@stpat1 Don't be ashamed. You learnt. The cost of the lesson you learnt needs mitigation, though. Thank you, mayor2013. Apologies won't go far, when one denies responsibility. There is more to do, mazdaengineparts. Give something back! @stpat1 What's up, now? |
^Thank you. Please can you explain which of above 12 faults will be temporarily corrected by "push-to-start"? What mechanical and/or electrical occurrence make "push-to-start" possible? |
Bro, I booked an appointment for my Accord 02, v6 last week. No invite. Car sometimes refuses to start after cranking, repeatedly "gassing out". It runs like a dream, having replaced the 2 front tyres. I switch off and wait, pump the accel pedal and just keep waiting and trying. Please help. |
Thanks, Piyke!! ... but don't you think 5W-20 is a little too thin for cars well over a decade old? That's my only reason for using 5W-30. |
@thebigkendo, SmartchoicesNG I drive o! ... but work is close to home and I didn't use it in my journeys this year. I guess it's Mobil-1 (US) or Coastal again. ... and SmartchoicesNG? My engine and "tyre legs" are as sound as a pin. |
@Piyke I'm close to 3, 000 miles on my V6, 7 months already. Is that 8k oil a 5W-30? Do you mind posting pictures? |
@VargasVee Angels were not given freewill. They wanted it. God gave you freewill. Would you rather be without it? God wants a relationship. HE has tried the no-freewill route before. There will always be a choice with something which HE restricts access to, for a time. (The "Tree of Life" will be eaten from much later) Prove to God that you don't need freewill to relate with Him...? |
@Thesurvivor How're you holding up? I thank God with you. Your employer and how he got the "Chief Amadi's" number are suspect. They will be caught. |
@ Gazzuzz: Thought you'd sell? Why change number plate? You can renew till present and get 'Change of Ownership' letter from previous owner for use temporarily, until you sell. Car looks low by design, even with R16 tyres. Maybe all Accords were designed as scrapers... ![]() |
Oga, I fit come check this car out one of these days? Just to hear the engine sound. I fit peep from gate or climb tree, I no mind... |
Please introduce your boss to us... How much did that "clean" engine cost? It appears to be scarce. Am I right? Does Gazzuzz do upholstery? Will Gazzuzz return odometer reading to true value? ...all these and more in the all-new episode |

Therefore you now do Hyundai!
Lemme go and broadcast this piece of news... |
Hello AutoElectng, Will you handle Honda dealer recalls/ fixes - SRS, floormat/pedal problems, sensor failure - for the Nigerian customer? |
Nice Toyota. One-of-a-kind colour, too! Well done, Gazzuzz! P.S. I am NOT the owner of the car in question. |
This leaves LASTMA free to act/ rake in fines. The fines in most parts are higher than the State's minimum wage. I am waiting for the State to be sued for the damage from bad roads on vehicles, just the same way vehicles which develop mechanical faults are towed for not less than fifteen thousand naira (in conjunction with privately-owned tow-trucks). |
So this is why Gazzuzz left the 'Remote Repair pic' thread? Hmmm. Nice work too, diportivo. We met about 2weeks ago, remember? @ Gazzuzz: I'm on leave, will balance/align tyres when I get back to Lagos. My elder brother's Corolla '02 radiator fan comes up with his ignition. Has it been connected directly? (Car has only 1 fan) |
The spate of inland seizures and discoveries is shocking! Were contraband goods actually declared, paid for and cleared at entry ports? Recovering underpayments is commendable. Anti-smuggling in so-called "land-locked" areas is not. |
Hmmm. Shields are up, so the sword is down. I am more preoccupied with earning a legitimate income, than trying (and risking failure) to commercialise my ideas. To venture to correct, repair or develop society as I should as a parent, I need to pick the sword up and teach my kids how. I cannot do that fully when I'm blocking all manner of vices just to live and provide decently. That is, am I investing the tools for societal development in my kids? The "curiosity" and all? I haven't finished seeing to it that their names are on lists where qualified, that they get fair chance when merited, that I show strength in resisting the enveloping societal greed and cave-in. In other world centres, the system is more even-handed, more straightforward. The sword can be picked up, even at 70 years of age. Are Nigerian parents the bane? Yes, each successive generation, each succeeding generation. That includes what the next parental generation, the youth want. There is not yet a nation to think great about. |
You see, my point is that parents try to prepare their children for the sort of world challenges they faced. This wouldn't work when the dynamics change so. They were thinkers, which led to greater urbanisation and more privately-owned industries/SMEs than they met. Impact on banking, inter-tribal marriages, entrepreneurship, religion and manufacturing from their mould of Christianity-by-pious-practitioners, Civil Service-by-your-degree, etc. I feel that because the youth of today do not think as a nation, do not think development, they will initiate child trainings to protect against (wrong use)Technology, "talent" identification (to the detriment of maturity) and anti (fraudulent) religious choices leaving nationhood to suffer. Such citizens will not think of the betterment of their society as much as that of themselves. Same mistake, no curse. |
Good argument, fair points... ... but it is also true that there hasn't been a "black" nation in recent time/ for centuries. The last ones (mentioned above as African "civilisations") were deliberately fragmented. The 'development' you compare ours to evolved within a fairly harmonious (race-based) context (in the main). We still haven't formed any nations yet. Today's parents have taught what they commonly felt was the best approach, based on their outlook-personal lessons and experiences from colonisation, colonial religion/education, civil war, Civil Service-and how it affects quality of life. The politics and struggle for true nationhood still preoccupies the youth. Coupled with new-generation exposure to (inappropriately used) Technology, talent-to-riches (Entertainment-wise), largely negative/fraudulent religious practices (as against the previous generation's colonial experience) and poor quality of economic/social life, I fear the coming generation is even less prepared. |
I rushed here thinking the thread was back alive. Mtchewwww! Maybe Gazzuzz should move this thread to "Diary" section? |
Those were not militants. They were "Libyan" herdsmen. |
@Explorers, "Lada" didn't change much? |
JideSM:Thank you very much for your help, JideSM. I have implemented the contents of your email. Good results, but not excellent. NL webpage loads now, but I do not think the Whatsapp or Hotspot works as the BB symbol isn't up. It's steady on 3G now, though. I'll still be patient, as I do believe something "tripped" about 3 days ago on your network... |
@JideSM, tayoccu Hello, I use a Bold5, MTN subscription. I've been having problems (for about 2 days now) sending messages on Whatsapp and BBM. The deadline is June 2017, is it not? Customer Service thinks my APN is wrong and that I need a reset. It's something more. Anyone who's resolved this issue should please share how. |

Due to frequent losses, I plan to get a Toolbox set. I keep losing combination spanners 10, 12, 13 and 14. The 8-spanner I gave out for someone's radio (or window) repair was replaced with something substandard-looking. Na where to "arrange" spare 20k na him remain. I have found my Allen key-6 most helpful for plug cleaning. |
GAZZUZZ:Thank you! |
@luvinhubby: You hurt me o! I didn't get any real feedback from you on the Toyota ATF (T-4) I planned to send down East (that is, after your Fellowship) @ luvinhubby, GAZZUZZ: My Accord 02 V6 cranks, but doesn't start. You could drive from a car park to the front of a building, park and assist with luggage. Starting up will be an embarrassing 15 minute cranking without starting. Fuel at half-tank. Started about a month ago. Battery doesn't dim during cranking. I've scanned, no codes. I've tried pumping the accelerator before starting, didn't work. Tried switching on ignition for awhile before kicking, no way. Please help me speak with my car... |
@saintjoel Burst whatever pipeline and integrate the database first! The Federal Government should stop making its citizens pay for its lapses. Cars smuggled across the border do not turn transparent at checkpoints or the Vehicle Registration office. The repeat-and-redo has been forced for international passports, voters' cards, new plate numbers, LASRRA, NIMC, BVN, Tax card and everything in between! |
TR1212: Looked-up those sites? Are they fitting? |
Can anyone confirm feedstock will still be piped from Bayelsa? |
