quentin06:Why you wicked like this? |
Urheadmaster:Oga, abeg leave Nigeria out of this. Na for Delta state dem dey carry man and woman matter for head.... Their men go just wake up without shishi for pocket but to nack go dey hungry dem....very yeye set of people. Common to pay bride price for woman dem no dey fit...Na so so Action Bitter sachet dem dey tear dey drink... Apologies to the few wey their heads correct. |
GuyWise101:"... giving conditions and explanations on how the country can move forward....." Anambra wey him rule before don move forward? Obi isn't anywhere close to Tinubu abeg. Tinubu pass am. |
asanausana91:What you said is a fact. No sincere, informed person will argue that. Jonathan was pressured, but he chose to be inconsiderate and selfish, as he will always be. Shey, e don sidon for Abuja now, as water dey ravage him people....he couldn't build a single dam with the billions of ecological funds that came in under his presidency...yeye man! I no dey wan remember r'am. There is no moral justification whatsoever as you rightly said. 1999 to 2023 is a 24 year period. Obasanjo and Jonathan, both Southern Christians, did 14 years of the 24 years...yet someone comes here to spew half-truths about religion and how it is the turn of the South. Who Christian president 'epp? I am a Southerner, but I agree with you about the clear absence of morality in that demand. I often tell people, Buhari is such a good, selfless and peaceful man. If na me be Buhari, I go ensure say a sound Northerner like Zulum or Buba-Marwa secured the APC presidential ticket....carry someone like Ogbonnaya Onu, or go find one articulate, untainted Igbo son like Chukwuemeka Chikelu take balance am as running mate. Afterall the NE / SE are the two most marginalized regions in the country. By now, nobody for dey talk about Agbado, Obi-ediots and Atikulate.... Aside from Alhaji Balewa, who was brutally murdered in his prime, as Prime Minister, no person from the NE has been president of Nigeria. For the SE, the last time someone from the region came anywhere close to the presidency was around 40 years ago. This would have made a watertight political case for Buhari to bring in persons from those two regions, and discard all these rigmaroling, lying opportunists. This arrangement would better reward Nigeria and Nigerians, in the long run, especially in assuaging steaming regional tensions, than all of these nonsensical considerations. Come to think of it, who among these presidential candidates fit match Zulum or Marwa sef? Make we even think am? |
DadaHammed:This has nothing to do with religion. We are getting away from the proclivities of tribe and religion. The North-South consideration should be the only rational balancing framework as we move on. If it comes down South, let the most prepared region, competent candidate take it; and vice versa. However, if you genuinely believe that this should be about religion or tribe, then let us allow people who are neither Christians nor Muslims, Hausa / Fulani, Yoruba nor Igbo, take their turn...I mean, traditional African worshippers, atheists etc, Jukums, Igalas, Esans, Efiks, Igbiras, Idomas, Kambaris.... Abi, no be God create dem....or dem no follow be Nigerians.... ...abi na because people from other beliefs, outside Christianity and Islam, never demand for their own worship / sacred days abi? Fact is, people from these other faiths are the real reason Nigeria is still united and strong. Their selflessness and unwavering commitment to humanity remains responsible for the relative peace that the country still enjoys. If dem leave Nigeria for 'Christians' and 'Muslims' hands alone, the country for don sink since. |
Friend22:U dey mind dem? Dem no dey fit separate facts from emotions. |
iwaeda:Nigerians are better of with Agbado, Ewa etc, at least those are foods... Not lies, deceit and history of poor performance. |
HarlequinLekex:You comment gave you out... You just succeeded in describing yourself. |
slivertongue:Don't be lazy...make findings. He won the case where he insisted that the president does not have the power to unilaterally appoint National Service Chiefs without recourse to the National Assembly. What of the one in which he secured convictions against Bode George and others at the High & Appeal Courts, which was later upturned by the apex court. There was also the one in favour of the ex deputy governor of Adamawa, Bala Ngilari, which saw his supposed resignation as unconstitutional, leading to his being sworn in as substantive governor, upon the impeachment of Murtala Nyako. Keyamo has received several recognitions, awards and accolades globally, including a nomination for the World Medal of Honour Award by the American Geographical Institute as far back as 2003. So, no be grammar... |
Kenneth4u205:Then, you don't know politics. Wike got Rivers votes. Hunger dey the land...don't judge using yourself. Votes will be massively sold and bought. The real reason for the high new voters registration figures is for cashing out...if you think it is for Obi, then you be learner. The voters cards are for cashing out. Nobody politicians help, including Obi. I don't know why, as Nigerian youths, we look but we don't see. Atiku win PDP ticket as highest bidder. Tinubu win APC ticket as highest bidder too. Obi go oppress them for LP collect ticket....why couldnt he do that in PDP? Kwankwaso collect for NNPP...for February, Nigerians go collect too just as delegates collect. Save this post and check on me after February 2023. |
dapsoneh:You dey mind the mumu Rufai Oseni? You want a man to show up for an interview with you when the whole world knows your stance regarding him...no be mumu thing be that? Only a foolish man would honour such an invitation. It is just like Buhari building heaven on earth and relocating Igbos there....that will never make them like him. You don't waste precious time and resources on people who dislike you, inherently. Just do what you have to do, and leave the rest. |
gidgiddy:That is the reason he is special. He doesn't succumb to pressure. Who be Arisetv? Who dem help? Interview na by force? He must not grant Arisetv an interview. It is within his rights. Rufai Oseni that disrespects and disparages people and institutions he has issues with, acting like he is overly intelligent...no be small Lagos police humble am with proof of disobeying traffic rules by using the BRT lane. E no pay fine after going online to mislead the public? He thinks he could always use the power of the media against everyone? When Tinubu be Senator or Governor, where Arisetv dey? Abi na today interview start? |
abobote:Tinubu is way better than Osinbajo. You may never know this. Governance is about building a solid team. It is not a one man show. Oga, you too go old. Being old isn't the same as being unwell. From your comment, I can deduce that you are one of those that think Buhari is dead and who will have is one Jubril from Sudan. Old age isn't a death sentence. Anybody can die or be unwell at anytime. Na old age kill Yar'dua abi Abacha or Ironsi? |
slivertongue:No, he is not. He is one of Nigeria's smartest lawyers. Leave politics aside. Keyamo has got outstanding intellect. |
lexy2014:Lol. Inqui-shit-tive, you meant? There is no single question you asked that I didn't answer. Being inquisitive shouldn't make anyone unnecessarily repetitive or irrational. Go back and read my response and you would find all the answers to your questions. My answers do not have to align with your expectations to qualify as answers. For instance, for your first question, I had said that the 'we' meant Nigerians. There is no sane Nigerian that doesn't know the role Atiku played in the privatization of public corporations in Nigeria. Even, Obasanjo called him 'Ole' and wrote about his financial impropriety in his book - My Watch. Name...list... whichever.... Obi's landmark projects in Anambra state. I even named Obiano's landmarks projects for you...yet you are here grappling with the meaning of landmark. Only someone that is unsmart wouldn't know that the yardstick for electing a government should be the 'capacity to create and expand wealth' and use those wealth to solve societal problems. How do you solve the myriad of economic challenges that the people face or fulfill electioneering promises or even enhance the welfare of the masses without expansion in revenues? You couldn't even go to the NBS records, to check past IGR performances by governors in various states to compare Obi and Tinubu, you think you can just come here and mislead people. Imagine you asking how much Obi was supposed to add to the state's IGR after 8 years as governor? Where is the sense in that question when I already told you that Ngige raised Anambra's IGR by 9 times what he met in less than 2 years from N800million in 2004 to N7.4billion in 2006....you still dey ask yeye question. I was hoping that you would use superior findings to disprove my figures instead you are here rigmaroling. Nairaland be like your village square where you go just come talk without facts? |
Urheadmaster:How is Obi the best candidate? By disenfranchising Ndi Anambra and not conducting LGA elections for 8 whole years? By not accounting for LGA funds in 8 years but claiming to have saved the state N57billion, a good chunk of which was lodged in his Fidelity Bank? By not taking responsibility for the corpses found in a river in the state, Ezzu river if I still recall correctly - an unfortunate incident that occurred under his watch? By adding just N1billion to Anambra's IGR after 8 years, whereas Ngige grew the state's IGR by 9 times what he met on ground in less than 2 years ( N800million in 2004 to N7.4billion in 2006 prior to Obi's emergence through a Supreme Court verdict). Kindly refer to records from the NBS. If you want if fit post Anambra IGR records for the past twenty years here, make you take your eye see am. We Igbos dey talk say 'dem no dey use mirror take look wetin dem wear for hand'. Is Obi the best for not having signature programs, policy and projects in Anambra state? Name one if you believe otherwise. By remaining one of those huge import driven businessmen who ensure Nigeria stays on her knees by devaluing of her currency....those who take away decent have jobs from millions of Nigerian youths only to enslave a few with jobs that pay peanuts as wages. In case you were bad in economics, nothing devalues a country's currency more than importation. And let me tell you again here for free, Buhari's agricultural revolution is the reason we still have a currency, otherwise na tissue paper naira for don become. When I hear people talk irrationally about how a bag of rice was N7000 or so before 2015...Jonathan this, Obasanjo that.... but now N40,000...I just laugh. The simple truth is this, but for the Anchor Borrower's Scheme and the huge investment in agriculture by the current FG ( and ofcourse the substantial forex savings that resulted), Nigerians for don forget say food wey dem dey call rice exist ever before...if either Jonathan or Obasanjo were to be in power today, Nigeria would have been lost...I mean lost completely. Na Buhari dey rule France, UK abi US wey food, fuel and commodity prices dey cause protests all over? Abi aren't their clamours for wage increase and strikes all over the world? Only 45 days sef, Liz Truss say she no fit do again. I think that the world is yet to appreciate the magnitude of the economic challenges that confronts her. Back to Peter Obi, oga I am from Anambra state. I won't argue with you on Peter Obi emptily. I will give you facts. Obi is from Agulu in Anaocha LGA, which is less than 10 minutes drive from my town. I loathe nepotism and petty tribalism. Anambra people rejected Obi's candidates, Obaze and Ozigbo, for Anambra governorship for two consecutive, most recent elections. While Tinubu and Atiku are no saints...you need to ask yourself why Lagos and Lagosians have kept faith with Tinubu despite leaving office since 2007...he brought Fashola, Ambode and now Sanwoolu. Why do the people still trust him? Don't just hate. Ask why? Why only him? Where are those that served with him as governors across the 36 states? Ask why... The IGR of Lagos has risen from a meagre N600million to more than N50billion today; and Lagos now competes and is placed at par with some of Africa's largest economies. Today, Lagos is the prime destination for youths and people seeking better economic opportunities in Nigeria...either in commerce, tech, entertainment, banking, transport / logistics environment, entrepreneurship, innovation etc. Bottom line, age shouldn't be the yardstick. Competence and track records of past performance should be. It is erroneous, exuberant and misleading to come out in a public forum to say that one candidate is the best without facts to back up your claim. We can only go for a better candidate 'cos there is, genuinely, no such thing as a best candidate. |
lexy2014:I can see you are just empty... Oga, copy and paste! |
lexy2014:We means Nigerians. Is that rocket science to you? As VP, Atiku was Chairman of National Council on Privatization. What happened to Niger Dock, Federal Secretariat Ikoyi, Nigeria Railways post privatization? Should we talk about the job losses that followed? Even a mad person knows that to execute meaningful projects and create improved welfare & economic opportunities for citizens, government has to expand its revenue. So, why is that confusing to you? Now, judge Obi, Atiku and Tinubu on their capacity to create wealth? This is so simple. Tell me Obi's projects in Anambra? If he was so good, why did Anambra people consecutively reject two governorship candidates ( Oseloka Obaze and Val Ozigbo) that he backed? Why are Lagosians still keeping faith and trusting Tinubu with Lagos, despite leaving office since 2007? Lagos is the hub of mega Igbo businesses, including those of Peter Obi. Why? There must be a reason for that. Like, I said before, you have nothing to say. You are just coping and pasting what I wrote and asking questions that even the blind has answers to. |
Plus10:Not true..... He is not the best. Can we have your basis in terms of his policies, programs and projects? |
lexy2014:Oga, leave matter. You don't have what to say... I don't have time for beating about the bush. Give me Obi and Atiku's landmark projects... simple. When Tinubu emerges president in 2023....you can go and remove him. |
Cyntie55:Tinubu is tons of times better than Atiku and Obi. Is Nigeria more indebted than the US, China, Germany, France, England, Japan, Belgium etc? Being indebted isnt the issue....it is about what the borrowed funds are deployed into? |
Sodiq3:And that is the gospel truth. Only unreasonable people think that a man that imports so much, that reduced Nigeria into a mere consumption nation, will help the country become productive. Obi can't do 10% of what Buhari has done, even if he presides over Nigeria for 16 years. This is the same Obi, who couldn't leverage the entrepreneurial power of Anambrarians to expand IGR. Ngige met Anambra's IGR at N800million in 2004, grew it to N7.4billion by March 2006 before leaving office for Obi. How much did Obi grow the IGR to after 8 years? Just N8billion+..... meaning he added a meagre N1billion. Buhari flooded Nigeria with local, quality rice products within few years as president. He revamped more than 20 fertilizer blending plants, among many other outstanding accomplishments. |
lexy2014:Lol. I knew you would not be able to do any research. Oga, I am not surprised that you could not correlate the capacity for wealth expansion with the ideality of who becomes Nigeria's next president. How much was Obi supposed to add to Anambra's IGR in 8 years you asked? Lol. I will give you a fact to answer you. Ngige was sworn in May 29, 2004 to replace Mbadinuju. Anambra's IGR in 2004 was N800m. Just a year later in 2005, Ngige had grown that figure to N3.6billion, and later to N7.4billion by March 2006 when the Supreme Court brought in Obi. As for Atiku, no genuine Nigerian will question my reservations about him. Where are the public corporations Atiku oversaw their privatization and how well are they doing? Answer your questions for yourself. Aren't you amazing yourself by asking me what facts you need to check about Tinubu when I clearly said that you should check his IGR performance in Lagos state? It is even laughable that you ask the meaning of landmark? You no sabi wetin be dictionary or Google? I will give you instances right from Anambra... Obiano's landmarks include the Awka City Stadium, The Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport, the International Convention Center etc....so, give me Obi's landmark projects in Anambra, now that you know the meaning of landmark. |
Moh247:You can say that again. Buhari has no match as far as infrastructural development is concerned since 1960. As for security, I put the blame on the governors. We all saw what Fayose did as well as what Zulum is doing. Buhari has performed so well overall. |
lexy2014:"....How do Obi and Atiku have no known track record..." Whatever that means ?Make I leave you abeg, I don realize the kind person wey I dey talk with. |
Cyntie55:Peter Obi Can't win the election... You can only wish that....if he wins the SE, he should go thank goodness. Ojukwu sef no fit win any state for SE na Obi... |
lexy2014:Lol... And you think that for me to answer your question means that I have to align with what you have in mind? I answer based on facts...not to meet personal expectations of people. Let's have Obi's landmark projects in Anambra? As for Atiku, we all know the role he played in the privatization of public assets. Perhaps, we should start with the capacity to expand wealth i.e. IGR generation, which obviously should be the benchmark for assessing the presidential candidates in the face of shrinking global economies, dwindling national revenues, growing insecurity, increasing environmental concerns, rising wage increment demands, inflation, job losses and unemployment.... Obi only added N1billion to Anambra's IGR in 8 years? Go, check with the NBS. Ngige left Anambra's IGR at N7.4 billion March 2006. And by March 2014 when Obi was leaving office, Anambra's was still less than N8billion after 8 years. Go check same facts about Tinubu. |
God1000:We won't vote Obi. What did he do as governor? |
lexy2014:Based on supports from across the country....Tinubu is most likely to win. And I have responded to your question....only that you are unable to note that. I expressly clarified that I meant that only God owns life, and so long that his life is spared by God, he would win. Atiku and Obi do not seem to understand the enormity of the office they seek. If you say Obi and Atiku have track records...can we have their landmark projects? Which SE governor has followed Obi as he campaigns across the country? How many from the NE are backing Atiku? How has Atiku managed the post primary elections crisis in the PDP? Do you know the implications of going into the general elections without the support of 5 governors from one's party or not having the support of governors from your region? Go and ask Jonathan. It was the same number of governors that nailed Jonathan in 2015. No matter how you see it, getting your house in order is the surest strategy, and this Tinubu has done better than the rest of the candidates. |
ViceGovernor:What is true about being financially reckless and sheer stupid in administering public funds... What is Wike funding elections in others states for? Do you have an idea how much money we are taking about, that go into elections? How many industries has Wike attracted to Rivers states and how many sustainable jobs has he created in 7 years? What are his scorecards in Agriculture, Human Capital Development, Job Creation etc Should it be about flyovers alone? |
MyVILLAGEpeople:You dey mind dem? US wey person fit die at any given time.... Mtchewww... |
