As someone rightly posted, FG has done very well in infrastructure, bailout, salary payment, Social intervention programs.. but poorly in insecurity (not being proactive), lack of regular Power supply, Economy and some lopsided appointments.

In all PMB govt has performed slightly better than average.

Yes and I'm impressed by this strategy. That's very smart and strategic of him and his campaign team.

We've been used to stadium campaigns and interviews.. but this townhall meetings with various stakeholders in each state is really intelligent and commendable. I wish all political parties can adopt such.

Each state has its unique resources so meeting stakeholders in each state is a smart move.

We need to start thinking out of the box as a nation.

How would the cbn now feels if the ministry of finance now writes to the president that it was an ill advised decision and it was reckless! Then the NEC will now stop go back and ask cbn to re- notify the ministry starting from the beginning

One of the main purpose of currency change is due to security. Therefore only the C-in-C is meant to be aware and not any other "stakeholders". Do you know if it's those stakeholders that may have been hoarding funds or using them to perpetuate insecurity.

In such matters as this the CBN reports directly to the C-in-C.

I have been living on my own for ages since i came to the UK, I go to work kind my business, infact in this life I am not sure there’s anybody good at minding their business than me.

One of my friend told me and begged me to accommodate his friend in my house, I was extremely uncomfortable with it, I don’t like anybody invading my personal space, he kept begging and pleading so I changed my mind and decided to help him.

I accommodated this guy on what he came to my house to do, fed him, gave him money, gave him contacts, all these I did without asking for anything, even when he brought foodstuffs I didn’t for once ask him to give my any.

After he got his feet and got a place to stay and was able to move, I was at work so I just wished him well, by the time I came back he was gone.

I didn’t notice anything yet until, I was just going through my room and found out some of my watches, original iPhone12 pro max charger, shoes and laptop bag are missing.

As the guy above said, not all Nigerians are.. even the whites do this. my friend's ex-roommate (a white girl) did exactly this same to her - took all her furniture and electronics, while she briefly travelled to another city.

Bad character transcends country or race.. Personally I don't have such character or upbringing.

Have you been able to reach the guy? If yes demand him to return your items at once or you report him... If no, contact his friend on this.

I want Nigerian to hear our story of a fraudulent company established by Akwa state government called "stringe manufacturing company " in Onna Akwa state. It was established by the current governor and sited in his LGA. The company gave us LPO in March 2022 to supply Diesel. We borrowed money and did the supply the same March. They supposed to pay by May according to the terms and conditions on the LPO but till today no payment. We have done everything humanly possible but to no avail. My partner is facing a serious threat from people that borrowed us money for the supply so he hinted me that he may consider suicide if the pressure continues.
Please somebody should link me with some of big journalists who can help us and your advice is also welcome.

Sorry to hear this unfortunate situation. First of all, suicide is never an option.

I want to believe the state Governor himself must have already given approval for payment of all supplies/suppliers. Maybe Heads/Superiors of the Agency or LG boss in charge has cornered this funds.

My suggestion:
1. Tell your partner to try his 'desperate' best to meet the Governor thru top govt Officials, Royal fathers, people of influence in your state.

2. If no avail, he should go to the press (including social media) with his full information with supporting documents to publicly inform the world about this. Politicians fear negative publicity about them.. this is make the govt. to respond quickly and decisively.

Go Public! Don't keep Shut..

3. Your partner will need to spend some funds to get this mission achieved ok.

you need a manifesto. How are you going to provide stable electricity? Where are you going to get the money? Are you going to use hydro, thermal, nuclear,or gas?
How are you going to solve the issue of education?
How are you going to provide food sufficiency?
