Samunique:My brother, e no get who this statistics no go fear. I travelled over 700km to get my PVC in Warri and would make a return journey to vote Buhari. I actually found out that those that coordinate and distribute the PVCs are homeboys and you may be shocked to hear that I was asked to pay. The hausas don't do that, coupled with their high level political consciousness even if you may want to deride them as having a comparatively low literacy level. Question should be: what percentage of registered voters' PVCs have been released to states at the moment? This is because an owner may choose to go pick it up or may be unable due to relocation, death or indifference. This whole noise about the PVCs is because the SS/SE may not found a way to manipulate its integrity to produce a voter turn-out of over 80% like they did in the last elections, whereas other regions barely averaged 50%. So looking at the numbers and seeing its inadequacy to deliver the magic numbers that can substantially do the damage, the panic button is already depressed. Thankfully, the lessons learnt after all this season is over would not be lost on us all: that we need each other to succeed. But personal, I am very disappointed in GEJ (not surprised) for frittering the goodwill he got from Nigerians in 2011 and mis-judging the mood of the nation, in contesting in spite of declining popularity, and take us through this experience in a desperate bid to cover lost grounds. |
Mr Jonathan ain't clueless after all. He is a manipulative man filled with sinister intentions for this country. First, he fended off everybody with an intention to run against him, in his party and emerged as their consensus candidate; then DSS started acting his scripts; then the IGP; then the military authorities, when they started embarrassing GMB and now a threat that they would not provide security should the elections go on. Anyways, didn't the ruling in Sokoto declare that soldiers should not be deployed for the purpose of elections? I am actually waiting for the police and civil defence to issue their warning of non-availability should elections take place next week. |
Burger01:PVC is not the problem here, southerners often time act indifferent to matters of election: they won't register until you threaten them with some loss of opportunity as a consequence. The northerner on the other hand could make a great personal sacrifice to be part of the process, however lowly placed he is. PDP thought Nigerians could pardon the sins of Jonathan until they came face to face with reality during their campaign rounds. To make matters worse, the stats favour the opposition candidate and so everything has to be done: name calling, character assasination, threats of war, connivance of 'friendly' political parties etc. Interestingly, this whole postponement ish is not about the preparedness or lack of it by INEC. As a matter of fact, all logistical constrains can be taken care of with funds' availability. It has to be emphasized that Jonathan would lose even if it postponed by three months. Contrary to what they say, this option is to allow GEJ/PDP the time to get a judgement that would get GMB out of the way since a frendly judge has been enlisted and various contestations are already in court. Let the fireworks begin! |
Dem don do WAEC mercenary runs for credit be that |
raumdeuter:JONATHAN, Pathetically Highly Deficit (PhD) in Honour. Believe his promises at your own risk!! |
NgeneUkwenu:Just leave them, they just came to the realization that with all their 'education', they have the same one vote as the mai gadi, mai shayi, mai ruwa, mai nama etc, and so it is convenient to point at the stats and cry foul. When you justified Jonathan's dereliction of duty when citizens in the north were murdered in their thousands and millions displaced in 'peacetime;, you thought the aboki wasnt aware when he stays glued to his radio? When you sit in your houses and say there's already a winner and you refuse to be part of the process, now is the convenient time to point at the stats abi? When you stay in your house and expect your PVCs to be delivered to your door mouths while the northerners mobilized the ones you chose to call illiterates to collect theirs, it is now okay to cry foul abi? When it would be easier to declare a public holiday for the purpose of PVC collection, yet groups and individuals are mobilized to push for a postponement of the polls, na who una wan fool? While the best you can do is shout 'GEJ till forever' while the northerner that polishes your shoe would take the pain to join a Dogon Barrow back home to effect the change he wants, you still want to cry foul abi? I earnestly desire that the elections be fair and credible so that those that have lived in denial would be jolted back to reality. Make una manufacture the magic numbers of 2011 take win this time again na. U think say na to say a vote for Jonathan(the Jesus Christ of Nigeria) is a vote for God and e don finish abi? |
I have a proposition: AIT and all other organizations that have aborted their online polls should do a repeat so we can vote GEJ and boost his confidence so we can have our victory on the 14th. U guys have frozen this man's feet such that we now have a fresh trick for each new day to scuttle the planned elections. For those believing the 'I will do' president, hope una don see say this man is short on honour and much endowed in mischief? A few days back he said 14th was sacrosant, now all manners of stunts to defer the date. |
aslaaa:Recall, Soludo said for national security he wouldn't want to expose some revenue sources that are conduit pipes. However, you may wish to add earnings LNG investment, NSE and Securities and Exchange Commission, the Customs, Immigration to name a few. |
[te author=davies123 post=30411412]They have been hiding this for a while ...but their body languages has clearly shown they are in support of APC And as the election draws closer they have truely shown which party they are in support of *Check their adverts of recent especially after the AIT documentary came out *watch their interviews on sunrise daily to see how they antagonistic to non supporter of APC *They pretend to be neutral but like prostitutes who are called call girls that dont come and walk around the street This is my submission after watching their programs closely for a great while now
If it's for these reasons quoted, you are very hollow and utterly sadistic |
Una never jam wahala. Una go soon hear say 'No foreign reserve' |
specialguest:This is just a first step. They'd compromise polling officers that are willing to cooperate and coerce the ones that fail to tag along. My fears have always been the assurance of the PDP about winning even with declining popularity. This was exactly what played out in 2011 where a scandalous voter turn-out of over 80% was recorded in the SS and SE. If the APC thinks they can be guaranteed that a hungry fellow would reject 10k to get a promissory note of quality leadership from a Buhari presidency, then they would jolted by a pyrrhic victory of the PDP. The APC should as a matter of urgency, by whatever means, give PDP a dose of their medicine in ALL of their stongholds; replicate the kind of results obtained in the SS and SE in 2011; and let PDP go to court and remain there. So far, they don't seem to be prepared at all. PDP have already deployed stomach infrastructure around the country and would easily invite poor folks (the majority), to a feast on the 13th and a mobilization on the 14th and the rest would be history. |
daughterofzion:Buh, seriously, would you have expected INEC to bear the logistical costs associated with such transfers? I travelled close to 700km to get mine; made an application for a relocation of my polling unit after the window had closed, which was not granted; and would be travelling back to Warri to make the sacrifice of voting Buhari. It would help to put things in proper perspective so as not increase the discontent of some fellows that are still expecting their PVC to be delivered to their doorsteps. |
iiichidodo: I like u guy. At this rate, u fit use ur palms stop flood. Ever gallant. |
organic973:Bad guys! No to TVC na im Akpabio say im go use give Uncle Jonathan 1.6m votes? E go soon over una! |
Na everyday PDP dey use different fronts dey stunt? Would it not have been better if they delivered on governance, and win consequently, than amassing needless endorsements, insane diversions and desperate tactics? Who wouldn't feel sorry for them. E no easy to sell bad market |
agabaI23:If your verdict is to credit Mr Jonathan with a superior intellect, then you've disappointed. It's actually repulsive that a PhD holder like him could not chart a course for this country when harvest was bountiful but would shamelessly seek to manage our resources in times of scarcity. As a matter of fact, I know of only one PhD from UNIPORT, who Jonathan is better than though he is very much more intelligent than bros. We should know that a successful headship consists in assembling and coordinating men and materials, and that is where you should see the failure of a president that outsourced his roles to four women and is back to threaten us(using proxies) to retain his services else there'd be war. Buhari presents an option that is better than sticking with this man that is both wasteful and corrupt and should be given a chance. |
That one na student of Creative Engineering. U go fear! |
Game on! Give them rice make dem go hustle associated ingredients. Dem neva suffer reach |
mikeansy:It may shock you to know that Jonathan doesn't have a credit pass in Maths as well having studied Zoology and coming from the catchment area of the the UNIPORT. That aside, it beats me how u folks think that a dimwit would suddenly be superb because he has a PhD and is up against a supposedly WASC holder. Is Jonathan different from the man that said Nigeria is not poor because our citizens are Africa's highest number of private jet owners? Was it a different Jonathan that said $20b wasn't missing, because if it was America would know, since it's their currency? Was it mmy father that asked: how much did Jim Nwobodo STOLE to be jailed (with a PhD). Buhari's heavy accent would make us have a difficulty getting him but I can assure anyone that is not insane that he is some notches up, on the scale of intelligence, than our Jesus Christ with a PhD! |
Statements like this can only come from an assurance that the poor, who are a majority, have a low price. These fellas have a huge warchest! A friendly advise |
fritiyo:Selective amnesia is your problem in this matter. PDP attracted all contestants and their supporters all over Nigeria. Has TBS and the Teslim Balogun Stadium the same capacity? |
shadowgwalker:If you're yet to complete undergraduate studies, I'd excuse your irrationality but if you've evidence of a tertiary education or you are above 30, then you have a hopeless case. You're simply an adult rascal! |
shadowgwalker:You are horribly daft! Which assylum did you stray from? You think you are addressing your clansmen, who see you as a shining light? |
chuksmad:You may have to perish the thought of travelling. Firstly, you cannot use the PVC in your new location and lastly, the window for making an application for a relocation of polling unit has closed, except you wish to make the sacrifice of travelling back to vote, like moi. |
Who wouldn't sympathise with the AIT? After experiencing a bitter taste of public reaction, in the opinion poll, to the hatchet job they did for their patrons, the PDP why wouldn't they advance such gutter reason as their justification? They should be utterly ashamed that their voting platform lacked the integrity to withstand such manipulation/fraud. Need I remind someone that I had to rush to be a part when I read somewhere, in this forum, that the platform was designed to accomodate multiple votes for the PDP while the APC could only be voted for once? For those that beat AIT to their game, thumbs up! I would still re-echo my advice to the APC to deliver a crushing defeat to the PDP, by hook or crook, in a manner remiscent of the victory of the PDP in the SS and SE in 2011, in all its stronghold if the INEC delivers a poll whose credibility is in doubt. A precedence has been set, which has to be replicated. To be frank, I fear for the APC because it cannot afford to buy votes, judging from the high percentage of impoverished citizens: if someone could receive 2k to attend a rally all day, why would he/she fail to accept 5k to vote the PDP? These folks have made poverty fester so they could profit from it at a time like this. No assurances than this gives the PDP the confidence that they would win the presidential polls. Elections are war and should be prosecuted as such. That should be 70% of the mandate of the research and strategy unit of a campaign org, pre-election and during the elections, IMO. ![]() |
Thought there was no certificate? Thoguht I read that your paid agents are in court already? Which kain distraction be this nau? |
anonimi:Do kindly open a thread for this achievements. In your opening statement, do well to give us a breakdown of revenue and recurrent expenditure figures for the period under consideration; the value of the projects completed and the expenditure/mobilization already made on the ongoing ones. Meantime, I noticed Jonathan achieved a crude production of 2.5m bbl per day and we just saw NOI peddling a range of 1.95-2.24m bbls. Una no dey try at all |
mfm04622:This one is for the purpose of accountability: so u understate the volume and give a range of values to confuse peeps so as to protect the volumes that are stolen by 'stakeholders' |
FindOut:You know what? GEJ and NOI are base crooks that have presided over our commonwealth. It was convenvenient to give us average daily production figures for periods pre-Jonathan, but a range of values for the Jonathan locust years so as to pool wool over our eyes. What is the difficulty in telling us the average daily crude production since 2009 and the average price per bbl? How is it likely that more production was recorded in Obj's tenure when there was much production shut-in due to Force Majeure? No doubts, it would serve their interests go peddle a range of values so they can conceal the volumes they ferry away even after contracting ex-militants to be both our navy and civil defense. |
Trust Ibo men! Instead make one gang chew the endorsement patronage alone, dem go kuku blow d secretariat make everybody lose. Anything for d cheese! |
Feel so disgusted reading stuffs like this. Seems human life has become as worthless as a dung beetle in this country. Smh. Puleease don't tell me you just realised that a low value is attached to life here in Nigeria. Afterall your C-in-C could convey his condolences to the people of France over the death of 12 frenchmen, while dismissing the deaths in Baga, same day, as 'normal'. Did you read the police report? They attacked each other and no one died! Such a sad commentary. |
I would have voted GEJ for: 1. 2nd Niger Bridge: I was in Onitsha less than 3 wks ago and would like to be educated where that project is sited and how long ago contractors were mobilized to site; the cost of the project and financing arrangement; the amount so far spent and what year it was appropriated for? 2. His expert handling of the economy:His defence of the free-falling naira; his burgeoning savings in the foreign reserves; the evidences of his works with savings from fuel pump price increment funnelled into the SURE-P; a resort to obtaining loans for fighting terrorism when a simple supplementary appropriation would suffice he had money saved up. 3. For the numerous scams that have taken place under his watch without a notable indictment; for the state pardon granted previously convicted criminals by Okupe's Jesus Christ. 4. For maintaining a conspiratorial silence while over 15,000 citizen are slaughtered in a relative 'peace time' while he swore to be responsible for the security and welfare of citizens. But as I no like better thing so, I go ote Buhari/APC |
