prelinctus:With mindset like this, you would most likely justify crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism if it's linked to a 'strongman'. We may not go far in our quest to win the war against corruption if some 'cows' are held sacred. |
mankan2k7:That man acts on impulse like a juvenile! He has arrears pending; IGR that's not self-sustaining; Knows of the experiences of a certain Osun State with regard to the implementation of such ill-advised welfare programme, yet wants to push ahead because a brainless APC federal government is being stampeded into doing it. I wish him loads of luck on this one as it would henceforth cause the blabbermouth to channel his threshold energy into some form of creative thinking than the nuisance he has been constituting since january. |
ihatebuhari:Posing as a female shows you're a coward, and with all the thrash you typed there. . . you're a fool! Dolts like you make us look like the ibos who adulate criminals. Who Jonathan help sef? |
CrazyMan:Was he the one that commissioned the confab? Why don't you ask your Jesus why the report was adopted in February -over a year after it ended. Implementing the report is a legacy of Jonathan which Buhari doesn't want to take credit for. Vote Jonathan in 2019 so he can begin its implementation. |
saintkel:Repulsive as you've sounded thus far, I still feel the need to let you know a few things. Had those bandits caught on the trail of Jonathan done anything untoward, does your unstable mind tell you that Nigeria would have gone up in flames? Just so you'd know, that idiot albino made louder noise but has been caged in the 'zoo' for over a month, with the worst from his followers being a plea for his arraignment. If you've benefitted well enough to be dead to the agonies of the families of deceased soldiers or the plight of internally displaced persons, just wait until he is indicted, arrested and made to face an open trial so strongmen like you can make good your threats. |
Thought he and the state wanted to mourn for 7days? Funny guys! Anyways, let the legal fireworks to find a proper interpretation to the relevant section of the constitution begin. I'm at the Supreme Court waiting already. |
OlujobaSamuel:No! This isn't about strength. I simply see a man who doesn't want to steal but wants to shore up his earnings from the receipt of estacodes. I see a man who apparently cares less about every other thing plaguing the nation since it gets increasingly clear he cannot fight corruption by decrees. I have learnt to lower my expectations of his tenure as he keeps proving that he is very poorly equipped to deal with the challenges of a 21st century country in dire need of development. Because he is from the region where dependency thrives, he sees no need to remove subsidy; has no qualms with wasting public funds in paying some category of loafers 5k monthly and is absolutely not bothered about the faltering state of the economy. Except some ministers exhibit personal brilliance, PMB'd be a waste of another 4yrs. |
new2020:The kind of silly comments local champions make when they're reading dailies for free at news stands. Pray, when did Buhari become the returning officer to call it inconclusive? Why not wait till the Supreme Court steps in to interprete the law as it relates to the unfortunate situation in Kogi? No be only 'bane', na 'barn'! |
So saddening is the fact that the majority of our people who are literate had very poor education but more worrisome is the fact that they are incapable of rational analysis and critical thinking. smh |
maupe:If you are Maupe Ogun, though I doubt it, then you are an utterly daft person. Do you really mean to say that the 9 times winner of the "TV Station of the Year" connived with officials of the DPR to deceive Nigerians about the enforcement of a ministerial order? |
Mr Op, what were you thinking when you wished Nigerians returned Jonathan to power when you failed to remember that he had to borrow to pay salaries in April when oil was still selling above $50 per bbl and NOI had to justify a request for a further and related loan of $2bn by saying we were under-borrowed by whatever standards she saw in her dreams? What were you thinking when you failed to realise that PMB is earning less but hasn't had to borrow to pay salaries in 7months? Wish for whatever you like, but do well to find an appropriate yardstick to benchmark conduct, earnings and performance make bad belle no kill you! |
banki:Don't you just feel sorry for those horrible dimwits and their pathetic fixation for the return of a plunderer? |
Strongbest:wanted to know if you have anything on the practical production of adhesive gums. the type used for shoe making, furniture making and plumbing works |
With the ultimatum by the Arewa youths counting down, those fellas know that it's only a publicized denunciation that may save a mass of them in the north from transforming to Kilishi at the fullness of time. |
idupaul:Abeg no make laff too much these sobering times. much as I dey suspect wetin d baba dey yarn, I just gbadun him use of english. If to say na him say 107 soldiers no miss, I for believe am. No be that boss wen dey carry snake up n down and dey follow rank n file dey jog with walking stick. |
This man get stamina sha! Umar getting set to be served same dish as Lamorde |
Who wouldn't feel sorry for the PDP? The high performance target of at least a press release or press conference per day, which seem to be what is demanded of Metuh's office so as to make the PDP come across as a virile opposition, is making this guy come across like a clown if not a fool. |
omolami:You just echoed my thoughts actually. Why PMB still sustains this subsidy regime when many more conduits would be introduced from next year, just to deliver on their thoughtless campaign promises, beats me. |
JigsawKillah:When you think about how some supposedly educated members of this forum, for partisan reasons, have foreclosed all avenues at getting properly educated on the false alarm by Dino Melaye, one should justifiably feel frustrated. No doubt, Fayose's idiocy is on an ascendancy. . . it should be allowed to fluorish till he becomes a hopeless case. |
FreeGlobe:thought you earlier on referred to him as 'killer president'. |
This church whose members are so fond of wearing banners all over the place. Anyways, he is first an heebo man before a pastor. . . . so why am I surprised? |
calaway:I had to double-check to be sure Dino Melaye did not cross carpet while men slept. Then talking about arrest and prosecution, you would agree with me me that letters of an agreement mutually consented to are supposed to an respected until they are revised or annuled. It therefore follows that if 1% was the agreed commission, no infraction has been commited whether we are looking at 8.6 or 25bn drawn against 1.5 or 2.5tn respectively. Methinks, the outcry is particularlyaimed at questioning the morality of earning such 'easy' money and an urgent need to review the deal or end since the CBN now says it has developed a similar application. Let's give credit to all parties involved; we sure are making progress. Buh, let the probe continue! |
This guy's numerical aptitude must have some very serious deficiency. Is this disclosure an attempt at preparing the ground to defraud the country vide some form of welfare package or the actual deceased officers were so polygamous that they had an average 10 wives? This man should be watched closely. |
TonyeBarcanista:You quite seem to have a template for running a 'model' government, as such I would like to leave you with an advice: start your political career and see how many lifetime it would take for you to become the president of Nigeria. Seriously, I'm at a loss as to what could be motivating you into being so mischievous to the point of being an absolute nuisance. Haba? If dem say person go die, e go just die? Those folks weren't wrong when they predicted that you'd come with yet another piece of crap. |
We may not make much progress as a country if the judiciary is not urgently reformed. |
magaliyu:In the light of the fact that PMB and his APC cannot point to anything tangible as their achievement this far, I eagerly await that announcement and for me that would cover a multitude of 'sins'. So much for welfarism. Thankfully, low crude oil prices still present us an opportunity to break away from the shackles of subsidy payments and its unnecessary drag on the resources and progress of our country. |
You won't be helping him if you feed him each time he engages in his act of irresponsibility. By the time he develops some health conditions after his willful longsuffering, he would review his financial commitments to his church, especially when he would painfully realise that most churches offers no succour to stranded members. |
BALLOSKI:Exactly my thoughts! When i see folks hyperventilating over an happening that could be easily deconstructed if a little critical thinking is applied, I feel ashamed for the bunch of grown babies that are constituting themselves into a nuisance on this board. The best that could have happened in a 10 mins meeting of this kind, after exchange of pleasantries, is that a party makes a request which was declined or one goes to submit some kind of report. |
CosmeticChemist:Sorry I may have to bother you, please do you know of someone that could help with tutorials on how to make adhesive gums for shoemaking? Or you could help with resources that could aid in a do-it-yourself. Thanks |
PapiDShipCapt:Verily verily I say unto you, flesh and blood did not reveal this to you! |
Firefire:As a supporter of the APC, though not quite impressed so far, I have elected to be careful about condemning their performance. When I consider the bile with which your gang make blanket condemnation, I feel pains for the kind of vile critics you folks are. For me, until such a time when you can use the average revenue per bbl of crude oil at $108 as yardstick to benchmark the performances of GEJ and PMB, then you don't have a basis for comparison. |
