The worst part was that she couldn't hide her motive for the donation.
Her speech on the day was a purely campaign speech.

She couldn't even pretend that the donation was out of love and care fot the displaced rather she made it clear to them that she wanted their votes.
PoliticsRe: What Rochas Okorocha Did To The Imo Govt House (pics) by Collynzo9: 7:01am On Feb 13, 2015
Okorocha can build a government house if needed but it isn't something that should be brought out to celeberate.
How about the projects that actually affect the lives of the people positively?
How many of his health care centers has he completed? How many of have been equipped? How many medical professionals have been employed?
How many of his schools have been completed and equipped?

I visited Imo state in December and wherever I went the people where not happy with the Governor. The propaganda campaign he lunched such as this would not secure his re-election. From the feedback I gathered the people and mostly contractors claim that sub standard work was done in absolutely all the infrastructure and that he cunningly used contractors whom used their personal funds in doing most of these projects. They are being owed. The structures are already falling apart because of sub standard construction. Finally the truth resides with the people who claimed that even ikhedim's administration is better compared to this. The people would decide April 11 you watch and see.
Don't mind the sycophants on this thread.
What does an average Imo man in his village without good access roads benefit from all these government houses, lodges and conference centres? How do the unemployed people in Imo benefit from it?
Let us wait for April 11.

Besides, they also air the ones sponsored by APC against GEJ and his government, but you won't notice it since what they say are things we have been hearing for a while now.
Buhari should take the truthful criticisms in good fate, GEJ receives more, most of which are lies.
PoliticsRe: I Can't Comply With The Constitution & Function Properly- Buhari by Collynzo9: 8:57pm On Feb 12, 2015
That is why he keeps dodging the question of how exactly he will fight corruption in a democracy.
Maybe he will have to suspend the constitution again and enact decrees on his own.

So many pple missing the General's point. All he is saying is, pple who are shouting to high heavens that his decisions had no recourse to the constitution are not being fair in their jiudgement. As a military administrator, u can not work with the constitution which is civil. It does not however implies that he would embark on the same track of suspending the constitution under a civilian administration.
We are being asked to vote the person called Buhari not military or democracy.
There is no law that says a military government must be against free speech, arrest and imprison people randomly and execute people for no reason. There are military governments devoid of all those vices and we have had other military governments in Nigeria that weren't nearly as bad.
The point is that Buhari as a person is undemocratic, wicked, averse to criticism and very vindictive, his lack of remorse for those actions cleary proves that.
He cannot continue to hide under the fact that his was a military government.

He said the money originated from the government but belonged to the contractors as at the time it was seized and that they have already fulfilled their obligations by delivering the weapons.
If you give a contractor money to do some work for you and the money gets robbed or misplaced, who loses? It is the contractor and not you.
The contractor will have to look for another way to raise the money and do your job, that was exactly what happened.

I am on ground now. If you need pictures of the road, I will show you. This picture shows the only spot being worked on and its laterite dumping. I have up to 50 pictures from Imo boundary to Umuagwo where 500 metres has been paved on one side.
So You didn't see the other people at the end close to the barrack putting finishing touches on the culvert they constructed? You didn't see the ones that were filling up the medians of the newly dualised portions?
What about the guys opening up new portions of the road for dualization?
I saw work on at least three different sections of the road.
You are a well known liar on this forum anyway. Your opening statement in that post is enough to tell any discerning person how dishonest you are.

wonder why pace of work on these roads should be slow during dry season
There is nothing slow about the pace of work I saw when I passed through that road on Monday. The Arab contractor guys are working as if their lives depend on it, attacking the road from three different angles. The villagers are making brisk business from the serious construction too, there is a spot around Umuagwo where close to hundred villagers lined up by the side of road while bulldozers deposit huge rock particles from the excavated roads to them, they crack them into gravels and stones which they will later sell to builders.
I just wonder how someone can say Jonathan is losing woefully in Imo and you believe the rest of the nonsense he said.

Problem solved! wink
Slecting them is a stressful process, one of the reasons some people doubted if such a thing ever happened.
I believe it was on an ''act as they come basis''.
They come, you ask them for their names (normal process), if you like the name, you go straight to where the PVCs are stacked alphabetically and search for it, if you don't like the name you tell the person outrightly that his own isn't ready or you pretend to search for it without success.
When you get back to the office, you return the PVCs as those of people who refused to come and collect theirs.
No need to select, burn or delete anything.

Because there are lots of Buhari fans online and all the noise of change, we thought many people will back the General.

But funny enough, very few people bet on Buhari. Most people have been putting money on GEJ despite having smaller odds.

What we don't understand is if there are no Buhari fans on or dem no get liver.

You know nothing about coup d'etat. Go read about coup in Nigeria and other African countries; coups are mostly carried out by middl-rank officers like captains and majors. Muammar Gaddafi was a Captain when he seized power in 1969. When they succeed, they force their seniors to comply, who are in turn retired.
Johnson the coup d'etat expert, stop referring to rubbish that happened in the 60's and 70's, that guy made very valid points on how things have changed yet you refused to address them instead you are talking about Gaddafi.
A coup cannot work in this Nigeria of today, quote me anywhere.

Dont forget oil is no longer a new thing, many states now have untapped oil reserves, some communities that have oil reserves r begging govt and oil companies to start drilling it cos it is useless to them if they cant benefit from it.
There is no tribe in the ND, that doesn't produce garri stop the trash talk. Who imports garri from the north?
The only things they depend on the north for are onions, tomatoes, cow meat etc. The beef can be replaced with fish, chicken, goat meat or any other form of livestock which is even healthier. Besides when oil money ceases to flow into the north and the farmers there cannot sell their produce to other regions for money, who suffers?

Coup cannot work in Nigeria today, the head of state will only rule the part of the country where he comes from. Even if a group of soldiers from all tribes in Nigeria carry out the coup, it won't work.
It just can't work.

Why are you so dull?

Didnt you just agree that OBJ nominated GEJ for whatever reason?
Was GEJ the only Niger Deltan?
Is Bayelsa the only oil-producing state?
Are all oil-producing communities Ijaw?
Were all the militants who gave OBJ 'hell' based in Bayelsa?
Mehn, ...

Enter Dora; Dora at the ministerial screening held by the senate after she was nominated by GEJ as information minister recanted how she raised prayers at a particular catholic church for the recovery of ailing president YarAdua at the time?
How could she then be championing the removal of someone whose divine healing she was seriously praying for at the same time?
Doesn't that negate common sense?

In 2011, OBJ pacified the north and assured them GEJ will only be a one-term president after he secured the party's ticket. OBJ was instrumental through and through to GEJ's success in 20111 and played down the zoning issue whenever it arose.

Can you see you are just a dullard?
The fact that OBJ nominated him for VP does not mean that Yorubas made him President.
GEJ wasn't the only Niger Deltan but his appointment was intended to placate all militants of all states and ethnic groups within the Niger-delta who identified with him as a ''brother'' and it worked, afterall they all came together under the 'Niger-delta' struggle. Many of the militants threatening to go back to the struggle today aren't Bayelsans.
Did you expect Dora to pray for Yaradua's death? She kept praying for his recovery even while she was pressurising the National Assembly to make GEJ the acting President when Yaradua had been out for too long. Many people felt the country had been on auto-pilot mode for too long and urged the Nationa Assembly to swear in GEJ as acting President, it doesn't in anyway mean that they wanted Yar'adua to die.
Even GEJ himself didn't cease to use any of his public statements to pray for the recovery of Yaradua at that time. How daft can your reasoning be? First you suggested that GEJ's appointment only appealed to Bayelsa/Ijaw militants, now this.
I can't remember OBJ promising anyone a single tenure on behalf of GEJ. In any case, that doesn't mean that Yorubas made GEJ President.
The only one dull here is you as evidenced by your weird reasoning.
