PureGoldh:I tells you! Now, this is testament to the fact that Kogi people, acting through the majority of delegates at the primaries, love this guy and have validated his deeds. Just one more hurdle and he can nick the 'good deeds' up to za next lebule! Abeg make una give me chance laugh small. Just as it is written, now is Yahaya Bello's time to chastise the Kogi people with scorpions. |
Congratulations are in order for Lfc and VVD. While the team efforts earned them glory eventually, thecontribitions of VVD, Alisson Becker and Sadio Mane takes the most of my accolades. I look forward to a new and successful campaign for the Reds and pray we could just somehow win the PL this time out. YNWA! |
weak45:Thank God for the help that saved your brother's. My point is: some fellows have been unfortunate in their life-saving mission to have ended up in prison, awaiting trial for very long periods, because the people they were trying to revive died before reaching the hospital. May God continue being our ever present help in times of need, so we don't bring sorrows our supposed helpers. |
Babalegba:There you have it! In circumstances like this no measure of care taken should be seen as extreme. Personally, I wouldn't offer to help directly as the young man did. If you've ever had dealings with those low-level Investigating Police Officers or been at a court where a pronouncement by a Judge can spontaneously alter the course of your life, you would agree that some good deeds shouldn't be tried in this Nigeria Wey we dey so. |
I quite commend his humane act, but may not be disposed to offering help if I was in his stead. That would be for her neighbours! A few days ago, I read about how prison has been home, for over 4yrs, to a concerned relative, who unfortunately lost the victim (in a situation as this I guess) his good self was making efforts to resuscitate, on their way to the hospital. Make person good no let him life turn upside down. |
Not many of us would resist the temptation of a fine asset offered on a platter. When a similar thing happened 6yrs ago, I ruthlessly appropriated all two! ![]() |
That letter must be a translation of a memo originally written in Hausa or Fulfude. Honestly, on a level playing field, devoid of federal character or nepotism, these northerners would be no better than serving as domestic aides or farm hands to the southerners. But, give it to them, they already had it figured eons ago reason they secured political power as birthright and have had other pecks added, in the security of the Federal Character system for the purposes of admissions and recruitments. In addition, this is why their elites have no qualms with the"education is haram" crusade that they are clandestinely using to put their majority in ignorance ao that thefew opportunities that they would still get can be shared, circulated among their small cliques. |
![]() Samsonklin: . Perhaps reason why we should live with a care about how people would remember us when we are through with our sojourn here. Ovie Orosuen wasn't quite known to me, but I can still recall that He and his gang ensured that my friend, course mate and pillar against hunger got rusticated for 2 sessions when shukuli was found on her. I hardly would blame him for that though. Then, I think my hostel mate, who was his student then quite see him as you do. But, nonetheless, to the extent that Paul Okumagba led the gang that fought exam fraud to the ground during my years at Abk, he has my respect. May God comfort those loved ones left to bear the loss of his demise. |
Dr Paul Okumagba that year! Dreaded member of the Exam Ethics Committee. God rest your soul. |
accessbetmedia:Issue's been resolved. I know this number, but pardon me, how's it dialled |
accessbetmedia:please can i have your customer care lines. An issue has gone unresolved |
miltonchux:could u help with the email of the unit of the CBN one should put in copy? I am in a similar situation |
I sent an sms to intended beneficiary(IB) informing him that I'd be transferring =N=40,000 to him on the 30th May 2019. To this end, I sent my wife armed with my ATM to make a deposit and thereafter transfer to IB, on her way to the hospital for an appointment for our daughter who took ill. Next day, IB called to tell me he didn't receive the money, whereas I got a debit alert previous day which I had deleted. After waiting all through the weekend to either have him credited or my money reversed, I made a complaint on the 3rd of June at my branch of Union Bank, from whose ATM the transfer was made and was told investigations would require 7 working days, asides weekends and public holidays, to complete. The wait lasted on 14th June when I was told by the Union Bank Customer Care(UBCC) that beneficiary received value for the transaction. This position was echoed by the Customer Desk Officer (CDO) at my branch. Disturbed, I had IB send screenshots of his Bank Statement which showed he did not get value, until some days later when the CDO at my branch clarified that the transfer originally intended for FBN acct 30287***** was wrongly made to FBN acct 30827***** by my wife. To get a reversal, I was told to apply, following which my bank would liaise with FBN. Unfortunately, the CDO told me a similar case from ast year has gone cold/dead adding that it was likely safe I assumed that my money was lost. That made me channel my complaints to the UBCC rather than waste time with someone whose has clearly expressed a lack of motivation to follow through with my application. My search has revealed the wrong beneficiary to be a female teacher who hasn't done Verification on that account, meaning she cannot draw the said amount. Meantime, successive follow-up calls to the UBCC shows that the FBN has not gone past stating that they would have to first establish contact with the wrong beneficiary before anything else happens. This, for me, raises a number of questions: 1. What if she has lost/retired the contact phone number which is on the KYC she filled, thus making her perpetually unreachable? 2. What of she no longer wishes to use that FBN acct (like I have done to some specific bank accounts in my past) hence the reason the account hasn't been linked to her BVN all these while? 3. What if, for strange personal reasons, she shows an unwillingness to cooperate with her bank's genuine efforts at returning my money thus leaving it in escrow. 4. All the above are based on the assumption that the wrong beneficiary is not even deceased! Given the fact that it is most likely to take multiple lifetime to get back my money, going at this rate, add this the friction this has caused between me and IB and the sundry dislocation the absence of this fund has caused for my business smooth operation, I would appreciate advise from peeps who have had a similar situation resolved and also need advise on less costly means through which I could force a prompt restitution. Thanks for having the patience to read up till this point. |
Thank God for marriage! Not exactly a grand patron of prostitutes, but I have had a mix of bad experiences with them that could provide guidance to peeps who still do. About 20yrs ago, while"doing my rite of passage" into manhood, while on a visit to a friend in Nyanya Abj, we visited a brothel. They haggled and paid and simply asked me to go fly. Ashawo handed me a condom and after I was done with business, I innocently left until my paddy asked where my used condom was so I could dispose of it. I raced back to ask for it.... Your ears would be overburdened to hear the insults the band of prostitutes heaped on me. I felt raped! Yet, I couldn't get itback because I was shown 4 expended condoms with semen on them and asked to pick mine. Unfortunately, like every bad behavior, I didn't end with that experience. I now recollect that I had another experience about 7 yrs ago where I was robbed of a week's wages of some colleagues in a prostitute's cubicle while I was tumbling.Guys should just stay off prostitutes because there you find orisirisi and iranu. Warning!! All those bad things I used to do, ...I do them no more. |

czarina: . Easy on him sis. Many thanks to those who helped expose him as a fraud. You see, when people easily drop pride to solicit financial help like this. It's either they desperately need help or are career crooks. I had my suspicions when I read the part where his alternate moniker wanted to leave whatever business he was engaged in to go verify his claims in Okrika. It is fraudsters like this guy that defrauded thousands of us that year, in the South-South, through NDAF on the award of phoney undergraduate scholarships. |
ManspaceBarber:i noted your whatsapp number. Would conclude with you there |
ManspaceBarber:sorry i think i am mistaken. It is the new season's jersey i need. |
ManspaceBarber:would i be correct to assume that you would start sales in August then? |
ManspaceBarber:medium. Can i know the factors that cause the variation |
ManspaceBarber:how much is this exact type Mane is wearing and your location |
TVTKOKO:dead on arrival sir. |
Sorry, you'll have to learn from this experience. But, more than the business, I can gather than you got the hammer after losing money to seeking fraudulent ways to quickly multiply your money. Should you want to take another chance at venturing into production, be sure not to start off with loan financing. It is not easy to break even in a market where you don't have a monopoly, moreso where you come with an added disadvantage of not having a properly packaged product. Per chance you feel convinced about the viability of your production business and would still want to access loan financing, then pay attention to the rate at which your are borrowing. From your write-up, I can deduce that you borrowed at a monthly rate of 13.5%. That's enough to make your venture D.O.A. Furthermore, be careful to negotiate some grace period before commencing repayments. Such period afford your business the time to find some measure of stability. Kudos to you for trying out at this very young age. Please inform your creditor about the death of your business and work to repay his money with the agreed interests. |
lonelygem:Quite a lotta sense you made up there. If I was that guy, some few years back, my reaction would have been spontaneous, reciprocal and weightier. If it was last week, I may have gone outside that banking hall to wait for her while I put a call through to my wife to come deal her an equal measure of physical brutality. But after witnessing someone, an acquaintance, die instantly from stabbings after a disagreement and the violence that followed as well as imagining the chances that the guy who did the stabbing has lost his peace and would soon lose his freedom for a long time, I now know how to apply PATIENCE! But women should understand that men are thoroughly stressed from trying to decently cater for their families and can ill-afford unwarranted slaps from a misguided woman being. ![]() |
What a very appropriate labelling! The foolish lady thought she was all out against Churchill. Guess its time to start her defense. Aunty wey mumu!! |
Blue3k:Then, there's nothing to celebrate |
WritePal:I wanted to check what your persuasion is given the turn of events sir. |
Blue3k:It's a simple something! If Buhari is serious about fighting corruption in that regard, then we may just be able to record the gains of having a NASS leadership anointed by the Executive. While crooks like the Ibom governor and other willing co-travellers would proceed to quash the NFIU guidelines up to Supreme Court, the Executive should simply prepare a bill to make it known to the law. What a rubber-stamp legislature does is to give it accelerated hearing and hurriedly pass it into law so that the gains of plugging this hole in public finance is blocked finally. |
Nasa28:Like Reno Omokri, I also like the way Buhari is fighting corruption. |
dayleke:My friend Felix's quote would be apt:small pikin never start business, e say profit too much! On paper, all ideas are brilliant until you are to domesticate/model them to real life situations. She was spending a lot on transport to get her supplies; wasn't consistent with stock availability;lost a sizeable fraction to perishability and could have granted debts to some customers I think. That way,.....gradually but surely she got liquidated! |

. Easy on him sis. Many thanks to those who helped expose him as a fraud.
