Flying Eagles midfielder Abdullahi Alfa has explained how he felt after he was excluded from the Flying Eagles’ 21-man squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The 18-year-old has been an integral part of Manu Garba’s team right from the last U17’s and made the trip to Germany for the team’s training camp before the final squad was announced, but was conspicuously missing from the list.I feel for him sha, better luck next time dude

And he says he couldn’t eat the night he was told he wouldn’t be going to New Zealand.

“I was shocked,” he said. “I couldn’t eat that night when I was told I won’t be a part of the team.

“I cried all night and my teammates had to console me but it wasn’t enough because I had so much hope and expectation,” he said.

He however went on to say he’s now trying to look beyond the disappointment and focus on his future.

“It has happened and there is nothing I can do about it. I’m still a young player so now I have to concentrate on my future and my career.

“It was sad but it is not the end of the world so now I have to move on,” he stated.

Success will definitely make U20 team barring any injuries as there is NO Naija 20 striker (yes!..including iheanacho) that is as good as he is!
And Two..
Whether you play qualifiers or not, a star player is a star player if its assured that he will give the team the extra "Oomph" to succeed and he will also be given preferential treatment over you if you not make the cut!

Any particular reason this daily banning has resumed again?

Our educational system is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad now, imagine students scoring 210 and posting on Facebook ow happy dey are bout tye score. Remember back in the day wen we scored 250 something, we will be scared to tell our parents... Chai abi plss ppl is it not over 400 anymore
