Afam4eva: Would the match had made any difference had Nnamdi Oduamadi not been injured?
Just today on FIFA.com he was complaining about frequent injuries hampering his career.

drnairalov: They won the game with only 3
shots on Target .. Very annoying
defeat ..
Every shot on target against Nigeria is now a goal, the last time we kept a clean sheet was against Kenya and there was no shot on target at all, against Namibia one shot on target for them, one goal. Enyeam should be dropped, let the rebuilding be complete! Drop Enyeama!!!

successking: It's clear to Keshi now, that some players must be recalled to make SE a team.
Because we didn't lose any match when those guys were playing? For God's sake we were called super chickens because of those players you want back. I have a simple solution, drop the remaining one of them, Enyeama!
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Confederations Cup: (1 - 2) On 20th June 2013 by collynzo2(m): 1:19am On Jun 21, 2013
GenBuhari: We played well enough.

theoretically Tahiti could hold Uruguay to a 0-0 draw.

Nigeria could hold spain to a 2-2 draw.

Which means we qualify (theoretically).
If it happens like that Uruguay will qualify with head-to-head.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Confederations Cup: (1 - 2) On 20th June 2013 by collynzo2(m): 1:09am On Jun 21, 2013
Many people are suggesting we recall players from the last generation, personally I'll suggest we drop the last remaining player from that generation, Enyeama!

2 options; we either beat Spain or Tahiti beats Uruguay. Which one is more possible?

Gbengazzee: Am glad seeing Nigeria playing in this tournament, which have help to reveal the weakness in this team - Super Eagle. The coach has a lot to do in preparation for the world cup. I wish Keshi will reconsider the inclusion of one of the old experienced strikers e.g. Uche, Martins & Osaze to strengthen the strike force.
Because we didn't lose matches when those guys were playing abi?

2. Oboabona reaction is slow. hope he proves me wrong.

Jarus: If we draw, our destiny may no longer be in our hands.

We will be on +5 and Uruguay -1. All Uruguay need to do is beat Tahiti 6-0, and we losing to Spain by any margin.
Our destiny will still be in our hands because even a draw against Spain will see us through with 5 points.

Barcanista has admitted he doesn't live in Rivers, so he can't be as concerned about the security of the State as we are. No need to argue with him. I don't have time for their petty politics, I don't share the money with them, what I care about is their developmental actions. Amaechi turned around the security situation in Rivers and security is very paramount to me. I can'ttrade it for dirty politics. If I may ask, what has GEJ done for Bayelsa as Governor or President?

PoliticsRe: Amaechi Accuses CP Of Leaking Security Information by collynzo2(m): 9:40am On Jun 20, 2013
barcanista: It's only on nl that you'll hear that the common rivers man is happy with Amaechi and dissatisfied with GEJ. in reality, the reverse is the case cos 'm yet to see or interact wit any rivers common man who shares pro-ameachi sentiment. We have lots of Ijaw/Rivers people on nl, if we take a poll, it will be LANDSLIDE. Amaechi is gone, he can relocate to Osogbo or Maiduguri after he leaves govt house. Neither Rivers state nor any region in S/S can accomodate him.
I'm yet to interact with any Rivers man who shares anti-Amaechi sentiment.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Accuses CP Of Leaking Security Information by collynzo2(m): 9:39am On Jun 20, 2013
barcanista: Firstly sir, permit me to weep for your parents for giving birth to miserable nitwit like you. GEJ GCFR,GCON is the COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES. he is in-charge of EVERY security issues in Nigeria and delegate CPs through the IGP. Amaechi is just a cry baby, he is a whiner and a goner. I can confidently tell you that Okrikans, kalabaris,Ogonis, Ogba,Egbema, etche,Ndoni,Andoni etc plus 60 percent of his own Ikwerri don't like him. We rivers people will always pitch tent with Presido Jona anyday. Let him cry, Tam-west is a nobody in rivers state. He's not a single force to be reckoned with. He'll not save amaechi when he's out of govt house. It'S GEJ till Messi turn referee
Bros you are speaking/writing for yourself. Rivers people love Amaechi.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Accuses CP Of Leaking Security Information by collynzo2(m): 9:36am On Jun 20, 2013
This has always been my fear, I don't want PH to return to the days of insecurity. Armed robbers were having a field day before Amaechi came in. Then you could have two different sets of armed robbers attack you in one night. Weakening Amaechi's power can take us back to the dark days. God forbid!!

Chanchit: See whinning. I know deep down somewhere this guy go dey pray make Uruguay trash us. Dnt worry sha ur dream might come true, cos those 9ja players be mokodumbies.
Shatap we'll win Uruguay, I am sure Asamoah Gyan wins it. You don't know the kind of hatred Ghanaians have for Uruguay and Suarez. If there is any time Ghanaians will support Nigeria, it's now.
SportsGhana Striker Asamoah Gyan Begs Nigeria To Beat Uruguay For Africa Today by collynzo2(op): 8:52am On Jun 20, 2013
Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is urging Nigeria to defeat Uruguay at the Confederations Cup in Brazil later today to avenge the defeat the Black Stars suffered at the hands of the South American country. The last time an African team played the one from
Uruguay there was weeping wailing and the
gnashing of teeth. The weeping of joy was done by the South Americans and the gnashing and wailing by the Africans after Ghana allowed a sure victory to be wrestled from their grasp when Abreu converted possibly the calmest penalty in the history of football. It’s been quite a while since that
fateful July evening in Johannesburg and things have changed dramatically for the side that would eventually lose to Germany in the third place game by a lone goal. While the South American champions still boast of the mercurial and cunning Suarez the rest of the team has lost its fizzle and is far removed from that sound side that impressed us all at the World cup. On paper at least, they currently
stand on equal footing with the Africa champion but only because Nigeria is without her most brilliant player Moses and has not found her groove in the last three games she has played. While Folan their undisputed pendulum still swings he mainly does this out of rhythm as we saw against Spain. In
addition to this the mid field simply does not exist. Plus the timing of the tournament couldn’t be more complicated for the Celeste as well. Their bid to join the real party in Brazil next year is in considerable jeopardy as they lie in an inglorious sixth place in the South American qualifier after 11 out of the 16
round-robin matches. So they simply can’t throw caution to the wind and must guard against injury. If we say that their midfield has failed to click then their defense has to be called nothing short of a disaster. Uruguay have the worst defensive record in the WC qualifiers, alongside Paraguay, having shipped 21 goals in 11 games while scoring 17.
Their 4-4-2 with the roaming back three will be severely tested by the West African speed who themselves have been reminded again of the disaster in Johannesburg and their need to get revenge for the entire Africa. The reminder came from no one else than Asamoah Gyan himself who sent the Eagles a special message urging them on to victory. It simply read “do it for Africa”. On Thursday we will know if they will. It certainly is not
‘Mission Impossible’.
