EUROBOMBER:I'm inclined to believe that you'd prefer a mediocre administrator provided he has some filial links with you. No one failed Jonathan! He frittered away the goodwill that got him the presidency with his embarrassing cluelessness, moral bankruptcy, incompetence and insensitivity. He's fortunate to still have some loyal gang members to manufacture the magic numbers. If Jonathan loses, my joy would be that, Nigerians have sent a clear message that a second term is not an entitlement and incompetence would not be rewarded. |
justhelp:He has TRANSFORMED into a GUEST on this site on the interim. |
Rilwayne001:You wished! I have warned earlier that by the time the PDP is done with cooking up the magic numbers from the south, we'd all be shocked beyond words can express. |
h earts:I'd elect to stay positive, after all a Buhari presidency is coming at a high cost to me. But the personal sacrifices was well worth it. Allez APC |
genearts:this is not sufficiently cheering for me. The average turnout per LGA is less than 40k. Would such match the magic numbers that would soon be conjured up in the SE and SS? |
furetin20:Does appear you've not grown the capacity of your imbecilic brain since 1984, with this moronic way you think and talk. ..and that is tragic! |
chibabe3:Appreciate your patriotism and zeal to make change happen. Please do bear in mind that you must pass accreditation before voting and that window closes around 1pm. |
In due season, we may have to revisit the BH insurgency, especially with the huge loss of lives which now appears to have been lost to blackmailers in high places. How interesting it is that a sect that took the lives of over 15000 Nigerians over a five-year period was reined-in within 6 wks, of an extention to the presidential ballot, because defeat was staring the incumbent in the face. How interesting it is that the girls are in Gwoza and would be liberated after a ground and aerial raid, all intact without recording a casualty, yet a terrorists would cowardly surrender them and Shekau would be taken in, less than 24 hours to a rescheduled presidential election, even after a leaked intelligence report. I feel quite happy that the ring operating this circus think we are as stupid as they are and it's all good! But first of all, let them free the hostages and.......in due time, we shall ask the right questions. |
Kalo kalo government headed by an economic rascal and outsourced to an economic terrorist! Here's a foretaste of what would define a Jonathan second term. Let the enemies of Nigeria keep saying Sai Jonathan! |
PassingShot:Positions expressed with total assurances like this gets me disturbed. Looking at my history, you'd realise I have never waivered in my support of the opposition and its presidential candidate, however let me caution that events in the last few days shows that victory may not come as easy as we estimate, if it comes at all. It bears emphasizing that the projections of a Buhari victory is subject to some constraints, chief amongst which is the percentage voter turnout in his areas of strength and a possibility of winning with a landslide in those areas. If PDP's performance in the North in 2011 is replicated this time around, victory would sure elude the APC. The credibilty of the process is another factor. I am compelled to be circumspect in vouching for the integrity of the card readers and its ability to deliver a fool-proof accreditation with recent boasts by some supporters of the PDP, here, that they already have a master plan to circumvent its effectiveness. The gale of defections we have seen recently would only serve to bolster the ranks of the PDP with effective grassroot mobilizers. A majority of our people are quite poor and would gladly thumb for the PDP after collecting as low as #500 on election day (herein lies the biggest danger considering that PDP has a huge warchest to sustain the D-Day battle). When Fayose says they would win by a landslide, unfortunately I tend to rationalise the possibility of such having considered the factors enumerated. The APC has fought well and hard but may have to find ways of manoevering to earn a victory. I have just one vote to contribute and APC is still assured of it. |
Now you see how vain some humans are. GMB went to rest (or was it routine check-up) after a stressful campaign rounds and Fayose would not allow him some peace. Pray this is not true, but if it is then mischief makers should simply understand that we are humans afterall. Yesterday, the rug was pulled from under Amaechi's feet leaving him dazed in utmost bewilderment and all this while, the APC has been alleging a plot to get its leaders/financiers/mobilizers out of circulation through arrests, which for me is a sad development as a pro-opposition. But when things like happen to the main party, you just wish such great mobilizer/pillar for the PDP stays out of circulation till after the elections too, to bolster our chances. No death wish, just a wish for an extended bed-rest. Here is wishing Gov Godswill Akpabio full recovery after 28th March 2015. #strictlypolitics |
Flets:Bros, I haven't got the energy to explain to a blackmailer like you. Stick with your Jonathan while I stick with Buhari. Whoever wins will be our president, and such legitimacy can only be guaranteed by a free, fair and credible elections. Just so you know, I am from Delta State! |

Flets:Unfortunately, for me, I do not see any calamity bigger than granting Jonathan a fresh term. That man is hazardous! We'll all be dead |
Flets:Could you spare us the blackmail please? If Jonathan lived up to expectation, a lot of us would not pitch our tents with the opposition. |
emiye:God bless you! Some folks have simply hibernated or discarded their brains and are calling on God to exercise their civic responsibility. Hear someone talk about the legacy of Jonathan and you want to shed tears for how anti-progress some people can be. For me, it would be better to play the ethno-religious card than point to Jonathan's 'achievements'. For a man that depleted the foreign reserves he inherited; could not save after earning the highest revenue in the nation's history; amassed needless debts in spite of the debt pardon we got in Obasanjo's tenure; stayed indifferent while a local terror group ravaged the economy of a region and mindlessly sent over 15,000 citizens to their untimely death; have left the economy to God while the naira continues on a free-fall, unemployment escalates and poverty pervades the land. It's wicked to think or point at anything good as the legacy of Jonathan. |
Because I'm pro-opposition, any piece of news that bolsters the strength of the opposition makes me happy. Because I'm patrotic, any action at legitimately ending this Jonathan' family nightmare on the fortunes of my dear country is hoped for; welcome and in good taste. 27th March, I'd journey to Warri to make my contribution, Insha Allahu! |
visalo:I have no qualms with arresting Tinubu whenever it seems auspicious for the govvernment. Matter of factly, there is no way cries of a witch-hunt would not follow the trial of a prominent opposition figure. Nonetheless, I may have to disagree with your tagging Tinubu as the greatest criminal ever liveth, because.... His sins of graft would pale into insignificance when compared with the waste from the presidency; the staggering amount stolen by appointees of the central govt for which a conspiratorial silence has always been maintained; the direct corrupt enrichment by oga kwatakwata and pamily. |
This is not the time to expect a level playing field from a party that has lost the confidence of Nigerians, especially online. Truth is, however woeful they may have performed, nobody vacants a position of power and a funnel to immense wealth without fighting dirty. The APC should spare us these noise, it's sounding silly already. If Tinubu is a major financier of the APC, then he should write checks to cover envisaged logistics before he and others are taken out of circulation. If he expects sympathy from me about a corruption related arrest, then he must be joking. Moreso, they should begin to delegate duties so as to consolidate on the gains they made. Meantime APC should promptly release their documentary to equally smear the PDP in this final lap. This is war an no party should take prisoners. I |
Roland17:No ill-feelings bruv. |
Roland17:That would affect my degree in Engineering sir. But seriously, this woman no dey try, yet she dey like show herself. The comic relief she used to provide is no longer looking funny. She and her hubby seriously needs to be legitimately eased out of power so we can breathe again. |
This must have come from divine revelation because I was hoping to see that he gathered his intelligence from Marilyn Ogar or that his Covert Operations' Directorate of his Ministry. But when these guys made allegations like this, do they think we are dumb? |
The temperament of a number of dem ladies have been short-circuited after the 'stephen treatment' campaign sermon by Mama Piss. ![]() Offend them at your own risk! |
SeverusSnape: You're making an honest living and we're quite pleased with the way you're handling your brief and justifying your pay packet. Your paymasters are pleased as well. You're quite an intelligent fellow, but the spontaneity of your contributions puts you at par with LITERATE Mama Piss |
SeverusSnape:It does appear you keep an eternal vigil here on Nairaland. That's not supposed to be a problem, but could you spare us your hollow rantings when your brain is rented out? Even if Nairaland is your beat, you must'nt comment on all threads! Anyways, Patience Fakabelema Jonathan is literate, with an NCE and a double honours Bachelors degree. |
Truthhurtss:You just overrated yourself |
stronger:The contract for procuring and unleashing the hooligans is a separate contract, unfortunately. There's just no end to the pool from which the mugu-money-spender draws his dollars from. And to think that the economy is comatose while this craseman dey cut chain makes me want to cry. |
stronger:You see, Gani Adams got his basic education very late so i would allow his ignorance pass as i always do with Patience Fakabelema. However, people should be aware that implementing the recommendations of the Confab is the responsibility of the NASS and the states' houses of assembly, not Jonathan's. His personal reason is justifiable though. |
Jonathan, life member and patron of the international association of white witches, Nigeria Command, to lead a prayer to avert death? Don't witches draw their sustenance on blood any longer? This is one joke taken too far! |
Bachelors' degree are a validation that learning and character has been acquired. When i remember my brilliant coursemates, i feel disturbed that same UNIPORT invested this 'absentee student' with a first degree. This should be a testament to the fact the standard of education was worse-off all the years she had her education, from formative to undergraduate. |
After an ogogoro binge drinking outing at Mama P's joint in my village in Aso, I told Akpati to put me through to the Prince in Maroc and this man may have called Sambo instead. I am manifestly embarassed by this and have ordered a full investigation. But wait o, ...why this yeye people come join issues with me on this phone call issue sef? Dem no know say we dey lie everything join for this bazaar season? Okay, to avoid other diplomatic spat, I may have to restrict myself to local lies like 2nd Mainland Bridge in Onitsha and relocating the capital of Nigeria to Lagos SW, Nigeria. |
This is so disgusting! This are the set of morally bankrupt dealers that donning the carsock. I cannot serve the god this man serves. |
