LEGISREPORTS NG – The People of Obio/akpor Ward 16 have resolved to recall their representative in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon. Michael Chinda. The Deputy Leader of Obio/akpor Ward 16 Believe Wali made this known at a press conference in Port Harcourt, stating that the decision to recall the injured Lawmaker Michael Chinda was reachedafter a meeting of Ward 16 Executives and Community Leaders. He said the people of the area are not happy over the involvement of their son in the move to impeach the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly Otelemaba Amachree. Meanwhile the Secretary General of the Grassroots Development Initiative Samuel Nwonosike has
denied report of the planned recall of the
Lawmaker representing Obio/akpor constituency two Michael Chinda. Samuel Nwonosike in a telephone interview with LEGISREPORTS said contrary to the report, the people of Ward 16 Obio/akpor are sympathetic to the plight of the injured Lawmaker.
