Activist001:For me, much credit should go to the police for the most civil manner they handled those Trump mobsters. The strength of the personnel in the Council police department was overwhelmed because they didn't anticipate that the covert plan of the mobsters was an insurrection. Nonetheless, they received support from sister agencies, the National Guard et all in very good time. They deserve credit for their efficiency at managing crisis situations. The events/civil disturbances that forced a stop to certifying the Biden /Harris victory at the Capitol yesterday was totally uncalled for and very shameful. America, by Trump's actions, did lose the moral latitude to mediate in matters of democratic/election disputes in other countries, especially those they term "the third world". To the woman that died, if she wasn't a legislative aide, a staff at the Capitol, a journalist or law enforcement agent (to put it appropriately, if she was a part of the mob that overran the Capitol), then she deserved her fate. Heaven knows, if it was Nigeria, dead bodies would have littered everywhere! God bless America |
After they have navigated this frightening seeming overthrow of a constitutionally prescribed process of validating their electoral process, I would be interested in knowing how they would deal with Trump, who is the chief proponent of this sedition. A man that swore to uphold the letters of their constitution is throwing his country to the dogs by his endless rants and very reckless tweets that keeps emboldening those dumb protesters. I shame for the USA |
Following it live on TV, I can't but feel shame for how one man's inordinate ambition and unfounded claims is making a mockery of a democracy which hitherto we have viewed as a model. Such a shame! |
ManOfCompetence:God grant eternal repose to the soul of the departed and grant his loved ones the strength to soldier on. To your observation, nature just finds a way to achieve a balance so we don't have a category of peeps with irredeemably bad cases. When I saw a mad man drinking water from a gutter yesterday, I know say God graduate sickness and everybody get the category he for catch based on his levels generally. |
authority2006:Ogbeni, you see, if this issue is not in the public space, I would not be airing my views. He provided a seed capital of $300m for the take-off of the venture while those two others became shareholders by contributing just the idea. . No disclosure as to the shareholding structure; yet for several years he kept sinking money into a nonproductive venture? Is he that daft? On top of that, he went ahead to open same business, probably employing others and overseeing it? Just tell me what changed. I wish him luck. |
seborrhic:In this coming year, sense wee not kee you! You see those two guys, they're pulling wool over our eyes. One more question: if Okocha wasn't involved directly in running the allege drainpipe, where, when and how did he now get the expertise to run the BDC registered in his name? Yeye dey smell! |
gamegear:I'm quite inclined to ask this same question, Mr Op. Again, I would believe you if you say you hope to dedicating inflows into that account to taking care of your indebtedness to Access Bank. If, I assume that to be true, how then did you plan to run your financial commitment to your family? I can only imagine what anguish you may passing through ATM, but it is what it is: explain to him the situation with that account so he (the accountant) can source the pay of his colleague(your former junior) from other source(s) since it was his mistake. At least he has a job and made the mistake of crediting your account. So, he simply has to take responsibility until things ease up for you a bit. |
palsenator:Really refreshing to know that you still stuck to trading FX and eventually turned a corner. As humans, no way we don't want to be ambitious. You make gains trading some lot size; then you imagine why not make bigger gains, then u increase your lot size without limits; then a sudden announcement/unforeseen event makes the trade go in the opposite direction you predicted/entered and boom! You're totally liquidated! Can't totally foreclose it, but at this stage up building capacity for my young family, I cannot manage such risks. Good luck to you bro. |
When, in 2009 or so, I lost very valuable savings to the volatility of FX trading, seeing all of my investment vanish in less than 4 minutes while monitoring the fatal position, I was sure it would only take a prophecy to trade again. .I finished 4litres of water in less than 2 minutes because I was feeling 'ba kan ba kan'. The biggest single loss I have made till date. God forgive his sins and rest his soul. I can only imagine how hopeless he felt before ending it all since, aside losing his stakes, he lost countless others' money to such hugely risky investment. |

2 goals down against Leicester City FC at 77mins, Mourinho and his Tottenham appears to be shuffling to their decent positioning. .Rather than prepare to stave off the onslaught from the visitors, he was preoccupied with offering unsolicited view about how Flick and not Klopp should have been awarded best coach. See him life now. |
GodWrites:very harsh! But, sadly, the truth, to a large extent. |
When I got notification announcing it's now 5:0, what then is there to say? Such a shame CP wanted to flex because Fulham did. Well-done Liverpool! |
millionboi2:Well said bro! About the first thing I read out of all the comments, up to yours, that makes particular sense. Some guy opened a thread alleging that he married into the wrong family yesterday. In same thread, he detailed how he's never enjoyed a sustainable breakthrough because he got married to a wife, whom revelations showed, has been used for ritual. Such that whenever he has intercourse with her, whatever successes he he'd managed previously goes to waste! And here, you see small boys asking him to collect his share and bolt. Such a pity! Until young men flee formication, especially given these perilous times of ritual yahoo plus, we sure would have lotta walking corpses in the bear future. |
Epicji:Methinks he isnt sufficiently distressed by his endless rigmaroles yet. If he has situated where the problems lie, why not totally extricate himself even if it means not having access to his two kids. Hopefully, when he's had his fill, he would make the very tough decision. |
Perfectsouth:I am assuming your story to be true and would first express sympathy for all the troubles you've had to deal with. This part about not making your kids suffer for their mom's sins or/and their mom using them as a bargaining chip is one thing, which may ultimately prevent you breaking from the apparent cycle of poverty which entanglement with your wife causes. I have lived long enough to be sensitive to situations and flee any relationship/entanglement to could lead to further complications of this "just" one life I have live for several decades that has really not been "balanced". To help you understand fully, I am married with an adorable 2.5yr old daughter, but should any misfortune befall me on account of my wife's commission or indiscretions (God forbid!), then she can take my daughter along with her if she so chooses. If a sequence has been established wherein you lose economic standings after intercourse with your wife, and this was buttressed by a revelation, then what are you waiting for? To keep moving in circles until you are drained of youthful vigour or the desire to be ambitious? Wetin dey do you? |
Kai death! A tribesman in whom I'm well pleased has left too soon. May God forgive his errors; grant him eternal rest and give his loved ones the courage to cope with the loss. |
DimplesLikeWow:If you read the preceding part carefully, he too intended to waste a whole human because of a motorcycle, since it was alleged that he shot at the okada whose saving grace was his "native" bulletproof. For me, if the story is true, fair enough! |
Is there a need for all these? Wetin e see for Mercy hand wen people Neva see before? So the best way to allocate the use of his plenty free time is to chronicle events in their failed relationship? Man be trying hard to confirm all the nonsense alleged against him |
OK2NVME:To the Op, here you have the best solution to your mom's palaver |
BornMarch15:you had the nerve to interview armed robbers, on a mission, veiled as protesters? Maybe, it's just me, but you have scant value for your life. |
Godfullsam:If GMB is the name of a living thing, then this insensitivity and others before now shows his ....... Man presides over virtual meetings only and speaks only through proxies, haba! Guess, I can now situate why service chiefs have stayed soo long on their beat even after repeated calls for their removal following dismal performance |
Noted, with thanks! |
virtuouswoman77:I attend the Living Faith Church and would not come across as your core church guy but there's a thing I am very sure about given your predicament:é ni lati gbadura gidi gan! Story was told (years ago) by my big cousin of a young lawyer who got thoroughly messed up by his addiction to alcohol (ogogoro) that he he found it really convenient to sleep in gutters after his bouts. This happened for a fairly long while till he got delivered spiritually after the death of his captor. So it happened that he had a big gallon tied to his neck such that he would never get satisfied until he drinks up to that gallon in a day! So you can understand how almost useless he was made because no one would naturally have the capacity to down 4litres of ogogoro daily. Your husband's case may be similar. Not saying you shouldn't pay attention to other useful suggestions though. |
PoliticallyInco:Armed with the benefit of hindsight, I quite admire your disposition to womenfolk. We could say the only redemption for me was getting married and staying absolutely responsible to family first before parents! But hey, I mumu wella dat year and very much knows I'm yet to be purged of that trait of stupidity. ![]() Hopefully, we would stay on course reading notes of conquerors like you. Thumbs up bruv! |
OrluFemmeKing:Not too sure. Maybe, he entrusted his daughter, being more responsible than boda Francis (the loafer that breaks people's head), to administer the property while also prioritizing the education and wellbeing of those children. Would be very difficult for grandchildren to be prime beneficiaries in a case like this when there are surviving children. |
maasoap:I'd have to take back my comment about admiring Gbagi. Tbh, I didn't mean admiring the brute that he is. I only like his fearlessness and outspokenness in condemning Ibori for all the while he was governor. I can never sides with someone who cheats staff or brutalizes people because they are hapless and beneath them. I have always know he has the capacity for inconceivable evil, though I have not kept tabs on him since leaving Delta in 2011. Man has been wicked since the late 1990's when I knew him. Words in the hood then was that he forced an artisan(painter I think) to work without pay after the guy refused to work after being accused of stealing materials. Man fenced a street road to remodel into a close(now Gbagi close, off Aya Street, Off Jakpa road, Effurun) for reasons nobody knows. So you can see he's been a wicked man for a long time now. |
maasoap:If you check my posts on this subject matter, you would realize that at some point I know Gbagi fairly closely. Aside being from the same local government and knowing someone who hails from his native Oginibo. I stayed close to him mid to late 1990's. It would be safe to say you would never get a good testimonial of him from anyone that knows him closely. That man is mean! There's no evil anyone has alleged against him that he's incapable of doing. However, I am aware he, most likely, had been a multi-millionaire long before he contested against Ibori in the PDP primaries leading to 1999. Definitely not from politics. He's been a serial contestant for the governorship of Delta State under PDP and may have only got compensated with the Junior Minister position during Jonathan's time. Never had a long career as an appointee of government certainly. Need I add, that with the way he talks against corruption and fearlessly criticized Ibori, I doubt he stole when he was a minister, so his money didn't come from abuse of position as a politically exposed person. On a lighter note, if people hero-worship Wike for his fearlessness, then I would tell you for free that the ant wey dey sight for Gbagi brain harsh pass Wike own. In summary, I don't like him totally, just some tiny things about him ![]() |
airsaylongcom:No wonder. Thanks for the education |
