This release deflects the issues raised by Soludo. FFk shouldn't hastily come to insult but must take the time to get input fro Jonathan that has outsourced his roles; NOI that is the coordinating minster of the economy. For those that do not know, is it not laughable that a routine exercise like rebasing of GDP is an acievement of the PDP. Is it not most unfortunate that Jonathan claims to be better than his predecessors when his administration got an average price per barrel of crude which was twice Obj's; got more average daily production but has failed to grow our external reserves, defend our currency against the free-fall it's currently in, save anything in the excess crude account, keeps mounting local and foreign debts when Obj secured us debt forgiveness. If we could rise above the propaganda peddled by the PDP, we shall know that the PDP has to be dumped by all means possible. |
Yes... We want a free and fair election. PVC must get to the intended owners. Until PVC are properly distributed, i favor postponement of the election. Just sit down there and keep typing. Those convinced of their choice of candidates and made the sacrifice of going to the INEC office at the HQtrs of the LGA where they registered; some others have gone a step further to complete necessary applications to relocate their polling units while someone like me would still make the sacrifice of travelling some hundreds kilometer to vote because I don't want GEJ/PDP. Keep reading/analyzing the statistics while you wait for your PVC to be couriered to your address |
Back then, I had a strong liking for Agbaje. Buh, when I read stuff like this, Fayose comes to mind. Lagos would be chastised with scorpions if they make the mistake for pedestrian acts like paying for a meal at the canteen. |
Thetruth2015:You are sooooooo pathetic! So that is now the issue? Why not save yourself the stress and release the proof as well. Furthermore, you can push for the prosecution of Buhari for receiving 'goodwiil donation' from the father of a failed bomber. We just have too many idiots distracting us already |
Joke, right? |
benarex:To allay your fears, it's imperative to remind you that a lion leading a flock of sheep would defeat a pride of lions led by a sheep. The leadership makes all the difference. Jonathan no follow at all at all. Even if you are not convinced with the headship a Buhari would offer, let's together wrest power from the current gand led by GEJ/PDP and deliver it to GMB to stamp the supremacy of the people/electorate and dare those militants to do their worst. |
Please for those that are undecided, let's dare these thieves and vote out Jonathan. This gang think say na only them sabi juju. We go all get the fortification and end this nonsense once and for all. Now that it is apparent that their patronage would be truncated, they want to threaten the rest of us. How many dem be? Dem no reach! |
OrlandoOwoh:And a 52yr old sibling died a week later |
jiggalo:Sorry about the insults. I just feel pained that the raving crowd of GEJ supporters are insisting we pay attention to the shadow and forget the substance. It's sooo unfair how this contest is degenerating as a consequence of that |
jiggalo:It would serve my conscience to educate you a bit from the little I could pick up from your gibberish, having fought the urge to make your obvious lack of education pass. In an electoral contest within a political party, members who feel qualified are encouraged to express their intent and pick up nomination forms, following which they are screened and made to go through the party primaries. Five candidates vied for the presidency in the APC in a fair and transparent contest from which GMB emerged. Buhari wasn't thrust on APC and you need to understand that he beat younger contestants like Sam Nda Isaiah, Rochas Okorocha, Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso and Atiku Abubakar to emerge candidate. How you can wish for a Fashola or an Amaechi that did not buy forms beats me. Your duty is to stick with Jonathan since he appears the best of the 10 candidates in the presidential ballot, to you, and stop the mudsling and name-calling. As a citizen, I would vote my choice and accept the choice of the majority in a free, fair and credible contest. When PDP said GMB is the easiest opponent they can be gifted by the APC, I thought they would just go to sleep and come back on the 15th Feb to claim the presidency but how mistaken I am. We have seen a re-definition of issue based campaigning now laced with a clandestine call/plot for the postponement of the polls. As for Fayose, Ekiti people have gotten what they deserve. He should be cheered on. Certainly, when the heavens fall, it shall be on all of us. No shakes! |
obinnaifeoma:Advocating and effecting a change comes with an outstanding advantage: that a ruling party would be aware that its contract with Nigerians can only be extended after scaling a test of verifiable performances. Does it not make u sick to see a party thumb their chests assuring a 'conquered' people that they would rule for 50 years, and them proceed to coronate clowns as flagbearers? Talking about the desired change, I am aware that all achievements have gestation periods, as such we shall be guided as such when making our terminal assessments, but on the interim we just have to throw out these group of bandits that have gatecrashed into power. |
noblealuu:My brother, the convenient name to call whoever doesn't support you is 'opposition'. Don't u consider GEJ a man lacking in shame to make campaign rounds to the north, especially the NE? This man presided and abdicated his responsibility while more than 13,000 of their kiths and kins were slaughtered yet Metuh added insult to it when he said the BH were restricted that area, otherwise they would captured half of the country. Pray a member of your family experiences violent death so you can understand their grievances. On my honour, there are two things I would not do if I was the president: firstly, pay a courtesy call on the emir of Kano (the man who wanted to spoil the technology I am using to fight corruption) and secondly, go anywhere near the NE to campaign since they are now sacrificed to maintain the rest of Nigeria's territorial integrity by a rampaging BH |
In an election, as in war, all is fair! 2011, I was studying at Port Harcourt and voted there. Overall, the voter turn-out shouldn't come up to 60 percent, but the PDP made sure they used up all ballots and that was why a voter turn-out of over 85% was recorded in the SE and SS, and of course the results were upheld. APC should ensure such feat is replicated and deliver a crushing defeat to the PDP in its strongholds, anything less than this would be unacceptable to good conscience. Meantime, for all of us on the change wagon in areas dominated by the PDP, let's make it happen by getting our PVCs and exercising our franchise so there would be one less for those shameless bandits to use for their advantage. Imagine the insults! So they made BH fester so they could shortchange the NE politically? Thank God e no work |
sincerenigerian:To qualify to study Zoology (now Animal and Environmental Biology) in UNIPORT you must have an F9 in Maths. And to have come from an educationally less advantaged state, the president's result go cause APPoLLo. That's why my PhD is not coherent and articulate. But, no denying the fact that God blessed him exceedingly |
Add Sokoto and Rivers State make e clear. All strategy has to be employed in the coming elections. If citizens in opposition stronghold are not killed by terrorism, then they have to be scared from exercising their franchise |
mrofficial:Aside that, what makes you think it wasn't staged by the PDP to draw sympathy, these brethren have 21.8bn Naira to draw from. They have promised to revise the strategy of their issue-based campaign you know. On the other hand, some aggrieved guber contestants may be getting back at them for their wayo wayo primaries, afterall they said Pwajok was returning from the 'well attended' mother of all rally held by the PDP in Lagos |
manutdadex:You may be excused if you think the FG represented by JEG is not complicit in all these. One hare-brained nonentity has dragged a huge number to an untimely death and u have a president who has said terrorism is everywhere in the world, maybe this is our turn. a man that would fight terrorism by a decree from the church or through wishful thinking just as he has outperformed previous administrations in the fight against corruption by an hogwash 'technology' that only him understands. The earlier you realise that it does not serve GMB's political advantage to kill a mass of people critical to realising his ambition, then you can begin to share the grief of the families that have lost loved ones and are still losing them. Your president could commiserate with the french people on the death of just 12 people whereas lives means nothing here as his purposelessness keeps decimating the population of a region. |
Louislewis:Very laudable achievements. I would need you to update this long list with some comments: costs of the project; addresses for the ones that do not have addresses; tell us if they are completed or on-going; if on-going, whether contractors have been fully mobilized to state them as achievement. Finally, tell us how much the government have raked in from revenue sources in the six-year period our fantastic president has been in power and I quit supporting Buhari |
iamrahoof:The little girl replied the Nigerian president took my school bag Una no go kee person fa. Smartest indeed! Now he is using 'technology' to fight corruption, the technology that was programmed to make Diezani obtain a perpetual injunction restraining the NASS from summoning her to give account; the technology that empowered the minister for interior to scam over 500,000 job seekers of 1000 naira each and organize a sham recruitment test that led to the death of over 15 in a stampede at various venues; the technology that provided a soft landing for Stella Oduah after a procurement scam involving using 255 million naira to buy two bullet proof BMW cars, and ultimately rewarding her with a senatorial ticket in Anambra . A smart guy wen dey abuse person say im no know in fone number whereas im go commission cyber cafe and dey use mouse dey click computer wen dem no even switch on. this joke is such an apt description of our man! |
I accept the inalienable rights of citizens to freely elect their leaders, but just one thing do i wish for: may the desires and expression of the greater majority of the citizenry for a change in leadership be translated to reality no matter the bumps put on the way by the current gang of renegades and their cheerleaders. Mo FeBuhari 2015 |
hotwax:My brother, it grieves the heart that his raving fans have shut their faculties to logical and sensible inferences. This man keeps killing civilians as well as soldiers in the NE thru his BH to gain political advantage, yet some numbskulls will eternally express outrage over 11 or so corps members that unfortunately lost their lives in the violence that trailed the 2011 presidential polls. For heavens sake, more than 13,000 people (including corpers, undergraduates, farmers, businessmen and women, security agents) have died because of the indecisiveness of the president, yet they want to pull wool over our eyes by pointing in the direction of a man and a party they love to hate. |
Jonathan's campaign is to first time voters because they are impressionable! If this man is moved about to just raise his hands, smile and dance without saying anything during his campaigns, it would serve his party better. He no dey try at all! Oluwa e ma saanu wa? |
Na now day break? You anytime dem talk e be like say dem think say we be imbeciles. If oga and him spokemen no talk dem go appear sensible, than open their mouths evritime dey gbagaun. When u wan list achievements, start with average price per bbl of crude;average daily production; revenue generated from other sources; inherited debt; current debt position; scams recorded; savings; relative succes at providing for the welfare and security of citizens; respect for the rule of law;then verifiable achievements with associated costs. Whether from church or villa, all these yarns dey tire person. |
MadCow1:Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. Congratulations bruv. Everything has to be done to sack the gang that is asking us to brace for more austere conditions when their budget for feeding (drawn from our dwindling commonwealth) keeps an onward northward journey |
kayalla:Unfortunately, the old soldier did not foist himself on us like another brother did (arm-twisting all strong contenders by subtle maneuvering while denying a final two that bought their forms as having less electoral capital). He made himself available alongside four other strong contenders in a open, free, fair and credible contest and was the preferred candidate. Talking about death, it is not in anyone's power to control: on Sunday, the younger sister of the president, 52, died while my granny who's over 100 is still fine. If GMB does not appeal to you, and you're equally fed up with the PDP, some other 8 political parties have younger candidates you can choose from. Please get your PVC and make a statement, about the change you desire, with it on Feb 14. God bless you |
Because so damning a revelation was made by a source you cannot disclose, shame on The Leadership newspapers! But to say Mbaka was nudged by the hierachy of the Catholic Church to lie about a 'revelation' from the Holy Spirit shows how much the campaign team of the PDP seeks to amplify the things that divide us. This is just totally unacceptable. How many Catholics would you win to your side by disparaging their church? Anyways, all's fair in a war. May the PDP continue to make mistakes that will deplete their followership and sway undecided voters to queue behind 'CHANGE' |
Ambrogio:Do accept the assurances of my highest regard, monsieur. Some guys are just so incapable of critical thinking or rational analysis. |
pobosky20:The uproar this whole saga is generating saddens me. Honestly, i find it hard to believe that the army would keep the original of personnels' certs. My father is a 63 N/A who was recruited during the civil war without a care for the certs. Later in the mid 80s he sat for GCE and submitted same for promotion, i guess. Popsie still has his certificate even if he made copies for purpose of applying for promotion. That way, I would concur that the original copies cannot be with the military, however, can't the photocopy be verified? It sure has the year the exam was taken as well as a candidate number on it,abi? I'd be so very disappointed if, assuming Buhari joined the army without the requisite qualifications, he still failed to upgrade to have the minimum requirement he progressed in his career. Waiting for this to be sorted out, GMB is still my man! |
Still appears to me that somebody's 'holy communion' is mixed with conc ogogoro. Another declaration from the church! I'm the religious bigot! Shioor |
So this is politics abi? I can see part of the campaign war chests deployed already. I simply give up! This 'issue-based campaigns' redefined portends grave danger, and those that predicted that there may not be elections may be proven right eventually. |
I cannot imagine these folks in the PDP would condescend to this base level. They asked for an issue-based campaigns and have resorted to threats, blackmail and mudsling. One would expect them to present an impressive scorecard after almost 7years, but, rather they would tell us to vote the devil we know than the angel we don't know. They would go to church to whip up sentiments bothering on religion;they would accuse opposition politicians of making inflammatory comments when their goons issue threats without caution; did Amaechi say the APC would form a parallel govt or he said they would form one if the elections are rigged. I have an advise for the APC: ensure that voter turn out in your areas of strength is at least 90 percent and make sure you get an average of 95 percent in each of those states like the PDP did in the SS and SE in 2011 (they've shown it's possible, it just has to be replicated). As for the Police Affairs minister, I can understand how difficult a job can be when you are adjudged to be less- performing. |
Obinoscopy:Ordinarily, I won't join issues with you but it sucks to read your endless rejoinders that aims at achieving a misplaced indictment. I am no politician, even if I am a supporter of Buhari, and I respect the fact that an exercise of your franchise should be your discretion. I care less who you vote, but would only be pained if the majority chooses someone I do not favour. Afterall, Jonathan has done wonders! Just tone down your biases and we are cool. You mustn't stretch logic to get people to agree to your fabrications |
