chatinent:Abeg, shift! Which one your PDP do for 16 years? Could they even complete their own National Secretariat Building for which they raised more than double the total cost of the project ?Where are Jonathan's CCTV in Abuja or Cassava Bread or Cooking Stoves? |
Hisbah21:Let him be your biggest mistake.... And make e pain you well well... We, patriots, appreciate him. Posterity will vindicate him. 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Warri-Itakpe Railway, Bonny-Bodo Bridge, Calabar-Cameroun Highway / Bridge, Zik's Masoleum, Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Expressway, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Revamping of Fertilizer Blending Plants, Rice Revolution etc. |

BeardedmeatR:What is this one saying? It is the height of senselessness to shutdown critical services, in the name of any protest. I am not saying that people who support Biafra agitation should not continue to back Kanu... but locking down economic activities, i.e. livelihoods, is highly insensitive and inhuman. That isn't bravery at all. That is cowardice. How does this action significantly affect Buhari or the North? I am Igbo, but I can say it anywhere that the Yorubas are way more civil than the Igbos. |
Modernizer:I didn't watch his interview. |
mrvitalis:Oga, abeg go rest. It is a shame that a few miscreants could put fear in the generality of Ndigbo, and keep them locked in their homes, away from their hitherto inseparable businesses. This is cowardice! |
aspabay:Na craze dey worry dem.... Dem no well at all. Who Twitter help? |
Ezehillary:Ashamed of themselves for what exactly? Twitter agreed and will meet all conditions set for their return, within the first quarter of this year. The government will be making billions from Twitter in taxes this year alone. This is significant for our economic diversification agenda. People, like you, are experts in asslicking anything foreign. Twitter was very irresponsible prior to now. Which responsible organization deletes a president's tweet but retains several posts from a rebel like Nnamdi Kanu? Their role during the endsars protest says everything about their ill intensions. I am glad that they were checked accordingly. Buhari no be Jonathan o. They can't dare try that again. Why dem no vex leave Nigeria sef... As we no tweet since, how many of us die? Mtchewww. |
FreeStuffsNG:I am not against Tinubu at all. But I do not want him as president. He appears too fragile and dominating to me. |
LasgidyPort:I have a strong feeling that he is the president's choice for the top job. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. His aversion for ostentatious lifestyle and unnecessary spotlight seeking; vast knowledge of the country; resoluteness as well as penchant for delivering quality outcomes, puts him above the already known, possible contenders for the Presidency. Fashola can look anyone in the face and say no, in the best interest of Nigeria. That is what being president is about.... delivering the common good to a greater number of the populace. |
Jack005:A Babatunde Raji Fashola / Mohammed Buba Marwa or Babatunde Raji Fashola / Babagana Umar Zulum ticket, would do Nigeria the most good. I prefer the Fashola / Marwa ticket, not just for the super efficiencies of the duo, even Zulum, as well as their very less tendencies and interest in unnecessary politicking...but for Marwa to bring his sound military background along to assist Fashola, giving the proliferation of banditry, kidnapping and other security threats. Just check out what is going on around NDLEA and you will have an insight as to what the man, Marwa, can bring to the table. As for Fashola, he most certainly will receive the most accolades, after Buhari, for the massive rehabilitation and construction of critical infrastructures in the country. From the Second Niger Bridge, Bonny-Bodo Bridge, Calabar-Cameroun Bridge / Highway, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Expressway....etc. And importantly, key infrastructure driving initiatives such as the Sukuk and Presidential Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme etc. I see Osinbajo as well fit also, but not tough enough for the top job. I see him running to Daddy GO for prayers when things get seeming overwhelming. We don't need that. Another kind of Jonathan presidency won't be good for Nigeria. A president whose name doesn't elicit or instil any 'fear'. That's a no no for me. Everyone feels cool around him. Come to the South-south and see how previously abandoned NDDC projects are being completed because Buhari was going to probe NDDC. Fashola would prioritize the common good, and would not mortgage Nigerians in the guise of political loyalty. We need someone without any tangible religious emphasis around him. No developed country achieved what they achieved through Christianity or Islam. We need someone who would get the job done, and promote national values through moral reorientation, not strange, inconsistent practices. |
Soso990240:I have always maintained similar views about Nnamdi Kanu. Why pretend to want to 'liberate' an entire Igbo race when he hasn't been able to liberate his Community, LGA or State. Abia is one of the worst states in Nigeria, by a wide range of social-economic indices. |
Modernizer:You are the true son of your father! Who is punishing who today...? Sit-at-home order still resulting in hundreds of millions worth of losses in trade and services in Anambra State and across the SE, daily. My people still live in palpable fear and uncertainty. Who bears the brunt? Have we not now been vindicated? The so-called efulefus have been vindicated. The hunter has suddenly become the hunted. Obodo e delu go juu. It is time to rethink our past if we truly desire to make any collective advancement in national politics. We must start to separate the unfortunate money bags, mischief makers, ill-educated opportunists from intellectually sound minds, seasoned technocrats and true sons. We have lost our standing in the Nigerian project, and it is important that we realize this and make hay. Obasanjo left office as president in 2007. Buhari will leave in 2023....yet two Yoruba sons, Tinubu and Osinbajo, as it stands today, are the two biggest contenders for the top job. Where are the Igbos? On social media... ranting and cursing as usual. One season, Ndigbo want Saraki...the next, they want Atiku. And in another, they want referendum or Biafra or the Presidency. In all the times that Buhari lost his presidential bids: 2003, 2007, 2011. He never lost in Kastina. Did he? Did Ojukwu ever win in Anambra? Were those who voted in the 2003 presidential elections in Anambra and the entire South East, in which Ojukwu was the APGA candidate, all Fulanis or Yorubas? Which states in Igboland have Ike Nwachukwu, Kingsley Moghalu, Oby Ezekwesili etc, ever won in their respective presidential bids? Is it the fault of the North or South West or South south? Even as Buhari defeated Jonathan in 2015...Jonathan still won his home state and all the states his region (if I am not mistaking). Why are we Igbo holding ourselves down while blaming others for our political barrenness and misfortunes? |
LegendHero:No even waste your time ontop him matter. I expect the man to have invested massively in commercial agriculture across the SE to create jobs for the teeming youths, in view of stemming the tide of agitations and unemployment, instead of investing in brewery. I agree with you completely when you pointed out that he is an unserious fellow. What impactful initiatives has he championed since his being Atiku's running mate in 2019. Na my former governor o, but the man no be am at all. He couldn't even sustain his influence, impact and relevance in Anambra just 8 years after leaving office. Nawa o. |
LegendHero:Peter Obi na yeye man! No even waste your time ontop him matter. I expect the man to have invested massively in commercial agriculture across the SE to create jobs for the teeming youths, to stem the tide of agitations and unemployment, instead of investing in brewery and making beers. I agree with you completely when you pointed out that he is an unserious fellow. What impactful initiatives has he championed since his being Atiku's running mate in 2019? Na my former governor o, but the man no be am at all. He couldn't even sustain his influence, impact and relevance in Anambra just 8 years after leaving office. Nawa o. |
Polchiz:I thought you were all-knowing.... How come you let go your baseless claim that I am Yoruba? That's the thing about we Igbos...we hate to be told the truth... anyone who speaks the truth is tagged a betrayer or efulefu. Whether you like it or not, no Igbo man, can be president of Nigeria, at least for the next 12 to 16 years. There is so much work to be done. Not after the mess IPOB created, and which the leaders of the SE, succinctly, supported. Do you know what razing down security infrastructures and killing security agents mean? That is declaration of war against a Federation, to which you belong. And you expect the other components of the Federation to embrace you and hand down the presidency? Let me give you a little fact...the last time an Igbo man was president was in 1966. How many years ago was that? Ekwueme was Igbo's last Vice President. That was 39 years ago. It doesn't work that way. As for Orji Kalu..every right thinking person knows that he can never be president of Nigeria. |
ajumma:Do Nigerians even understand anything? Don't mind them. Once they hear 'state police', everyone begins to chant and clamour for it, as though they know anything about it. See how the Governors are fighting against the LGAs and Judiciary getting their funds directly from the Federation Account... Check out LGA elections conducted by them....they make sure it is a complete sweep for their parties. These imbalances, injustices, manipulations and oppressions are indeed responsible for the tensions, instabilities and insecurities in the states. Lets take my state, Anambra, as an example. There has not been LGA elections in dunky years.... associates and friends are compensated by appointments as Transition Committee Chairmen and members...why? In the SE, why are the Governors reluctant to funding the regional security instrument, Ebubegu, set-up? They, individually, desire their own police. This gives you an insight into their motives. Why isn't the SS pushing for a regional security system?..just like Amotekun. |
DrGoodman:Forget state police. It is complete nonsense for now. Governors want to become Lords with it. Let the Governors start by demonstrating good conscience with funds meant for the LGAs anf Judiciary, and create level playing fields for opposition parties during LGA elections.. Maybe then, the clamour for state police will begin to receive some form of consideration. |
LegendHero:Lol. When I hear talks to the effect that Nigerians are taught in English language, hence should not write IELTS or any other International English testing exams....I just laugh. How many Nigerians really sabi write and speak English language fluently? We should start telling ourselves the truth in this country. Do we think foreigners aren't seeing the 'nonsense' we write on public forums and the rest? |
Polchiz:Afurum na obi ezuchaghi gi ezu! Onye mkpurummiri.... Let's keep leaving in self denial as a tribe...and not tell ourselves the truth. I am not Igbo because I acknowledged what is plain reality. We never see anything. When was the last time Ndigbo produced the VP in Nigeria? 1983 abi? That was our brother, Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme from Oko in Anambra State. Where and where did Orji Kalu work before owning bank and a shipping company as you claim. Oya now, let him come and contest for President make we see....shey, he comes from a wealthy home.... Onye ngbu! |
Polchiz:You are certainly an ignorant fellow. Why bring an entire tribe into this? I am Igbo o....dey there dey mumu yourself. What qualification did Buhari receive upon graduating from the US War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania? Don't be a lazy youth....do a simple research. It is not about having a PhD. Fact is, Orji Kalu is ill-educated and can't be President. Do your findings, Buhari has a Master Degree in Strategic Studies. So, you believe the bullcrap about Buhari not being educated? And you think Obasanjo will make him Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources or Chairman of NNPC after it was formed? |
adedayoa2:Sorry if you felt offended in any way over my choice of words. Make we see how 2023 go playout, but Tinubu no go be President. |
nzeobi:Who are the best brains he nominated? |
Kriss216:Only unpatriotic Nigerians and formers looters hold the skewed belief that Buhari is a failure. No one fails by fixing, upgrading and building Infrastructures such as the Lagos-Ibadan Railway, 2nd Niger Bridge, Calabar-Cameroun Highway; Warri-Itakpe Railway, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Bonny-Bodo Bridge.....name them! Name any past administration with superior programs, policies and project. |
Jollylolly:Should be given? That won't happen. Every eligible Nigerian deserves to be President. The ticket will have to be contested for. We are in a democracy. We, Southerners, a the big problem of Nigeria. If really we believe that Buhari has not done well enough...why does Osinbajo deserve to be President when Buhari leaves....aren't they on a joint ticket? We give credits to Osinbajo for the administration's highs and give Buhari the knocks and bashing for their lows, while exonerating Osinbajo....isn't that insanity? |
helinues:Lol. Adeboye indeed. Dem tell you say na GO election dem wan do? Abeg, make we hear word! |
adedayoa2:So, why did you come here to talk as though he did anything with his personal funds? We can't forget Iyaloja. It is reality. Is it a lie? You have started with your mediocre remarks again...what do you mean by 'how many people he made that are not related to him'? All those high places you claim he worked before, no be people assist am to work there? That is life. Nobody gets anywhere without the support of others. That should not elicit any entitlement feelings from anyone. Oga, please don't make comments that make you come off as dumb...Could Tinubu or anyone else have been governor without bringing together a team of aides and advisers? It is a constitutional mandate for them to do so. Okowa, Uduaghan, Omo-agege....name them....they all worked under Ibori. Should we now make Ibori President. |
Baawaa:I almost wanted to get angry and attack you. But I had to read through again...my brother, I am Igbo from Anambra State....what can I say...I agree with you completely. We have become the laughing stock of the nation. It is quite shameful. These useless Ohaneze won't ask Obi Cubana, Emoney, Orji Kalu etc, the sources of their wealth? What is their direct business with Tinubu and the resources of Lagos people? Person leave wetin enter him eyes...come dey remove the one wey enter another person eyes... Igbo people mumu sha! |
seunmsg:Tinubu is not a good fit for President. He was not alone in NADECO. He didn't create the NGF all by himself. There was nothing he did or achieved in public service, singly. Whatever you claim he did in Lagos was done with the state's funds too. I do not hate him, but I and most human beings, believe that his insatiable crave for material acquisition is disgusting and detrimental to the populace. For instance, how many ex governors have their wives in the NASS? His daughter is Iyaloja. This is not good enough. If by being privileged to be governor, he is doing all these....what would he do if he becomes president? His tendency to dominate at all costs is his greatest weakness. Forget the Support Groups razzmatazz in the North especially, they are all out to milk him. I was born and raised in the North. No person of real significance, at least in the context of the subject, from the North, feels comfortable over Tinubu Presidency. People always want leaders that are unassuming, averagely powerful and not excessive in material acquisition. That is Buhari's greatest strength. My brother, let me tell you the truth, Tinubu won't be President. Mark my words! |
Modernizer:Orji Kalu never had good education. Only God knows if he finished High School. What are his legacies in Abia after 8 years? Abians are among the worst Nigerians. How could they even allow such a man be in the Senate for any reason? |
Austino50:That's how worthless they have become. This is the result of leadership without impact on the people. The Tinubu that is making wave as a top contender for the office of president and Orji Kalu both became governors in Nigeria on the same day.....what went wrong? Imagine, he is waiting for the presidency to be zoned to the South East. That will not happen.... |
