chatinent:Read through and couldn't help but laugh at how you are looking for suggestions on how to deal with a gossip. Seem you have soo much spare time or a lot of energy to want to deal with a gossip 'legally'. Abeg free the woman joor and ignore her going forward. |
Okeytus:Didn't want to state it bluntly. In this time and age, nothing makes his actions acceptable. He invests his money in running the home; she's saves hers and uses to take care of her family and capital projects, whose documents would be in her name judging by how they are relating presently. We can't but wish the Op goodluck. Sha, me I know say na 'this their cunning cunning love' go first take flight once storm hit their union, because this their foundation get as e be. |
[quote author=Hotzone post=89784328 Please, I need u to talk to me because I am about to “collect list” from her kinsmen.[/quote]Mi broda, I don't have a problem with her not wearing the engagement ring, but your probing exposed two things: one, the need to properly clarify what the spiritual issues arising from wearing a simple ring is, and the bigger need to come clean if she generally feels you're the one she'd have settled with but is being forced, by time and chance, to tag with you. If there are real spiritual issues, please run! And if she is managing to be with you, reconsider. With regard to your assertion of being totally responsible for the both of you while she's your superior in a manner of speaking, .... You are about to walk into a mine Field! In deciding to marry my wife, support was a key consideration and I have not been proven wrong after a little over three years now. I may need to add that I don't wear my wedding ring, except to church or family functions and cares less if my wife keeps wearing hers or chooses to drop them like I did mine. I wish you luck |
I am not surprised some governors could afford to infinitely extend lockdowns. What do they even have to lose set? Their source is the centre from which allocations come and for as long as that supply isn't threatened, nothing creative in handling the scamdemic would find expression. |
Abbeylanre15:I lashed out previously because I understand what work and trouble goes into planting, establishing and sustaining a business concern. It would be totally unfair to stay aloof while crooks bring someone else's sweat to ruin! Again, I quite differ with people advising that you report the theft anonymously because it only portrays you, who is employed to identify, block/plug, and escalate misdeeds as this, as incompetent. If you were not in the position you hold, it would have been okay to be an anonymous whistle blower, but as the accountant/CFO you are an accomplice and would never be shielded should an independent audit reveal the theft. You still have the chance to prove the fear of God and show some integrity, especially given that you have warned them, by reporting them. Hope you redeem yourself and save madam's business. |
Abbeylanre15:I feel so very vexed right now that you are concealing/abetting grand theft while professing to be Godfearing. Your are making a mockery of your professed faith. What would it profit you when the MD's business is run aground when you are complicit, yet professing the fear of God, on a job your parents could not create for you to work in post-graduation. Not exactly your fault though! If she had employed the services of external/independent auditors, you and your band of criminals should have been both jobless and confined in a prison. So allow her business die so you can get your trophy. |
jabor4Naija: I bin wan ask am d same thing na im I notice say one na gist and the other na experience from im hood.Nonetheless, it's well! |
Nwakannaya1:There you have pinned it accurately! I know a lady who, with her hubby then, designed and achieved birthing their first child three years after marriage. Except, she knows of an incidence that may have damaged the "friend's" womb, thus making her feel cool that her friend may have to wait longer to get a miracle. |
For me, the position of the WHO is what is laughable. You simply see how hard they are trying to avoid more problems with the USA and the market for their Remdisivir drug and vast number of ventilators. Way to go! If man dey die, e fit chop shit, if that one go help am well. While the herbal mixture is being subjected to lab analysis, no time should be wasted in administering to patients who are willing to try it even without confirmatory tests from NAFDAC. Hope, this helps us see the end of COVID-19 and all of its troubles in the world. |
Leo3333:Give me ten years, and I would not have articulated my position, which is exact as yours, in the manner you did. Just negodu! Even cows wey dey procreate from eating only grass and cassava peels no fit multiply for Buhari farms. Same number over two decades. It saddens that some misguided people easily cannot respect that Atiku's businesses, which are separate legal entity has taken hard decisions to ensure they still float in these challenging times. |
It's the way to go! We simply take our chances. Good enough, remedial drugs are currently undergoing clinical trials while vaccines are being cooked up. Then again, I saw a video of a local herbs a prophetess purports to cure the virus. So why bear the brunt of hunger when options for remedy are being perfected? On the flip side, you won't like the numbers already siphoned in the guise of palliatives that turned out ineffective, or is it the amounts already expended on PPEs that are now inadequate or the economic costs of shutting down the economy when we are just not getting the overall process of containment right? People have started losing their jobs as a fallout of the pandemic. Many more would be affected; businesses would die and many more folks with varying health conditions would die because they can't access healthcare services. So why continue lockdown? |
These guy have been cashing out massively since this phoney began, yet they've not had their fill. If hunger and the adverse health effect have killed more than covid-19 why is this conduit still active? |
Lewisalexander:You sha go fear! One simply have to have deep thoughts before and while doing good. See crase neighbor wen I get. Connected them to my gen serving them light for over 5months, dem no know how much to service gen, maintain am, how much I dey spend on fuel or what effort I make to pump water regularly. So his children wilfully run water down a day after filling 2000L tank. This lockdown helped me confirm. I promptly disconnected them; instructed my wife to stop pumping water as soon as she fills he storage containers and effectively barred any neighbor from visiting. Mehn see beef! But I no send. You see the world people are ba kan ba kan! We have to be careful, best intentions are often misconstrued. Make person no go attack you thinking say na you be d cause of im problems, wen yousef dey struggle to escape hard life. |
But where exactly is the President in all of this? I see Trump briefing Americans and the world daily on the progress his government is making but how is Buhari providing leadership in this country sef? While the country stay locked down, incalculable damage is being down to the economy. The country appears to be on autopilot yet the micromanagers have failed to think out means to float the economy, at least, by creative means while the fight to contain covid continues. Businesses capitalized to less than 100k most probably should have liquidated by now because their owners are forced to stay home and eat all of it. Inflation bourgeons because moving 'nonessential' goods is akin to smuggling because interstate borders are closed in a manner of speaking. Some ATM are expired and some bank customers are yet to get ATMs they applied for in this period while being forced to stay home and being a burden to others who are managing to survive. Then again, it appears these people care less what health crises is brewing with the ravaging hunger because they are well fed but only need to be shielded from covid-19. My submission is: if really covid-19 has subdued effects in tropical climate as ours, why should we continue to ground our economy in the name of a lacklustre fight? The country has recorded just 38 deaths, about 1240 cases and 300+ discharged. You keep people locked down without mass testing and palliatives as the countries you are copying do. Yet deaths from enforcing the lockdown dwarfs that from the pandemic itself. Government at all levels have found a new conduit for stealing funds in the name of palliatives that could best be described as a mockery, giving a daily income earners ingredients for a meal and asking him to stay home for 2 weeks. So sad that these fat cows are forcing poor folks to stay locked up and risk debilitating hunger and increased poverty because they want to safeguard their health and steal monies from phantom allocation to equipment. PPE and palliatives. |
JasonJidenna:So much for eulogies! At the fullness of time, Mallam Abba Kyari shall be canonized in the moulds of Rev Fr Francis Tansi. He bothered so much about ending corruption and for five years not an inch of progress was made (because, to me, Buhari abdicated responsibility a long time ago, and then it's open knowledge that Buhari directed that all Memos by Ministers should be run by him. As for The Economist magazine, I don't feel disappointed by their article. Goes to show they have bills to pay and everyone has a price! |
Lotusflowerbomb:someone drew attention to the fact that it was his elder brother and not him. The Op na hotbodi. He attached Dikibo's to his elder brother's |
iyatrustee:You can imagine the concobility by the Op. Somewhere deep within, I thought they were two different peeps with Dikibo Horsfall the younger. But since the Op could not separate one from the other, I paid my respects thinking it was guy and not his elder brother. Death will miss Dikibo's address for many more years. Insha Allahu. |
Rest on Chief Dikibo Horsfall! I totally enjoyed watching you in "Tinsel". May God comfort the family and loved ones left to mourn him. I sure would miss you. |
Charleys:kai shege! If these are true, then that man must be in the league of Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, just that he is more dangerous. He has the lives of a whole state to affect directly while being a joker. Whereas, Obahiagbon was effective for comic relief for members of the House of Representatives. |
Aye oooo! May God comfort his family left to mourn him and grant him rest. Then again, news like this gives my type reasons to stay extremely thankful that we became fathers in due time according to God's calendar. Having a friend who's still expecting to be a father 10yrs after marriage has opened my eyes to how sensitive it is to discuss infertility or sterility in marriages. Most times, some good time must have been lost before the discussions start and oftentimes the husbands scare away from participating for fear of being the culprit. Is it hard to rationalize why she took steps to seek out Uchenna after her suspicion that she may not be the problem? No, I think! She was only looking for her best interests in the matter, considering that the deceased didn't want to be part in situating where the problem lied. When, I saw the headline, I actually was thinking the discovery was made after the only child had graduated from the University, ...but 5months? Suicide was too drastic as reaction to the betrayal. For her part, if we could isolate the part about Uchenna being a better performer, we ought to commend the woman for making the exposition early enough. The man was really drained of emotional energy to have chose n suicide. I choose to refrain from calling him weak! Hope the young lady finds happiness now that she's a mother and may God forgive the deceased for his indiscretion. |
Omenkata:flesh and blood did not reveal this to you mi broda. |
Why people waste their breathe making suggestions on filling vacant positions as far as Buhari is concerned beats me. First off, 6 months may be needed, but surely the candidate must be a Muslim from the core of the North. More importantly, no fresh name would. Peeps in his circle who have rolled with the president for at least 30yrs are d most qualified. |
Fragility6:if only they van quantify the damage they have done to interstate commerce, especially given the fact that we source goods from their markets. As the scam don't tear, make them no ease the lockdown as yet o! Man need to figure how to raise currency to manage again since dem don use their format burst hole for my pocket. Yeye people! |
Shibaraba:fair enough! |
Shibaraba: . Seriously, it would break the heart to know what the average fine girl labels you when you turn yourself into her provider or 'ever present help in times of need'. The names are not nice at all!I was tending to my matter when a girl came with a ware needing me to patronize. Unlike me, I listened to her; she made a few more visits and in one of them told me her story. Touched, I committed to raising close to 50% of her fees. Then any time she came around, which was becoming like thrice a week, she gets something decent to fare back to school. So, it happened one day, she got really carried away and was raving about how she would have nothing romantic to do with a married man. Mehn, after fire baptism on the last relationship before getting married, e no go make sense make thunder strike for one place twice. I needed to extricate from the leech. Note, my intentions were noble, not because I want to stay righteous but because I don't want to be entangled with a girl that may be having sexual relationship with yahoo ritualists and be trapped in some sort of spiritual complications. I have enough on my plate already. So I said Sister, I already made a commitment, I would redeem Insha Allahu, but I am careful not to be tagged inappropriately going forward, so I won't like you coming around since I cant ask to be compensated with sex. Help guys instead! |
richidinho:Sense will not kee you! Dimwits are making a lame effort at proving to civilians like me their degraded capabilities. Leave them make them dey zouzou dey go. I dey house dey laff them. Seized only 2 Ak47 after killing scores of insurgents who came with 'warships' , gunships, antiaircraft whatever, without suffering casualties, yet no pictorial evidence. Ekpa people! |
illicit:You underrate the average Warri man then. I have said it would be ill-advised to deploy soldiers for the enforcement of an order by an idiot feeding off our commonwealth, simply because some paramilitary were roughened. These fellas would be totally demystified in the coming days. Una say make somebody siddon for house with hungry family because una wan contain corona abi? Warri would create a template for other docile cities to replicate. |
Eboski:If you know how volatile that local government is and how spontaneous those guys can be, you would understand how ill-advised it is to deploy soldiers. Those guys would repel them and demystify them like Boko Haram is doing. Implication is, many other locations would take a cue. But, on an aside, you think it is easy to bear hunger as well as watch your family go hungry because one guy that's feeding off government has decreed so? ..and without paliatives, when over 60% manage on what they can scrape from daily hustles? You would understand which is worse between a lockdown and a civil unrest caused by hunger resulting from a lockdown. |
Osagyefo98: . From your post, I am assuming you stay in Ologbo and is very sure of what you posted there or has been informed that a border-wall now separates Edo and Delta State to be certain that someone who is desperate enough cannot make the inter-state transit. Let me leave you to situate the validity of my position. It doesn't matter to me |
Osagyefo98:Let me make it clearer. Let's assume Oghenekevwe badly needs to go to Benin from Warri and suddenly finds out that the road had has been barricaded at the border community of Ologbo. He would simply alight at Ologbo and trek to the other part to join an Edo intra state shuttle. Same thing someone who desperately needs to get to Lagos would do, vice versa |
Osagyefo98:I laugh at those of you commending governors on such ineffective measures as "lockdown". Isn't the lock down supposed to bar vehicular movements only? What if an infected person gets to one border, alight and join an intra-state shuttle, then disembark to join another till he gets to Warri, from say Lagos. In three days time, we shall see if covid-19 is deadlier than hunger |
