TR1212: Looked-up those sites? Are they fitting? |
Can anyone confirm feedstock will still be piped from Bayelsa? |
This new, shameless practice of the Nigerian Customs is really getting out of hand. They have finally settled into reacting only. After clearing items, they now raid warehouses to find pump-action guns, bags of rice and tyres. Now they want to raid the biggest warehouse in Nigeria (i.e. the highways) for items that they cleared in the first place! Well, they are related to Immigration...who are always embroiled in employment scams. |
Was reminded of the Igbo word for "hunter". Nice! |
No pain, PaperLace/Uboma... I'm glad the OP only supposes the story is true. UniLag's TH and LASU's TH were mixed-up and I simply brought forth statistics from counselling, as the article ended with a reference to stats. There's the male ward, female ward and children's. Those you wish had incomes are in the children's ward. It's a full hospital, pardon my looking at other sexes. In case you missed this, the man was callous. He behaved like adults who will not donate blood to their children (of either sex). I choose to see beyond what I'm shown. |
Ishilove, I do get tired of some "anti-male" posts as this. Callous of the man. Very. ...but at the Abuse Centre of same Teaching Hospital and LASUTH, slides are shown with statistics which prove that most head wounds on men were inflicted by women - with rising figures, as at 2016. If you're married, do take your husband's blood pressure before, during and after pregnancy. |
I have searched NL Car Talk, but didn't find a previous thread on this. FRSC officers here present, I have decided to relocate my extinguisher from the trunk to underneath the driver's seat, in hope that I have the presence of mind to remember in an emergency. Most burning cars (fuel, not electrical) begin either in front of or behind the car cabin. Valid point? |
somegirl1:@ somegirl: You really believe that? I sent you a PM with evidence of "well above-average attractiveness" and I haven't gotten a reply yet... |
Hello All, Finally it's getting windy and cold. The wind picks up tiny insects - especially sugar-ants - and tosses them through mosquito nets and onto towels and bed spreads. Disoriented ants wander about biting down on moving skin and clothes. For those with new-borns, iron the child's clothes after washing, inspect bed-linens for ants, inspect pyjamas for ants, strip child and bathe child for inexplicable crying (clothe with new set/ lay down on new set of linens), inspect towels. I lack space to tell of the ant's joy near children's pillows and mouths. Spilled/ regurgitated, milky, sugary foods abound there. Put your head down and closely inspect for this wind-borne "attack". Good luck! P.S. Use lotion! Static electricity from dry skn and dry clothes is back in town! |
Gazzuzz, why? Why? |
I tracked it down...

@sooperrescue, anneki Please say something about this "new" brand, Pertamina Fastron Gold 5W30. It hit the market and I cannot recall what spec was on the (mostly green) label. |
So, weeks back I bought a digital tyre air pressure gauge online. I pumped-up the tyres at my roadside "vulcaniser's". I checked at home with my gauge...and none of my tyres was below 57psi! I believe age and use have degraded the spring in many roadside "vulcaniser's" equipment. (I had checked with him, as I requested 40psi). I have let out air to my desired 30psi. *DIY equipment keep increasing! Tools, scanner, gauge, air pump(?), compressor(?). Why should EVERYONE have to have everything?! |
How did you resist the urge to immediately stop and inspect? Riding beside my elder brother along Choba road to Rumuokoro roundabout (Bayelsa to PH road) years ago, he ran into a pothole on high speed in the dark. The incident actually dented the non-alloy rim. Car rode rough until rim was replaced. |

@ifyalways: Good deed. Hope he understood. @Felicity2: I tried the generic NL mail. That would still push initiation back at you. How else? |
I have wanted to speak on this for sometime. I was hoping it would be to parents in church. Sometimes, the challenges are within the home - where the child (or children) sees parents not exhibiting the spirit of the letter preached- to external circles (one not mentioned is the inconvenience). This is waiting for parents for several hours after a Service for long meetings, where you see/ hear all sorts. Then beiing taken to places because there's no one to drop you off with; where again, you see all sorts. The pressure is enormous! Seeing the Pastor-Dad tired and with body pains will require a maturity to understand. There should be no room for insincere attractions of interest, especially from parents with worse-behaved children. |
Hian! Just look at my expensive thread! People trying to teach me to do mai shai ontop engine! We have moved from recession to depression. I cannot comman be cooking upandan and block engine. Oya, more hacks...(be like "ingenious" confuse some people ![]() |
Here again to learn from (and impress?) Ogas here (Gazzuzz, kingreign, mayor2013, Siena?, Ikenna?) Anyway, I saved some money in this economy and want to share how. This is beyond DIY car servicing. This is money-saving in recession. Here goes: I cleaned my air filter in soapy water with a toothbrush and dried it with compressed air. It looked so new! Since I wasn't sure of the material it was made of, I didn't use any solvents. Oya, please share yours. I'm waiting for (new) tyre hacks... |
Please, Mods, Ajumogobia(SAN) is not same as Ofili-Ajumogobia(SAN). @ topic: I am waiting for convictions and the trials of the Executive/ political class, the Legislature (ie Trial continuance) and the Law Enforcement. ...till 2019... |
Good morning! How good is ABRO ATF for use as power steering fluid? |
The truth is somewhere in the middle... ...I've never heard anyone confirm that the land extends to oilwells and the edge of the sea. That could increase its value. 13 BILLION for land alone needs a very cogent reason. Amaechi should re-value the asset to satisfy himself. The result will be either to invite the EFCC or to request money from Mr. Kachikwu. |
I notice that even license plates that aren't government-issued do not have any Arabic translation. I wonder why the uproar with Arabic lettering removal from naira notes and Nigeria Army emblem? |
There's a particular mentality responsible for (cyclical) dating, in my opinion. Perhaps, the term "dating" in this context needs to be clarified. Getting to know someone well enough for marriage presumes so much exclusive time invested, that I do not know how other friendships cannot be affected. To the question proper, challenges like medical reasons and parental refusal *MAY* create cyclical dating patterns, but in the absence of external factors, knowing someone and his/her family and background takes about a year. Knowing what you want to look for and working to avoid UNNECESSARY external factors should take less than 5cycles, mathematically speaking... ![]() |
I have not invested in MMM. For now, I have no desire to do so. I write because it's odd to see comments on this thread by people who supported that big churches pool resources and "invest" in agriculture, as a way to reduce unemployment. Imagine, one thread yesterday asking the church for funds; another today, condemning the "growth" of funds! So it becomes clear that same mischievous people (about 30% in both threads) know for a fact that the *primary* aim of the church is to win souls. Said church is given "corporate social responsibility", payment of taxes and advice for contribution to reduce unemployment (since there are private jet owners). Said church should grow funds in ways not yet constitutionally illegal. Both ideas stand together or not at all. |
Sorry to come in at a tangent... How do you know the interior of this clean-looking toks? Things like mileage covered, age, condition of its timing belt? |
