Sagamite: You are person! All sorts of African teams, strong or weak have worked with foreign coaches at one time or the other, so your drivel about team strength doesn't hold water. Moreover, your so called 'hard working' white coaches shouldn't have any problem with making a weak team competitive. I don't have time to furnish a dipstick like you with statistics, but I know that AFCON tournaments in general have had more foreign coaches than African ones, but the Africans have won more. As for Ahmed Musa, he cannot be a top striker for the Russian Champions and be a senseless player. Despite playing from the wings for Nigeria, he has a good number of goals and very impressive number of assists. Unlike you, I watch all Super Eagles matches and I know how blunt and unambitious our attack is without Ahmed Musa. You are just a fool with enormous self-hate. You need psychiatric help. |
Where is that CameroonPride fool, he's always boasting of how good their basketball team is. |
PECO4KING: Actor no dey die. Micheal I wish u speed recoveryI don't get all this speedy recovery stuff, I saw him on TV, the guy is burnt beyond recognition. His life will never be the same again. |
Sagamite: No 1, Many of the learnee, as you claimed, coaches are miles better and more employable than the junk we have in Africa. They tend, on average, to work harder and strive to be the best while the typical African mentality is to celebrate mediocrity. This self-hating fool has brought himself to the sport section. Go and check the records of coaches who have won AFCON, African coaches have the upper hand despite the fact that most countries opt for foreign coaches. Where is their hard work then? As for Ahmed Musa, Nigeria's attack is blunt without him. He was the highest goal scorer for Russia's double champions CskA Moscow last season, he already has 4 goals in 6 matches this season. That's the guy you refer to as 'the most useless footballer'. You know nothing about football. Take your defeatist attitiude to the political section. |
Symphony007: olabukola, enugu can have an airport but not when all the major airports in the country put together are not up to international standard. Every nigerian airport is undeequiped and a disgrace. Rather than spending money to make those airports a national pride, you spend that money replicating the same underequiped, primitive airports in other cities in the nation. Does'nt this government know anything about priority? I have no problem with enugu having an airport, heck, they can build one in every state for all i care(which will be stupid), but they should be modern and state of the art, or even a few if they can't afford all. An airport is not just a travel hub. It is the first impression a visitor or investor has of a country on arrival. You still haven't answered the simple question, you are bothered about national pride rather than the economic imporvements that airport will bring to the area. Is it a good or bad thing? Simple question. |
Bizibi: even 1997 was not as bad as wht we are facing now,thn 50 naira was something u can hold and get something to eat for lunch, yes abacha was a terrible dictator but any time i remember the living conditionsin nigeria at time compared to now i just shake my head in pity, democracy in nigeria now means freedom to take whatever u can lay ur hands on not minding if people are watching,Let's not exaggerate things, hoq easy was it to 'get hold' of 50 naira as at then? How many motorable roads did we have then? How many new roads did Abacha create? How accessible was clean water then? Majority of Nigerians used to walk kilometersjust to fetch water then even in cities like Lagos and PH, let alone rural areas. How accessible is water now? Things were far worse then, make no mistake about that. Even the dollar is not as strong as it used to be in 1997. |
The only wrong thing about that article was the author suggesting a miltary government would have been better. He should have been in Nigeria in 1997 |
bobosydney: Hahahaha.....you absolutely wrong think you absolutely wrong and i'm challenging you to mention my name here if you know it .@ James you can now mention his name, he has given you permission. No rule is stopping you now |

If it will take a ban on rice importation and another Dangote monopoly for rice to be locally produced, so be it! I served in a rice producing area of Kwara state, the only rice mill they have there has been closed for years, they go through difficulties processing the rice locally to an even manageable standard. If a businessman like Dangote can set up a mill there and buy harvested rice from farmers, the farmers will be inspired to produce more and make money for their families, youths of that village will be able to get employment working in the mill, transporters will make a living exporting rice to other parts of the country from that village. A win-win situation. |
PapaBrowne: Let me burst your lame self. You don finish that guy! I always suspected it was a downloaded picture |
Tinyemeka:You should work for CIA. Bad guy |
bobosydney: To reply scumbags people like you , I will show you the picture of my house . It's not that i'm bragging but just to shut your mouth up and let you Know that me and you are not in the same category and i'm not a uncivilized like you .Such a tight house you have there and you complain about the airport? You hardly have walking space in that house. Why isn't your house like the one below? https://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/images/2-HouseandHome-JamesonHouseLivingRoom-CircularRoom.jpg |
Symphony007: for the love of God, i'm tired of telling you people i'm not yoruba, cause apparently it's not registering. Tribalism is now part of your existence. Secondly, that airport is not by any level international airport standard. I have emphasied that in so many post earlier. And lastly my good friend, if every nigerian thinks like you, this country will never development. No offense!! Seriously, just read the last few lines of your post. What if everyone writes or speaks like you? |

Now this is getting interesting. Not that I don't believe you or your purchasing power, it's just that I would be letting myself down if I saw any pic on the net and took it to be what it was said to be, without further verification.
