PoliticsRe: APC To Release Documentary On Alleged Gay Sex In Aso Rock by coldFLARES1(m): 12:41am On Mar 12, 2015
senier007:
I don't believe in repaying bad thing with worst, but, if the allegation is true or for character assassination then I think the party should always put the country first above personal vendetta lest they want to be seen as the new phase of metamorphosed PDP ortherwise they should allow the masses to fight for them at the poll, and to also clear their names in any competent court at same time demanding fine to serve as a deterrence. But FFK looks scared and behaving as the new phase of exhausted and lame opposition.
Please bear in mind that an unquantifiable damage has been done to the goodwill enjoyed by Buhari and Tinubu by those malicious documentaries, especially those with scanty education, lack of access to the internet and those incapable of logical reasoning and rational analysis. Tragedy is, this population is significant and these folks have the same one vote as you and me! This got messy when AIT refused to stop airing the damaging documentary. For me, if APC has evidences, they should widely circulate it and cause a great harm to the presidency not minding its implication for national security. Once they get even, then they can go back to issue-based campaigning.

bro, that aint possible. Only Jonathan gives such kind of fraudulent assurances. Nonetheless, here is a man that displays no ambivalence about his vows to punish corruption and plug wastage; he promises greater transparency than these cult of looters and he has a pool of comparatively selfless patriots ready to offer their services to this urgent task of national redemption. He deserves a chance. Please, let's make it happen.

Its a shame that Buhari who truncated Shagari's duly elected govt, now goes cap in hand to beg same Shagari to support him. The evil that men do lives after them.

A personal visit to convey a hearty felicitition to an elder statesman on his 90th birthday is not analogous to going begging - cap in hand. Agreed, they may not roll as buddies but the passage of time should have healed the wounds. Can this equate with the shamelessness of Jonathan who muscled Sanusi out of his job less than a year ago and still went to same man to prostrate a while ago because he needed support?

PoliticsRe: INEC Card Reader Is A Fraud, It Will Mar March 28 Polls - Fayose by coldFLARES1(m): 11:12pm On Mar 08, 2015
One would expect Fayose to give us feedback of the success or failure of the SCR from the test-accreditation done in his state, but here he is principally pre-occupying himself with Metuh's brief.

I find it laughable that a voter accreditation turnover of up to 2 persons per min is less preferred to 5min/voter using the hard copy register. No doubt these folks have something they are not telling us.

If Fayose says the SCR can be manipulated, he should simply bring forward his expert to demonstrate it so as to drive home his points. Does Fayose not know that the trial-run was to identify shortcomings with a view to resolving them before the D-Day? Guess, I can now see why some politicians commission bandits to steal PVCs from INEC offices while buying from poor owners, the ones they could not steal.

Please Fayose should allow us have an election that can stand an integrity test. This is one thing that can forestall post-election violence.

...And while he allows Jega and his team work on resolving the anomalies and delivering a credible and fair elections, he can proceed with sponsoring more death wish adverts and stalking GMB while his party can go on with releasing more defamatory documentaries on opposition politician while FFK can be holding more press conferences to give us evidences why APC should be held for every thing that is not right with Jonathan's style or Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: APC, PDP, Civil Society, INEC Disagreed Over Card Reader Performance In Kano by coldFLARES1(m): 7:17pm On Mar 07, 2015
My take? 40 percent failure rate is statistically significant and efforts should be channelled to correcting the anomalies.

Then again, what about those that had those finger paintings when they registered? Was theirs rejected as well?

And was it established that cleaning the finger paintings made it the fingerprints of a majority of those affected to be accepted?

If no, a more acceptable solution should be worked on and agreed before the elections.

As for the efficiency of the card readers, it is fine because the manual process, in 2011,in my estimation, was like 5mins for the accreditation per voter. Of course, only a simpleton does not know how the average voter turnout in the SS and SE was avg 90 percent.

I think, we need to educate ourselves first before making comments. Are there elements of truth in the documentary the answer is yes and rather than the people screaming to high heaven of the rape, injustice and crime committed by Tinubu we go around supporting him. Hate truly blinds. Apc supporters have allowed politics to block their reasoning and they say foolish things. If Buhari brings Nepa bill as certificate we will vote for him; now it's Tinubu despite the damaging revelation these supporters don't have the decency to call a spade a spade. Tomorrow, the same people will have the temerity to complain of bad governance. What a shame!!!! The People get the kind of leaders they deserve. I pity the youth; destroyed by lack of quality education they lack the ability for rational reasoning.
On the contrary, it shows rationality not to be spontaneously frenzied by a smear campaign commissioned by an amorphous entity. One wonders where the appropriate place is to make such statements. By this suit, the sponsors have a chance to provide facts and evidences to justify the grandstanding by AIT when they were asked to retract and apologise. In all, APC supporters are most rational and haven't disappointed. This is a test case, so let the fireworks begin!
PoliticsRe: APC Has Sinister Agenda With Card Reader - Fayose by coldFLARES1(m): 5:53pm On Mar 06, 2015

JEGA has been compromised by apc. Obj is their god father. The card reader is aimed at disenfranchising voters in pdp /Jonathan friendly states. I am an insider that is what jega briefed his commissioners and those trained to handle d machine. JEGA should immediately proceed on terminal leave
Mr insider, it would suffice if you can educate us on how the card readers are supposed to discriminately disenfranchise people from PDP/Jonathan friendly states?

Do you have minutes of the meeting in which Jega foolishly briefed his commissioners to implement such? If no, in what capacity are you an insider?

I thought training of adhoc staff is decentralized? How come you are alluding to the fact that Jega debriefed Card Reader operators on the need to commit fraud against the PDP.

You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself for using partisanship to clandestinely call for the sustenance of a process that does not deliver on remarkable integrity.

You made a mistake... I think you meant "jailed". I realize "h" and "j" are next to each other on the keyboard so I understand your mistake.

They let this evil fester for years and now are springing into action because of election, that's worse evil than what Boko Haram has been doing.
Jonathan deserves no less treatment than an elongated jail term at the Hagues for abdicating his responsibility for the security of citizens, and being criminally complicit in the death of over 13000 citizens during the reign of the Boko Haram terror.

To further insult our sensibilities, he connived with his party, appendage parties, security forces to plot a coup on our electoral system by forcing a rescheduling of elections so they can make political capital from a violence they have stoked and deliberately allowed to fester.

Kontunu, we shall adequately brief our incumbent coming president, as Mama Piss would say it
PoliticsRe: 2015: Results From Benue Will Shock Jonathan - opinion by coldFLARES1(m): 3:07pm On Mar 06, 2015
capricon:
Let me tell you why you wrong. From history people vote based on sentiments and not perfomance

For example what did obasanjo do for the south east? Yet he was voted in TWICE from that zone

Jonathan, a political neophyte trounced buhari.

Jonathan will win though with a slim margin only because buhari and ribadu votes will be merged together from last time to shore up buhari votes this time

Jonathan will win whether he did something or not.
I may have to disagree with you. The most likely consequence of having a non-perfoming 'brother' run in an election as an incumbent is aparthy and not sentiments. His people would be totally indifferent whether he wins or loses.

However, loopholes in the electoral system have given politicians the leverage to commit fraud and make it seem like it is possible to be a failure yet to be overwheming loved by your people. As a matter of fact, politicians simply connive with electoral officials to either totally deny some people of their right to vote on election day or simply use up unused ballot paper.

For instance, check the rate of collection of PVCs in Bayelsa and tell me if the president's kinsmen are quite keen about his re-election. It is following from this that you can situate PDP's agitation for non-accreditation using the Card Readers and a call to accommodate the use of TVCs so that they can replicate their fraud of a 90 percent voter turn-out in the SE and SS and justify the kind of postulation you make.

Personally, I only desire the process to leave very little room for manipulations so we can have an election that is substancially credible, free and fair. But make no mistakes, I am for Buhari all the way!

ROSSIKE:
Stop using this 'national carrier' line as your excuse. Most countries do NOT have a ''national carrier'' but rather, operate privately run airlines, which are still considered by their nationals as their respective nations' airlines, and loved/patronised as such. An airline does not need to have 'govt' stamped all over it before you consider it your nation's airline. Virgin is not a 'national carrier' of Britain. But if David Cameron were to fly to Nigeria he wouldn't use Arik where he could use Virgin, and if he used Arik, he'd be crucified by the British press and public for promoting foreign businesses over British firms.
Why are you blabbing like you got a contract to kill Buhari through Arik?

This is the type of news those dimwitted gangs that gatecrashed into power are waiting for. A feel-good 'story for the gods'.

Tomorrow, I expect Metuh and FFK to call separate world press conference to tell us how our Jesus Christ made this possible.

I expect Jonathan, at the next presidential media chat, to emphasise how he used technology to hack into the ingenuity that brought this 'achievement'.

I expect Mama Piss, in her next campaign stop to tell us how only a digital hubby that was clicking away on a computer that was switched off, during a commissioning, could make this halleluyah achievement possible.

I expect the PDP to say it's a gain from the 'transformasonal azenda' of Mr President when the naira is battered against major currencies.

I expect retards on NL to chant GEJ till ....

..And I expect bloomberg to retract this trash because reasonable people see a parallel between their assertion and the reality that stares us all.

I'd appreciate if the PDP sticks with issues and I am quite happy with the question about the tenability or sustanability of the free education, free meals, free medicare for a category of citizens and the 5k monthly stipend for a category of the unemployed.

Then Metuh screwed up again when he started bumbling things up like the connivance with INEC staff, depolying hitech to hack INEC data base, sponsoring violence and related craps. The DSS is PDPs security wing and they've thoroughly embarrassed themselves conjuring allegations to taint the APC so Mr Metuh should stop the lies except he is suffering some brain disconnect.

Hope the APC dignifies Metuh with a response though I think it is not the likes of Metuh that should be schooled on how such tall ambitions could be realised.
PoliticsRe: Olorunsogo Power Plant Commisioned By Jonathan Is Not Working - Bukola Saraki by coldFLARES1(m): 7:36pm On Feb 25, 2015
doctokwus:
I would honestly be surprised if that plant is actually working. The commissioning had all the hallmarks of a something done to win public votes.
Meanwhile while people are investigating the power plants, cud they also snoop around the naval dockyards to know if those naval ships commissioned have left the yards since then.
I smell scam written all over both commissionings till proven otherwise.
Bros, it saddens the heart that we have quite a number of people here who have taken leave of their senses. Apparently, they have been positioned to crowd out dispassionate discussants. They attack the messenger and ultimately mislead others into jettisoning the message. Here them calling Saraki names while the whole allegations of a fraudulent commissioning is made light. There's a good thing about love: it hardly finds fault or take account of wrongs, consequently I can understand why these raving fans of supporters would cheer their principal into masterminding and superintendent over more scams.

I agree with with you on the suspicion of the trappings of scam in the CCGT Olorunshogo II Power Plant. Firstly, a distinction has to be made between test-running an installation and a commissioning. A commissioning comes after a test-run and certifies that the project could start running as a business concern. Before, a CCGT is commissioned, issues of a Gas Sales/Purchase Agreement/Contract and a Power supply contract must have been sorted. Whereas, we keep hearing of a gas supply inadequacy all the time, I would be surprised if the gas trunkline has been laid to that facility not to talk of a GSPA.

A simple verification could be made: the production superintendent should just avail the public a screenshots of gas supplied at their metering station a week prior to the commissioning and the period following the commissioning so we can know who the jokers are? People talk of a verification by NTA as evidence that the plant is working as if we have forgotten the super-swindle in Rivers during Odili's term where a power project was powered with generator on its commissioning.

A manifestation of the PDPs desperation is coming in torrents that you tend to lose count of the scams they've pulled on Nigerians. Here's my submission: in the absence of a reliable data of gas supply to the plant as well as generation output from its operation, it is very likely those gas turbines were just test-run while the power people saw either came from the Phase I or a generator.
