I would have thought it very incredible that someone would wilfully walk into a mine like you are about to. But, having not too long ago walked from such entanglement with its very toxic complications and with my elder brother saddlled with such cross, I am inclined to advice you. Pls flee from all appearance of evil, including adopting and be a 'father' to four kids that ain't yours. If you already have yours prior to this, you may very soon have to deal with a family crisis and its attendant effects that would have been easily avoided. Love would not be sufficient to help you on the long run. However, I have a very distasteful comment about her extreme show of love now that she's divorced: it's a bait! |
All fair, APC! Buhari, for me, has served his purpose and, sadly, outlived his usefulness. It is his constitutional and guaranteed right to seek re-election, while I have mine to choose whom I want. Given the circumstances of 2015, I have no regrets voting him, but to have conspiratorially maintained silence with the wanton killings by herdsmen; spent up to a third of a year on medical vacation; to have shown little creativity with managing the economy and making absolutely no headway in the fight against official graft, I can't wait to see his back. Fortunately, I have a little more people to influence now so it's all good. Wish Buhari and APC the best in their rulership. |
UnknownT:High time you know that the era where people delivered their constituencies was when malpractices were widespread. If the bulk of the people in his constituency are sufficiently. enlightened, is there any way he can. force his party on them, in a fairly conducted election? These guys and their type, is grossly overrated. Nonetheless, the government just has to patronize some folks in other to reach their people. |
Are we supposed to value his life higher than he does? Truth be told: whoever thinks he can't be dispensed with should wait until the judgement day to know if the job with whose workload he killed himself stayed undone after his demise. Affairs in the country, often times, saddens me and I care less if a man that is not making any meaningful impact decides to kill himself with the workload of managing a complex country with fragile health because he is goaded on by a cabal that is as selfish as himself. |
BreezyCB:You made me laugh by suggesting protection for Efe's family. While you may sound correct, Warri protects its own especially the ones it contributed in empowering. I trust Warri to shield Efe and Efe's from harm. For matters of protection, Efe mata na Warri mata and Warri no dey fall hands. |
a mighty congratulations to a junior tribesman and a representative of the Warri brand. when Tboss, my favorite housemate was evicted, it became clear Efe would coast to victory. all neighborhoods in Warri and Urhoboland are agog with celebrations. respect to all fans of the "based on logistics"brand. una wehdone Sir! |
I would tag with your nomination: Chukwuemeka Chikelu, for me, dwarfs all others in delivery. |
This provides real justification for the losses suffered by those gamblers who were made toast by MMM and other Ponzis. And they said........."after all, something must kill a man!" |
DDeliverer:You got me laughing mehn! Even children are quite criminally smart these days. Had a similar experience way back at the Choba Campus of Uniport. Wanted to get fruits at the gate one sunny afternoon, from my Hall of Residence when I saw two boys (the elder could not have been more than 9 years old) crying close to an area they claimed they tripped and burst almost all the satchet of pure water they were supposed to go sell. Moved by their tears, I did a count and paid for all their loss and asked them to go restock if they wished. Surprisingly, on my way back, about 10 mins later, at the same spot, I saw them again putting up same sham. Fortunately for them, they recognized me from a distance and bolted before I could reach them. I was really shocked! Sad thing is, with a horde of professional beggars littering our public space, it becomes pretty difficult to good to all manner of people as the Bible admonishes. Na Lagos you want talk about, you go fear levels for begging! |
temmy6996:Their advert looks more like one by some Corporate Assassins. |
BigIyanga:His Law degree was procured from the Black Market. |
To the Op, opinions like this won't help those that got/ would get screwed from taking responsibility for a faulty decision which they absolutely took. While the bubble lasted, testaments were made to the fact that the cashouts a lot of them loafers have drawn was enough to hedge their trapped stakes in the case of a crash! Having regard to that, there won't be a reason to apportion blames. Having lost money to both real and amorphous investments like the MMM, I only challenged a friend that wanted me to enjoy from the pie to analyze the ponzi's cash sustainability, which he couldn't. Of course, I thanked him and wished loads of luck with his gamble and to quite frank, though I see him from time to time, I can't console him and don't have the time to. After his grief, we can only talk about the lessons learnt over some bottles of beer. Allow people to learn lessons from bad experiences so they can subsequently be quite critical and better analytical when it comes to making a drive for multiple streams of income. Nonetheless, congratulations to all those who wouldn't be caught in the burst. To be candid, I never knew how crazy people were about MMM until I saw a fmr colleague on a dp with another fellow whose agbada was 'crested' with MMM. |

Don't politicians and technocrats manning positions of trust ever get tired of complaining of the drop in the price of crude? Buhari has refused to get to work because he says past corrupt people brought us into this mess, yet I feel they are all liars! Pray tell, what has the reforms in the NNPC Customs, FIRS, NPA, NIMASA, Immigration etc achieved if revenues keep plunging. It may seem adequate to postulate that we have new set of thieves funneling the hitherto stolen funds from all revenue generating agencies to the pockets of the "saints". I feel honestly sorry for my country as it stays bugged down with the leadership of a fellow that has no space in his brain for creative thinking. |
LordGuru1:Sorry bro, I don't have the video. Wouldn't go near such scenes! As per the location? It's in an urhobo speaking area of Delta State. |
Seun:Two Sundays back, while on my way to church, I encountered a growing group of people watching and videoing a young lady perched on the roof of a furniture workshop, clad in only wrapper. she ran out of fuel on her return journey from the coven and had to do an emergency landing. Then again was the story of a young man that qualified as a lawyer but was totally messed up with a bewitched habit of drinking ogogoro. Heard the witch tied an imaginary 20 lits keg on his neck which he must consume daily to reach his threshold. That's how he became a drunk, sleeping in gutters after irresponsible drinking till he got delivered. The witch confessed and died and the guy has been reset to normal. If you are African and is not assured of a fellowship with God, please change that view. Witches exists; they are grossly sadistic and gravely dangerous. They would mess you up for a long time, until help comes, if you wilfully or ignorantly go into battle with them. Just cane your line bruv. Witchcraft is as real as day and night, in Africa. |
Here today,..... Gone tomorrow! May God teach is to number our days. Quite heart warming that he made his mark as a fine soldier. God grant his soul eternal rest, Amin. |
Tolexander:I laughed at the mention of a crown weighing 100Kg. What does the Ooni himself weigh to carry two bags of cement on his head. It could be spiritual weight sha! |
soberdrunk:By the success of his preferred candidate, he has secured a pass in the Sanctuary of the 'All Progressive Congressmen of Saints' |
acunon:i have mentioned you previously on tv's i'd need to start a viewing centre. i'd like to deal now. pls do kindly drop your number so i can call to get your offerings and close this business quick enough |
Op, I commiserate with you on your plight bit I would have to be clear on something: do you have 240 staff working at the contact centre? on a single shift? How many staff does GT bank have at its HQ? You see, until you can develop the guts to swim or sink on your own, through self employment, learn not to ask private employers to treat you on your own terms. |
Agree with sex being some of spiritual bonding, but question is: who do you pray to when you're to have sex with a boyfriend or girlfriend in breach of the commandment of God? On a lighter note, does this advice extend to prostitutes as well? |
For all the revelations made in the case preferred against Obanikoro and Fayose so far, I have a simple prayer this morning: God grant me wisdom in dealing with avowed enemies! These guys seem ready to toast these two egbon anyway you look at it . Nonetheless, kudos to the EFCC. |
By now, these fools should have been aware of the ineffectiveness of their threats: it doesn't draw sympathy; it doesn't move the authorities and it is stale already. The last time some bunch of Supreme Asawana idiots, who claimed to be deadlier than NDA and taking over from the NDA served notice about bombing the Niger Bridge, the 3rd Mainland Bridge amongst others, on the 3rd July but went MIA. We await them! At least the government of Delta State has now served notice of its inability to pay salaries, while Bayelsa is now a bross in Igbese. Bomb, and don't stop bombing. The roof is sure going to collapse on all of us. |
I never lose a bet that involves predicting the reactions of our Israelites to crimes involving one of their own. Oduah reacted a few days back and didn't make this disclosure. Here we have SEAIL with this position. Next, Ohanaeze Ndigbo would issue a press release alleging victimization, while the World Igbo Youth Movement would issue a 7-day ultimatum for all investigations to be stopped. Should the case ever get to court, all her village people would appear in uniforms led by their traditional ruler, to protest the witch-hunt of their deserving daughter! Something so so amazingly unique about the character configuration of the bulk of the south (b)easterners. |
what I am seeing pleases my eyes! |
Reporting for duty. |
Don't I find this news particularly hilarious? Metuh my man! He now knows, firsthand, about wealth accumulated through fraud, that later feels like gravel in the mouth (according to the bible). Good one nonetheless, except that he should have spared us the funds and the time used for his prosecution so far, while also saving himself the humiliation he received while the show lasted. |
Ugonnax:You suck, mehn! Does it not bother you that you use quite a bunch of useful energy to make this kind of vile postulation? While Fayose has established himself as mentally unstable and irredeemably daft, must you complicate it with your stupidity? Firstly, she has to go to the US to establish her innocence; then you realise belatedly that she may be travelling under diplomatic immunity; and now daft you is asking why she didn't go with her husband on the three previous occasions he's had to go there and saying they may have lobbied now that she's been speculated to visit. Guy, you are not making good use of your free time, if idiocy is all you peddle at your leisure time. Change! |
KingOvoramwen1:Okay. I thought I was trying to educate someone who wishes to end his blissful ignorance. It does appear you are already cast in your unteachable ways. |

Delta State, sir. |
KingOvoramwen1:Okagbare is an Urhobo name meaning 'all is present/represented'. I think she's from Sapele. |
