Mama, if you go to remote areas, even a baby of 1 month do take akamu. Just that it will be watery.

Thank God for civilization, most olden days mothers fed their kids with akamu, and nothing happens.

pour hot water into a bucket, u can add a little eucalyptus oil (I don't add though), sit on a stool and then tell someone to cover you and baby with big towel.

Pls, don't put the baby's face into the bucket o, u can do it morning and night.

You can as well be massaging the chest, ribs and back with hot water. You will see a different within 3 days.

Keep using the olive oil and if u can get Jimpo ori or opeoluwa Shea butter, it will go. We are experiencing it too and I have stopped washing her hair daily. Now once in a week. I just rub water so I can comb whenever we didn't plait.

U can do steaming for her to help her clear her chest.

My son started having eela on his face about three weeks ago... I apply sudocrem on any one that appears and within hours it will dry up but his face is very hard, dry and somehow scaly. We plugged "fruit" leaves and red flower, boiled them and uses it to bath him. Its been 3 weeks but my baby's face is still rough, his head is full of eela (he didn't have hair when he was born so his head is scanty which makes it easy to see his scalp) his scalp is always dry, with dandruff -like and ringworm stuffs. I keep applying coconut oil but no improvement. I'm just tired, I feel he's not adding weight like he should, he was born 3kg, he'd be 10weeks on Thursday and I feel he's not even more that 4/4.5kg.

Try cacatin cream, and also look for Jimpo ori. Cacatin is 100 while the ori is 800-1000

yes, it's mostly written in an appointment letter that you give a month notice before leaving and if you are leaving immediately, you are to forfeit one month salary.

So read ur appointment letter to see the terms and conditions there

With my first, we started @6 months. He was purging then, so in order to minimize the use of diapers, immediately I see the sign, it's straight to the potty. And it really helped, just that all of a sudden, he will just enter the kitchen and poo there or one corner at d sitting room. Sometimes, he will get up from the potty and poo on the floor.

It probably means you favoured one over the other when feeding. I think it's nothing to worry about, both will return to flat slippers normal in a few more days. For now stop expressing, use cabbage leaves for relief or di.clofenac

Exactly, that's always the end result of feeding with one than the other. My experience.

it will come back to the same size. I experienced it while breastfeeding my son. I I got used to breastfeeding him with my right breast @d initial stage of lactation, thereby resulting to one breast producing milk (you can imagine the view). It was so obvious that one breast was bigger than the other. Not that d other was not producing milk but very minimal. So throughout our 18 months of breastfeeding, it was only one breast all through.

To cut the long story short, both came back to same size after weaning.

Try and be massaging with hot water. It gives faster relief. All d best.

I don't know if it's a coincidence, my baby has been battling with stuffed nose and cough for the past 2days. I decided to experiment this afternoon with coconut oil, using cotton bud to apply it into her nose. Lo and behold, the relief she got was amazing. I was able to suck it out very well and she has been sleeping since then and can breathe well as well.

I will repeat the procedure later.

For those that their LOs are having similar issues, no harm in trying. It's coconut oil and not harmful.

hmm, my fear all d time. God used my boss for me, he allowed me to be bringing her to the office. To cap it all, his daughter which is my colleague has been helping a lot by carrying her. Manager too no carry last, he is so understanding.
