this is the last one, this baby fit come uplift us from this poverty".

I don't even know what answer I'd give to her that would not sound like an insult.
I've been totally downcast since probing my younger sister last night after she approached me for assistance with an health-related issue.

We're not a close knit family because I long detached from reenacting any behaviour that could limit the opportunities of my kids like I had with my parents (yet dad did his utmost best. God forgive his errors and rest his soul).

She's 8yrs my junior, now has 6kids and is presently a single-mom, abandoned by the man she had the children for.

Sadest part was, the man absconded in 2015 abandoning her with 5 children; returned in 2021 to impregnate her with the sixth child and has abandoned her now.

Was heartbreaking, I asked her to convince me she wasn't a witch who loved to suffer needlessly.

After all is said and done, we should be careful not to give power to utterly clueless, ungrateful and sadistic people.

How a whole country was made to suffer grave loses because one ungrateful man approved the confiscation of our small funds; killed some businesses and made the majority suffer debilitating distress because he wanted to stop someone who had done him a great favour in the time past.

Yet, ABAT "won"?

I'm a bit disappointed. What's with all this tiny figures? The northerners will bombard us with APC: 2k+ votes in each polling unit..

But I'm just seeing a meager 150 LP votes in Edo.

I'm disappointed.
Indifference by Southerners, reflected in abysmally low voter turnout, is the reason the North with their largely illiterate but highly politically conscious population would boss us for a long time.

While leaving to vote, I was almost moved to tears to see people who are battered economically rather sit in groups and deliver their verdict "even if he win, dem no go gree give am".

Worse still, the ones you see at the polling units are serving as thugs while some others are waiting to be induced before voting.

My Joy? I've done my bit, the turnout was still a marked improvement from previous cycles and should get better as people perceive the electoral system to be more credible and yet suffer again from policies of future rulers like Buhari.

Overall, I'm positive no victor from this electoral cycle would dismiss the people as "inconsequential" anymore.

I'd be voting, but Atiku is the next president!

I would have preferred a situation of rampant vote-buying than this wickedness that has constricted the growth of the economy. By the time we start accessing results of the elections, then shall we know the wickedness that was behind the implementation of the cash seizure policy.

There'd be widespread voter apathy in the South because the momentum has terribly slowed down, and I think that's part of the plan to enthrone AA. You see the North? They'd still record voter turnout of say 60% while you'd hardly get 20% down south.

But how do I say 'God bless Buhari' like you when I've lost more than 100k in legitimate earnings since his enforced nightmare of a policy started?. Moreso, when I feel it is done to confer advantage on a particular candidate and not provide a level-playing field as a lot of people are made to see it.

Christendom had never been humiliated like this. Yoruba Muslims, muric and some Muslims in the north cheered them on to spite Christians and ridicule our faith and ensure aso rock chapel will never have a Christian president. Would their reaction have been the same if a ruling party had fielded a Christian Christian ticket after 8 years of Christian presidency? They would have used that as a pretext to start killing innocent Christians in the north
Where a man stands in times of inconveniences matters a lot.

Make no mistakes, PO seems the right choice not because he's not inclined to be as nepotistic as Buhari, but because he is most likely to be timely or proactive in securing the lives of citizens being one in a faith opposed to that which prides and revels in killing.

Most certainly, new levels of carnage shall be tested and that's was frightens me the most. ,,And the reason I think these pastors should have taken sides. Imams did yesterday while CAN and PFN decided to be chickens.

Fair enough, they may be not be easy targets but shall serve as trophies in the bloodbath to come, as such they'd be targeted nonetheless.

As for me, it's time to review my engagement with the Church in my relationship with God. So sad a number of these reverredd Pastor chose to be criminally silent!
