breezy047: It happened in 1993 too. During the Abiola crisis when Igbos thought another civil war was coming.I guess it's clearer to all now, Yorubas can threaten and make all the noise in the world, but will never act. You guys have the coward's gene in you. |
shymexx: Bruv, are you mad? I lost more money to the bookies, champs at clubs, and crepz than most of them will ever make in their lives.SMH that's a yoruba dominated profession you are talking about. |
shymexx: We're talking about real people, this guy is citing dirty, smelly and boring naija comedians.some of them can comfortably feed you and your family. I guess your brothers AY, Teju babyface and the rest are also smelly. |
Nnewi is regarded as the Japan of Africa because of its industrialization, and attracts not just people from other states but people from other countries. Someone who calls himself a prof is asking me where are the industries in the east. You don't just sit at home and make conclusions, if you can't travel, at least research on the web or ask questions. Don't make a fool of yourself. |
Prof Corruption: Shymexx, you take this folks seriously, don't you? They are loud in everything but zero in strategy. Just be watching!!!Yorubas are the loudest people on Nigeria, anyone can confirm it. They make noise and threathen a lot, but when push comes to shove, they are no where to be found. Noise makers! That's why comedians keep making jokes out of their loudness. |
slimmy05: the truth is we'll buy out lagos and use it as wharehouse and you guys will be the watchmensome of them are from Kwara and Ekiti state. BTW, Ekiti state is one of the poorest in Nigeria in terms of GDP per capital,no wonder all of them are claiming Lagos. |
Take yourdiaspora ish elsewhere, we are talking about Nigerians in Nigeria here and there is no evidence to prove that yorubas have more professionals in diaspora than any other tribe, or that Igbos have more prisoners in diaspora. The close to 40 yoruba scammers that were sent to Prison in the US not long ago is enough to twist that figure in your favour. |
^^^ and the industries in Nnewi and Onitsha alone can rival all the industries in the rest of south west (outside Lagos) put together. |
Prof Corruption: Sorry, Lagos is in SE. Ogun is in SE, Oyo is in SE.You said all the SW states are ahead of SE states in GDP, but from my findings Abia is no3 behind Lagos and Rivers, Imo is number 6. You are a real Prof corruption. |
Prof Corruption: I don't engage in futile argument of two plus two is equal to five. Do you know the number of Igbos in any state including your Enugu? It's all about estimation. You can only estimate but can't state authoritatively. But GPD figures are quite informative and are freely available. When you check those figures, you might begin to see the futility of claiming the biggest market in Africa, the most industrialized this or that when such do not reflect in the GDP.You keep making the same mistake using 'south west' in place of Lagos, what is industrialized about south west? Every state there outside Lagos can be comfortably described as a village. Yes I agree, the east is not as industrialised as South South, but what do you mean by 'talkless of southwest'? Are you suggesting that south west is more industrialized than south south. May I remind you again, Lagos alone is not south west. There are many 'other Nigerians' earning their living in the east if you don't know. Don't just sit in your room and make conclusions, I've said that before. You keep going on about GDP can you give us the GDP figures to peruse? Prof corruption indeed |
payless: You don't reshuffle your cabinet unless you have failed. You keep your cabinet intact if they are performing.Anything wrong with correcting a failure? |
How does parking people like sardine in a lorry and dumping them in Onitsha at midnight sound? Why not take them to their individual villages if you care so much? |
Xsolutions: There is something very WRONG with the Igbo tribe...they don't know who they are supposed to be yet 98% of them feel they are BETTER than the other tribes in Nigeria...THEIR BOLD ARROGANCE IS THEIR PROBLEM!!!worry about yourself man, most Igbos are doing better than you and you know it! |
Prof Corruption: Go the East and appoint as many Babalojas as you deem fit. But you don't come toLagos! We need to keep it clear, Igbos are not being deported from Ekiti and Ondo state, are they? Lagos alone isn't south west, why are the other south west states not like Lagos? Why couldn't Yorubas use their igenuity to make Kwara and Osun states like Lagos? Lagos is what it is today because of federal government investments as a former capital, fact! |
Prof Corruption: When you typed "compare", what exactly were you driving at? The GDP of the remaining five western states are higher than that of the East. Or you want to compare the migration rate to other regions for economic prosperity? Who migrates to the East? What's in the East that's attracting the rest of Nigerians?I asked if you guys travel at all, you have answered me by asking 'who migrates to the east'? I don't know where you got your GDP figures from, but I repeat no state in the west outside Lagos (a former capital) can be compared to anywhere in the east. I'll like to know the number of Igbos in Ekiti state as compared to the number of yorubas in Enugu state. Sit in your armchair and vomit thrash, it's very clear you haven't travelled outside Lagos and your village in Osun state. |
slimmy05: you're just an uninformed skunk and who told you history has it that Lagos is a yoruba land. Who are the first settlers in Lagos? And "Eko", "idumota" a yoruba name? Let me school you a little cos am the principal of your school of thought, but you're derailing so fast, lagos was presided over by the Oba of Benin and benin were the first settlers in Lagos. And who the hell told you Fashola is a lagosian and Tinubu? Those guys aint Lagosians, they can't even trace their roots. Bunch of bastardsss who migrated from neighbouring states claiming lagosians.Just like the ones we have on Nairaland......every yoruba man is now a Lagosian hahaha. Are they ashamed of their states, why is no one on nairaland from Kwara, Ekiti, Osun etc.? |
Prof Corruption: It's good. We want more of it. Make sure you develop all western states and all northern states but leave the East for erosion to swallow. When you are done, not just clap for yourselves but also declare yourselves as the most intelligent humans ever graced the earth.Take away Lagos the former capital of Nigeria, no south west state can be compared to anywhere in the east. Many of you just sit in your armchair and type rubbish. Have you ever travelled? |
NO LONG TIN: Well, I can only blame the person that made Lagos the (former) capital of Nigeria.Add Kwara to your list. |
dayokanu: We are used to winning. All we do is win win win No matter what.Win what? Are you sure you are even from Lagos state? Probably a Kwara state guy claiming Lagosian hahaha. You guys are funny, Lagos is what it is today because of federal government investments as a formal capital. It's just like Hausas waking up tomorrow and chasing everyone from Abuja claiming the developed it. Please rep your Kwara or Ekiti state, stop claiming Lagosian. Lagos wasn't developed by yoruba people alone. |
chaloner: saw this Yorubas Are The Problem With Nigerialol, even google knows! Another one 'Yorubas are ugly' 'Yorubas are dirty'. All spot on. Just type 'Yorubas are' Google will complete it for you |
Decryptor: I tried to comprehend the whole bladderdash this man was spewing and could not...but what really caught my attention is the bolded! To think this rubbish came out of the mouth of a governor??I think Fashola actually meant 'two men Kissing' in that statement, that's the only way it will make sense. |
EUROBOMBER: He has a point whether you accept it or not. It would be easier to fetch water with a basket than for Fashola to be president/vice president. You guys should be happy that the Igbos are shouting instead of bottling it all up. Do not mistake the silence of the northerners to mean that they don't care. I have been with them for long, what they want to do is in their minds.Spot on! They are complaining of igbos complaining while the hausas are palnning their retaliation. Hausa men never forgive and they don't make noise either, they just attack you when you least expect. |
1oracle: I will always respect google because google knows everything, if you doubt me just type "yorubas are" in a google search box, come back and tell me what you see.O boy I did it o! Wetin my eyes see, my mouth no fit talk |
Mine explosions happen everyday around the world. RIP |
This story is as fake as they come. |
Typical yoruba man running away from his responsilbility. Poor people should be banned from having more than two children in Nigeria. We are already over-populated. |
Ministers in Ghana have not been paid for months? Tell me if this isn't a license for corruption. |
Kingmojo: Nigeria imports all these things plus gas even though they produce oil. FoolsWhere in that article does it say Nigeria imports oranges, tomatoes and plantain like Gayna? Clutching at straws eh? As for gas, we export gas to you fools, so what are you saying? |
Nigeria exports goods worth $113 million to Gayna every year, and these are just the registered ones only. “the bulk of the exported products were cosmetics, footwear, textiles, confectionaries, insecticides, plastic (empty bottles), electric cables, food and beverages, including noodles.'' www.vanguardngr.com/2012/08/e-financing/ |
You couldn't make this shyte up, Gayna imports chewing sticks from Liberia. Most of Gayna’s daily consumables such as oranges, onions, tomatoes, plantains, leaves, tooth picks and cotton buds are all imported from countries like China, Egypt, Niger, Burkina Faso, Cote D’voire and Guinea. What exactly does Gayna even produce? . http://vibeghana.com/2013/07/08/ghanas-latest-imports-sorkodua-oranges-plantain-onion-cotton-buds-et-al/ |

Now i know "these peoples'" brain is synonymous to that dark brown yam flour meal they eat with ewedu soup. SMH!
