dolphinife: I think we are missing the point here. If osaze scored 9 goals in 10 years, what about kanu dat scored 10 goals in 17 years?
FYI, how many matches was osaze been used as a striker for the super eagles? So how do you expect a fringe player to score goals.

Moreso, since kanu and okocha retired from the national team, can we mention any other nigerian footballer that is better and more committed than Osaze? Can't we just reason on what osaze was talking about concerning NFF and its useless corruptions? I tot Emenike got injured while playing for Nigeria, who foot his treatment bill?

The most useless player that has ever play for nigeria is aiyegbeni. He made life difficult for fans and the country through her laicadasical attitudes and nobody crucify him for dat. Mikel has done far worse things to our sensibilities, yet, he manage his way to the super eagles. Is dat not sub standard of disciplinarian actions?
You are a very big liar, you twist facts alot, this is the second time you are doing it on this thread. Firstly Kanu scored 12 goals not ten, Secondly Yakubu scored 21 goals for Nigeria, I think he's second behind Yekini so he can't be the most useless player for Nigeria. To say Yakubu was never 'crucified' by fans is the biggest lie ever. What has Mikel done wrong compared to Osaze, has he ever left camp and returned to his club without permission just like Osaze did when Sia Sia was in charge? Has he ever blasted the fans/coach/journalists/NFF officials in public like Odemwingie? You are a great liar. Finally how many matches has Musa been used as a striker? How about Moses? How many matches have they played for the country? Musa has 5 goals, Moses has 4 in less than 1 year. Odemwingie scored 9 in 10 years and you guys make it look like he's the best thing since sliced bread. If you want to know who is more committed than Odemwingie, every single player who played at AFCON.

What did we Achieve when Odemwingie was playing? How many goals did he score? I prefer watching the super eagles of now more than the time of Odemwingie and co when players walk round the pitch for 90 minutes. Heck! Even players who won world cups for their countries still get dropped, how much more Odemwingie?
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Confederations Cup: (1 - 2) On 20th June 2013 by collynzo2(m): 9:04pm On Jun 19, 2013
Afam4eva: I see no reason why we can't beat Uruguay if our boys put their act together and not embarrass themselves like they did against Tahiti. We can beat anything and be beaten by any team. Even Spain that a lot of people have already said will beat Nigeria may receive the shock of their lives. Afterall we drew with Catalonia in their own home turf and i don't see much difference between this Spanish team and the Catalonia team. We can get the maximum 9 points from this game. yes we can.

Like this post if you believe what i just said.
I liked the post, but this begging for likes has to stop. Even moderators too?

Keshi never did that, in 94 nations cup, he sat on the bench throughout and lifted the trophy as coach. What quality are you talking about? 9 goals in 10 years?
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 12:13pm On Jun 19, 2013
Anvaller: U are not telling the truth. The way u narrated ur story looks very much like u learnt ur own side of the story via rumours but not fact. Osaze started the drama all by himself. When Keshi was appointed coach, he was reaching out to all players he intends to include in his team and reached out to Osaze. Osaze told him that he was not interested in eagles anymore and he explains his reasons... The main reasons he gave was the NFF's corruption and poor management of the players plus politics with football. We all know that he was on point and he was telling the truth. Keshi implored him but he refused. At that point he was playing hard to get not knowing that it would back fire.

Keshi gathered new boys and the eagles started looking like they don't need Osaze. They started playing qualifiers without him and he later after realizing that he seems that he was looking unneeded, he reached out to keshi and said he wanted to play on one condition that he should be made the captain. Keshi told him that he wasn't going to accept him based on preconditions as he did not accept any player in camp based on any. ( Remember that it was Osaze himself who told Keshi that he wasn't interested in Eagles anymore in the 1st place ) Nations cup was close and for moral reasons, Keshi could not even bring him in anymore because u don't bring him to camp and give him jersey at the expense of guys that fought tooth and nail for Eagles, if he wanted to be part of the team, he should have worked his way in from the beginning otherwise the other players will feel shortchanged and it will affect their commitment. If he had any issues with former coaches, he shouldn't have carried it over to Keshi cos Keshi was then a new coach, he should have started a new affair with Keshi and see how Keshi will relate with him 1st before complaining about anything. So its all Osaze's fault.
You wrote all I had in mind but was too lazy to type. Imagine someone who refused to participate in the qualifiers, fell out with new coach Keshi after just one match, was suddenly confident his name will appear in the list to the extent of saying saying goodbye to his club and teammates. It reminds me of what he did on transfer deadline day, driving to QPR without any deal finalised.

What stupid commercial activities are going on in such a dirty place, can the population of Aba be compared to Lagos or Ph? What is conducive about such a stinking place. I get itches allover my body passing throug there alone.

Lagerback was dictated to by Ogunjobi, Kanu and Co (I actually know that Kanu helps 4 to 5 players get call ups at a price)
Sia Sia wanted money, Keshi wanted money, Hodgson wanted money, Steve Clarke wanted money.
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 11:30am On Jun 19, 2013
Odemwingie made sure we didn't qualify for AFCON 2012 by missing 3 sitters against Guinea in 2011, easier chances than what people are crucifying Musa and Ideye for. He was booed by the crowd throughout the match. Instead of showing remorse after we failed to qualify for AFCON, he went on twitter immediately after the match, to blast:
FANS (for booing him after 3 very bad misses)
COACH Sia Sia ( for criticising him after he left camp and went back to his club without permission)
NFF( for backing the coach).
FELLOw PLAYERS
JOURNALISTS ( for criticising him, citing his refusal to give them money as the reason lol)
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 11:21am On Jun 19, 2013
'useless' Musa already has 5 goals for Nigeria, Odemwingie scored 9 in ten years. Okay
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 11:19am On Jun 19, 2013
dolphinife: Is like u dnt understand what transpired between osaze, NFF and keshi. Two weeks before the Nations cup, osaze has bid his coach, his teammates and other people at west brom goodbye dat he's going to represent his country. Infact, he granted an interview with BBC where he stated clearly that he love Nigeria and he's glad that he would be representing Nigeria at d tournament.

Before you know it, osaze who has been a regular starter for nigeria, wasn't listed in the final list to play the nations cup neither was he called by mobile phone as to explain the reasons why he wouldn't be taken along. Infact, he heard his omission from the internet. If you were the player, wouldn't you have curse Keshi and NFF?
That is not were the problem, started from, you started from when the AFCON list was released, I don't want to go very far, I'll just ask you some simple questions. why did Osaze refuse to play in the qualifiers?
Have the problems he listed been solved?
Why does he want to come back now?
Why did he fall out with every super eagles coach, even Lagerback who is foreign?
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 11:07am On Jun 19, 2013
Why am I even bothering myself, it's a good thing that Keshi does not listen to rubbish people say, else we won't be AFCON champions by now. He was able to disregard what people were saying and do away with all those tired legs, something which coaches after coaches were too afraid or lazy to do. I trust Keshi so even if you guys cry from now till tomorrow, Odemwingie will not be invited.
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 11:04am On Jun 19, 2013
omar22: He didnt fall out with his club coach!!!
He fell out with Roy Hodgson and the present wba coach Steve Clarke. Hodgson once claimed Odemwingie was not intersted in playing always claiming too injured to play, Odemwingie then went on to blast him on twitter and posted a pic of his supposed injury. As for the present coach Clarke, Odemwingie said he was playing him out of position and keeping him on the bench when he was on form; that was even before the transfer issue came up. Remember he also complained of WBA players keeping malice with him, sidelining him and talking behind his back. Imagine him coming back to the national team, do you think with his attitude he'll be able to integrate properly with the present players?
SportsRe: Odemwingie Still Wants To Play For Nigeria by collynzo2(m): 10:39am On Jun 19, 2013
Yobo has 7 goals for Nigeria, Odemwingie has 10, that says it all. Anyone who wants Odemwingie to return is an enemy of progress. He has had problems with all Nigerian coaches, when Lars Lagerback was appointed he was very happy that a foreign coach was appointed but ended up falling out with him, why? He has also fallen out with many of his club coaches. The problems in Nigerian football he complained about, have they been solved? Why does he want to come back now?

texaco1: to be sincere with ourselves ,we still need our experienced players ,this team still lacks composure and when the going gets tough i wont be surprised if these boys crack up when under pressure,
i think we need a creative midfielder ,striker and defender, just 3 experienced players will make this team solid.
if cameroon can still be using eto and italy still using pirlo then what makes keshi believes that these rookies can withstand top pressure.
i know that some of these boys will be droped if we eventually qualify for the world cup.keshi is a coach that has seen it all before and he certainly knows that on the big stage,it is experience that usually makes the difference
Keshi will never drop these boys for anybody, if we qualify for the world cup, never! The Cameroon you used as example didn't qualify for the last 2 nations cups, last 2 world cups and have already failed to qualify for the next world cup, are they the people we should be looking up to?

Keshi do no go back to your vomit like a dog, forget about all those players of the past. It's not a coincidence that we won a trophy after you dropped them and brought in new set of players. It's shocking that after winning AFCON 2012, people are clamouring for the return of players who couldn't even qualify us for AFCON 2012. Those saying Odemwingie is the answer to our striking problems, how many goals did he score in ten years of playing for Nigeria? Answer = 9
