Walking over a corpse is a piece of cake if she's innocent.

Previous activities make people become wary that they barely outlive some ancient practices.

1. A traditional Nigerian man carries 100% of the financial weight in marriage. That is the culture which makes men kings in marriage. So if OP wants to kill himself. Culture sanctions it. undecided
See your head like Culture.

Ancient African men and Kings who carried the whole financial burden had their wives supporting/handling one of their businesses or trade at the market to support the home but in this case she does something else (Salary Job) she is supposed to support as an African Woman.

Hello all, I need to know if I'm doing some things right or over reacting.

My wife and I just married some months ago and we just spend here and there on stuffs. I bought food stuffs in the house and told her I will place her on 40k monthly to cover for soups and all and I expect her to add to it if it's not enough.

I foot all bills- house rent, Power, and all . She earns a decent 6 figures salary also which is slightly higher than mine without the allowances I get.

She expects me to still give her another allowance apart from the 49k I give her for food.

Each time she buys stuff in the house she always want me to pay back in full; most times, I just pay a part of it which she always frowns and complains about.

It appears she has a notion that her money is her money and mine is ours.

My income is more than hers though.

Do you think I should still give her personal pocket money?
If you have control over your family as the head of the home, then make her spend her salary on feeding and other subtle expenses, that way, she won't even save much monthly that will make her want to rant with you someday.

She may tell people that she feeds you daily but then she knows you can do without her and you may also choose to use her words against her.

Pay all the major bills like rent and buying of properties, well if you don't have control over your home.... Then I am sorry for you.

Na Logic we dae use cool

I am here. I have a barbing saloon with 2 barbers, I have my own car that I use for cab hailing. And every month I bring out at least 70k to support my parents from my earnings because of their condition. I still have a wife at home. And I am not complaining. Please the situation you may considering isn't what it is.
Wow, you have achieved all these and I am sure you sister isn't married yet but you don't think about that.

Don't compare the financial capacity of a man to that of a woman, she may have hidden struggles, somehow I feel if you weren't too judgemental and started flowing with her well, you may understand her predicament.

It has happened to me, a sister too but she's not in overseas.

How can she be earning such amount and 500 dollars ll go for house rent?

May’s sister who was at the scene said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today. After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and that’s when he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital.
Not everyone can survive this rigorous stress to learning and writing exams, then playing football altogether.

During exams/lecture days when I just closed from night shifts, I usually find a quiet hall to sleep at every break to make sure I don't faint.

Proper guidance should be given to wards, after reading overnight and writing exams for hours, he should have simply gone somewhere to rest instead of playing football (another stressful activity).

RIP Man.

TheMaterialist:
I don't condone suicide but i read avery peculiar
tale.

A philosopher had a friend, his friend was very
rich and powerful, he had a wife and several
children, estates and lots of servants.

The man was now very old and he had lost
interest in life, he had lost the will to live.

He felt his life was without purpose.

The rich man went to the philosopher and
discussed his problem with him, the philosopher
tried to encourage the man to continue living,
that he still has a family and servants to take
care of, that his life was already perfect and there was no reason for him to commit suicide.

The rich man disagreed vehemently, saying that
he had completed his mission in life, that he
was also oversaturated with life's pleasures and
they did not appeal to him anymore.

The rich man told the philosopher that he had
made up his mind to commit suicide.

Having tried to convince the rich man, but to
no avail, the philosopher told the rich man that
if he had made up his mind to commit suicide,
he still had to die with dignity and honour.

The philosopher advised the man to set up his
final will, and share all his wealth and properties
between his family,friends and servants.

So, the richman did as he was told.

On the day he was to commit suicide, he called
all his family, friends and servants, he told them
what he was about to do, they try to discourage
him, but it was too late.

He told his lawyer to read the will in front of him,
after he was satisfied at how his wealth would
be shared, he gave his family, friends and
servants one last hug.

Then he went to his bathtub, where a warm bath
had been prepared for him, he took a knife,
entered the bath, slit his wrists and relaxed,
while all this was happening, his wife and
children were mourning, even his servants.

An hour later, they entered the bathroom and
saw his lifeless body in a pool of blood.

Till today, most people could not fully understand
his motivations to commit suicide.

It was one of those rare situations where a rich
person commits suicide.
Your story portrays an old man not a young lad.

And also, taken apart " ....25% ..." in the FCT determining the winner , would be giving the power to FCT, over and above ALL 36 states put together.
Meaning;
One who loses power of highest vote and not attain 25% but despite not having all these requirements but only wins 25% in the FCT would still be declared the winner??

Initially I was only keen on cash transactions for my products and due to CBN brouhaha, I shut my stores for days...and guess what? Customers kept thronging my phone with calls. You know why? Because my products are a necessity and they can't get it any other place within my axis.
They pleaded with me to get POS. So I did. Therefore they should be responsible for the inconvenience I get with POS transactions.
I'm not being fair? I'm bad? Well, if you don't want to incur #100 charges per purchase, pay me with cash!

And oh, lest I forget, I only accept new naira notes.
What made me quote you wasn't POS transactions, you must be some jumping frog.

It was about transfers made to your account not transactions involving debit cards.

Bank charges #50 for every incoming deposit.
If you are not comfortable with my business then swerve to another merchant.
My regular customers have always been receptive of the #100 charges. And guess what? I get frequent patronising from them, unlike these one-time customers whose patronage are few and far between.
😂

Look at this one, I do transactions everyday, only deposit above 9,999 receive #50 charges, dey use yourself talk nonsense.

Moreover people now use Opay, Palmpay and Kuda, yet I went to a place and the seller still charges #100 for each transfer despite Opay being completely free, I was annoyed at the seller and had to resend #100 for the food I ate.

It happens, we are bad people but we only call the government bad 👎

As per intimidation. For every action, there is an opposite reaction. Why always Ibo insulting their host. The only reason this has not turned into a tribal riot is because this same Yoruba are peaceful people. If they were hausas, na another story we for dey talk now like the pogroms just before Biafra war.
Go ahead and kill innocent souls if you wish, their bloods will be on your hands till the 4th generation, if violence sorted out anything, there still won't be cries for Biafra.

The Biafran race isn't supported by all Igbos, it's mostly the uneducated, poor and loud ones that usually bring up the topic, personally as an Igbo I have been ashamed by the level of reasoning of some Igbos around me.

Most of them have no physical investments anywhere aside SE, imagine me having to sell my lands and others in Delta State then run because I want Biafra.

Nigeria is One and I want you to understand that there are myopic people from every tribe, I have met many amongst Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Italy, Idoma, Urhobo and etc. They are usually the loudest.

Even the whites that settled in South Africa, Australia, and Canada from several centuries ago do not call those places no man's land despite being the ones that developed them.
Then does it warrant the violence and victimization?

And you will never hear an Hausa/Fula/Kanuri/Edo/Ijaw/Itsekiri e.t.c call Lagos no man's land. It's always the ibos.
Lagos has been ruled by non indigenes, most of the occupants are foreigners and the state was built by people from diverse cultures.

It's safe to call it a no man's land, doesn't mean it's not for the Yorubas.

Feeling threatened is a sign of inferiority complex, the Igbos didn't say it's their land and they are not the only tribes there, where the fault lies is that they said so, rather it's not a lie.
