Corridon:Story! I am a Nigerian, and from Anambra state too. I didn't stand under the rain to show suppoy for Obi. |
Cypress042:I dey wait for the grace sha.... Grace that he couldn't use to fix Anambra, Nigeria's smallest state. Lest we forget, no be only one man dey get grace.... |
Beckham14:There is nothing Wike can do anymore. He messed things up big time by fighting Secondus because of his selfish ambition. It doesn't matter whether or not he supports Atiku. It is either a win or loose for Atiku in the elections. Was Wike not in the PDP when Jonathan lost? He can't make Atiku win or loose. Atiku is too big for Wike. He can't handle Atiku. |
Cypress042:You guys said that about Saraki....and he couldn't win a common primary.. You supported Jonathan's reelection and he failed.... What of Atikulate of 2019? Wait and see...2023 don near. |
Cypress042:Lol. Peter Obi can be president elsewhere, not in Nigeria. Governance is not all about empty talks, concocted statistics and barefaced lies... What does he have to show for his 8 years as Anambra governor? |
VeryWickedGoat:Exactly! And this is what pastors have been doing for decades....who will call them out like this? |
Mandate2023:I am from Anambra. I know the entire length and breadth of the state, from Ekwusigo to Orumba to Ayamelum to Anaocha to Awka to Oyi to Nnewi etc, 'cos I also had my higher institution education there. Only blind people who do not know Anambra well will accept the nonsense that Obi fixed Anambra. Obi performed abysmally as governor. He knows next to nothing about governance. |
jayworld15:Did Anambra start with Obi or Kano with Kwankwaso? Can you tell me by how much Tinubu grew Lagos economy? Compare it with others who governed Lagos... Do same for Obi and Kwankwaso. And if you can, talk about Atiku accomplishments in public office. Being in Lagos doesn't make you knowledgeable about politics and governance in Lagos. Do your research. Nobody is saying that Tinubu alone built Lagos. However, the fact remains that no other governor has as much influence as he has in Lagos. This is no fluke. Ask why this is so? He isn't the first or only person to have governed Lagos? Who among his colleague governors of 1999 - 2007 are still talked about, let alone being considered for higher assignment. The questions you asked aren't significant because I never said that he built the Third Mainland Bridge.... everyone knows Babangida did. |
Strongdickfresh:Peter Obi won't be president. |
socialmediaman:I agree with you totally. Women have a very high tendency to look down on their own man.... But go about kneeling, bending....saying 'Sir' to other men, mostly religious leaders. Most women are very disrespectful to their men. Nothing dampens the love a man has for a woman than disrespect. Imagine the OP acknowledging that she 'had heated argument' and even hung up on her husband. That should never have happened. No virtuous woman will allow communication with her husband degenerate into a verbal confrontation. No man likes a 'challenge-like' approach to settling issues by his wife. Calmer, non-aggressive women have greater, positive influence and grip on their men. This is arrant nonsense. You allow your man speak and you listen, even if you aren't in agreement with what he is saying. You could always find the perfect time to discuss your outlook and views about any issue, and make him see reasons why his position isn't the most appropriate, with love and respect. You don't get angry when your husband is already angry, and then tell him off. I am an advocate of care, appreciation and tenderness towards women, but I do not condone disrespect. I take it very seriously. So OP, make effort to fix your marriage if you still want it, and endeavour to learn your lessons from this afterwards. Get someone he respects alot to reach out to him, and help initiate a reconciliation. I do not agree with those who think that your husband is childish in his actions. That is incorrect. What do you expect from a man who made effort to reach out to his wife for over two months, after a disagreement? What kind of woman begrudges and cuts off communication from her own husband for more than two months? Why be say if women pay bills for one week or even a day sef, the whole world go hear am? Women matter don dey wan taya me sef. I no go lie sha, most men don cast. |
NaijaRoyalty:Oga, I am a Nigerian, and I don't want Obi. So, it is incorrect to say that Nigerians want Obi. |
jayworld15:None of the candidates contesting for the presidency has any of the qualities of competence, modesty and dignity....not one. You can hardly find any human with those qualities. People should just look at their past records of performance in public office, and make the best choice. As for me, I am likely not voting. Fashola / Zulum or Fashola / Marwa ticket was what I believe will be the best for Nigeria. However, If I am compelled to pick one out the presidential candidates, I will go for Tinubu based on his past records. Lagos is the most complex state to manage in Nigeria. Hence, having managed Lagos and still spearheading the massive improvements and brilliant initiatives ongoing there, viz LAGFerry, Lagos monorail, BRT, world-class transport terminals and interchanges etc, I believe that he is the most prepared for the job out of the ones available. Go to Lagos, just two or three capital infrastructures eclipses all the infrastructures that you can find in other states....Lagos is mini Nigeria. Let's leave sentiments aside, I am from the SE, and I know that Tinubu is better that the rest. |
Realist12:The youths are the most unsmart of all the age demographies in Nigeria. They are exactly what the Hausa would call 'katon baza'. What are we doing with our overwhelming numerical voting strength? Like you intelligently pointed out, they are busy screaming 'Jagaban', 'Obidient', 'Atikulate', 'Kwankwasiyya'....instead of doing the simplest task of digging and verifying the critical achievements of these men in their past assignments, and placing them side by side against one another, to arrive at a constructive and smart choice. |
yerokunphilips:''...HE give it to the people''. It is people with half-baked education like you that are keeping Nigeria grounded. What were Obi's legacies as Anambra governor? Is he not a Nigerian politician? How well do you know Anambra? Have you used any of the access roads into the Onitsha main market? Where are the roads Obi claimed to have built in Anambra? Atiku Kwankwaso and Tinubu can be evil but Obi can't. If he was so much of a saint, what was he doing running with Atiku in 2019? Obi is a billionaire as all of you know and believe, have you questioned how he made his billions? |
hisgrace090:Na satan come dey with the other candidates abi? Obi governed Anambra...is (was) Anambra Nigeria's best state, even during his tenure? Abeg, make we hear word....no be today we don dey hear this kind talk. |

Religion is secondary to me. Sorry.... |
hohafrank:Ok..I don mark am. |
LeoDeKing:I no go lie, of all of them who want to be president, Asiwaju is the best prepared and experienced. He is the one who has governed a state that looks closest to what Nigeria is like, especially in terms of economy, cultural mix etc - Lagos is a mini Nigeria. He is rugged, stubborn and can make very tough decisions. To a very large extent, he is feared and respected. He has shown to have the guts to take on the top guns, when the need arises. I don't have a problem with the others, especially Atiku and Obi. I think Atiku is too selfish to be president. Someone who loses elections and abandons his party until the next four years...I can't take him seriously. Tinubu is the most consistent of them all. For over two decades, he wriggled between AD, ACN and APC with almost perpetual tenacity and consistency. As for Obi, I think he is full of warped ideas. He just wants to be president because he feels Igbos are marginalized. I think he, like most Nigerians, is caught up in the dangerous religious and tribal web of pettiness. He pissed me off big time when he started going from Dunamis to RCCG to Methodist.....he made it look like a contest between Christians and Muslims, which was not a good move at all. In 2015, Buhari rather followed Osinbajo to RCCG thereby assuaging the concerns of Christians instead of visiting mosques across the country. That was strategic. Just recently, Tinubu met with Christian bishops from Northern Nigeria. Obi can't handle Nigeria. He couldn't handle Anambra, Nigeria's smallest state; and was impeached. He was only lucky to have returned. Obi talks too much. He does not have the tact needed for the top job. As for Kwankwaso, I think he is too sectional to be Nigeria's president. |
SpecialAdviser:Obi won't be president. Nobody is preparing to declare him. He does not have the capacity to be Nigeria's president. Someone who could not leave any significant landmarks as governor of Nigeria's smallest state wants to be president? |
dahgifted:Rubbish! |
Arnoldo:Great! Who was his father? And what businesses did he own that his son, Peter Obi, inherited? It is silly to bring the Davido analogy. Who no sabi Davido papa? |
Arnoldo:Great! Who was his father? And what businesses did he own that his son, Peter Obi, inherited? It is silly to bring the Davido analogy. Who no sabi Davido papa? |
Headachetoigboh:Nkogheri....that is what Igbos call posts like yours. Selfmade billionaire....no wahala, but how did make the money? I mean his business antecedents. Abi dem just born am, e become board Chairman of bank? |
Massiveglory:Who is flying a jet on public funds? Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso and Tinubu were all once top public officers. How come only Obi is flying on his personal fund while others are flying on tax payers money. Is he the only one with private businesses among them? Is he the only one currently not occupying any public office? Honestly, you didn't come across as rational with that post. |
TINUBUISMAD:How did he make his money? Double standard everywhere... We can question Tinubu and Atiku's wealth....how did Obi make billions of dollars? This is the irrationality of the Nigerian youth that everyone is talking about. He was governor of Anambra for 8 years....no LGA elections....poverty index worsened under his watch....no account of LGA funds....left several contractors unpaid while leaving office.....and all you can say is that he can afford a private jet 'cos he is worth billions of dollars? |
Penguin2:Lol... Who dash am. Obi no fit win. |
PresidObi:Those questions you asked about Tinubu are insignificant. Obi's result is questionable. Don't be diversionary. |
Truthdeypain:It is insanity like yours that has ensured that no Igbo man became Nigeria's president since 1966. Not even the VP position has been occupied by an Igbo man since 1983. Mark my word, when next the presidency is returning to the South in 2039, it is likely to go to the Southsouth with the way we Igbos continue to demonstrate gross political ignorance, ethnic disharmony and outright lack of strategic plan for clinching the presidency. For a Hausa/Fulani to emerge as president, he 'strongly' needs either the Igbo or Yoruba. The Yoruba man needs the Hausa/Fulani or Igbo to emerge. Even Buhari that many Igbos, that are unwell, think is uneducated and daft, understands this elementary political calculation...Buhari and Tinubu were never political associates before the 2014 merger of their parties, but Buhari very well understood this. And Tinubu too. They put aside their differences and worked together. For the Igbo to continue to think that they do not need the Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani to ascend the presidency...then, they (we) must be building our castle in the air. No be by to dey curse anybody wey talk wetin no sweet una o. You go curse, you go taya....nobody send you. The Southwest is likely to grab 2023 due to the significance of their contributions to Buhari's emergence. The North would rather payback the collaboration and support by the Southwest than invest their votes on an Igbo presidency. It is what it is.... |
Truthdeypain:Not agreeing with my position doesn't change the fact that I am Igbo. When you are done blabbing, you go go rest. Someone says his Igbo, and here you are denigrating Yorubas that didn't do anything to you. O gosiri na obu ezughi gi ezu. |
REDshouse:I just had to be honest about things... Why should Tinubu being corrupt bother an Igbo man more than it bothers Lagosians? If Lagos is that inhospitable, why do we have some of the largest markets in Nigeria dominated by Igbos in Lagos , such as Ladipo, Alaba International, Balogun, TBS etc. We can't keep saying that Lagos is a mess yet the whole of Amuwo, Festac, Okota, Cele etc, are fast turning into a mini-SE within Lagos, with expanding real estate and business investments. |
REDshouse:U dey mind them? I be Igbo o, but it baffles me why Igbos hate Tinubu. Which Igbo family does not have a relative in Lagos? Can you say same of Yorubas in any Igbo state? Yet they tell you Lagos is filthy, smelly, over rated bla bla bla.. If Tinubu stole Lagos money, why are Igbos the ones crying more than the bereaved? Why don't we concentrate on the corrupt politicians in the Southeast? |
