Even Tinubu.

If the principle of rotational presidency means power should shift to the south, then power should also shift to a Christian.

Buhari has done 8 years for the Muslims.

In the spirit of fairness, it is time for a Southern Christian. Tinubu had this ambition to become Buhari's vice in 2015 but it was obvious the Muslim-Muslim ticket won't fly.

Now he wants to achieve that same ambition to the detriment of Christians. It is unfair and he must be stopped.

Christian Association of Nigeria will soon comment on this.
The Christian angle is no factor.

It makes no sense at all.

Of course, the question is pedestrian.

How did Rufai know the content of the bullion van that was driven into Tinubu's house?

He could have asked him to shed more light about the controversy that resulted from the bullion van that was seen being driven into Tinubu's home, sometime ago?

Journalists in Nigeria are really very inept. You don't just go about accusing people of amassing wealth and embezzlement without proofs.

Under Jonathan, Tinubu was taken to the Code of Conduct Tribunal? What was the outcome of that matter?

So just like this now Bola Tinubu will be our President. It is very obvious he has an insurmountable force.
We just have a mass of people suffering from inferiority complex parading themselves as Igbo politicians.

Imagine, no one of them, with their tons of years in national politics, feels confident enough to be President.

This is the result of politics of self enrichment. Look at Tinubu and the people he helped to make....name them: Raji Fashola, Yemi Osinbajo, Lai Mohammed etc.

Orji Kalu should go to his 400-bedroom mansion in Bende and wait until the Presidency is zoned to the SE....onye ara!

We, Igbos, are laughable. In the whole of Igboland, it is Anyim and Moghalu that want to be President. Odiegwu!

That is the problem of the average Nigerian youth, and by extension, Nigerians.

Entitlement...they believe they are entitled to everything... including the presidency.

Ohaneze is nothing but a shitty and shallow organization.

Every Nigerian that meets the constitutional requirement for the office of President has the right to seek the office.

It is senseless to suggest that Tinubu is 90 because he wants to be President. How old is Gowon for Tinubu to be 90?

Instead of Ohaneze to be galvanizing support for the Igbo Presidency Project....infact, they should have been doing this since 2019, they were busy romancing IPOB and dabbling into unproductive discourses.

I am from Anambra State. I have lived and worked in practically every part of the country.

Ndigbo have just one person, for now, who could be embraced by other Nigerians, for the office of president today.

But as you know, Igbo enwero eze, we keep moving aimlessly without a destination. It is quite a shame.

Lol... perhaps the best we could project for the presidency is Anyim. What a shame!

Lol...you have totally digressed from the issues I raised. You have deliberately refused to address those issues and you are now talking off point. I never even mentioned anything about northerners hating knowledge or whatever it was you were saying.
But I'll leave you with this, this has got nothing to do with north or south, but the fact that the current crop of leaders we have both in PDP and APC are total failures and should be completely overhauled.
I don't even care if the person is jukun or ijaw as long as he has not been infected with the destructive ideologies of the current political structures in the country.

And as for you certificate holder, your ideologies are seriously skewed because you are probably a beneficiary of the rot in the system, I hope you see the light one day.
And this post is your idea of being enlightened abi?

There is no digression anywhere. The statements I made were general. I was not, in all instances, responding to you directly.

Failed crop of leaders indeed...what about the crop of followers?

Africa's most revered citizen, Nelson Mandela, aptly captured my position with his famous quote, where he alluded that 'people get the kind of leaders that they deserve'.

I think your approval or disapproval of any Nigerian administration lies in whether or not you are directly benefiting from them. That's the problem. I don't blame you. It is almost the same with everyone.

Oga certificate holder...did I mention GEJ anywhere? You know that those currently ruling will defect as soon as the government changes, so they are all useless as long as they have tasted power under any party, ruling or not. They have nothing to offer because they are all the same.
Listen, as long as you continue to do something the same way, you will continue getting the same result. The problem with your kind is that you keep expecting something new from these old cargoes who have damaged the country and are still at it. Its not possible, they can't give what they don't have and their tract record shows it clearly over the years either as APC or PDP.

And you cannot compare Nigeria to world powers because our economy and systems of government are different. They have a system that works. It is not possible to replace everyone in this shitty government at once but we can start somewhere.

As long as Nigeria keeps bringing back these old cargoes, these old geezers who have lost touch with reality, (and I mean at all levels of government) we will continue to experience backwardness and retrogression.
You can't compare Nigeria with other world power nations....why?

Are the people in those countries not humans?

You guys just like to make unnecessary social media outbursts. Why not start replacing these leaders you believe shouldn't be there any longer, and stop just wishing?

Tell me, how well are Nigerians that aren't in leadership doing in improving the country?

You didn't have to mention GEJ in your remarks for me to reference him.

Nigeria's problems are societal. Buhari is not Nigeria's problems. Every one has contributed one way or another. Buhari didn't stop his predecessors from fixing our electricity and other key Infrastructures.

Leaders emerge from societies and not societies from leaders.

I do not expect your kind to appreciate this. We hardly have respect for knowledge and people who bear them.

In Northern Nigeria, knowledge is much valued... little wonder, despite widespread Southern denigration of the North, in respect to their inferior educational accomplishments, they continue to maintain vantage and strategic leadership positions in the country.

I maintain, this has nothing to do with whether a leader is recycled or brand new. Nation building is onerous, ongoing and collective. How much is the individual Nigerian doing? That is what really counts.

So in essence, we should just continue with the recycling of these thieving and corrupt old geezers and not give someone new a chance?
Everyone connected to this current government in any capacity should be replaced if this country will have a chance at becoming better.
The same old, unproductive line of thought, I would say.

Recycling or not, I can tell you that it is the same situation all over the world. Go to the US, you will certainly find the highest number of long-serving public officers.

It is the same in China, Russia, UK, Australia etc.

You guys just like needless, irrational and unrealizable lines of thought. How possible is it to get everyone currently in leadership in Nigeria or anywhere else out, and have them replaced? How sensible is that?

Tell me about those outside of the current leadership that are, even near 25%, in terms of effectiveness and productivity to the nation, in their chosen sector? Name one person.

Oga, I have an advanced foreign certification in Leadership Management. Leadership is about everyone and everything, hence you will NEVER find leadership that meets the needs of all.

President Macron was slapped in public by a fellow compatriot. There will always be reservations from certain quarters and individuals, but what matters, essentially, is delivering the common good to the greater number of people.

Was former President Jonathan not a part of a new bloc? What were his landmark achievements and legacies. Name them.

All these generalized criticisms make no sense at all. How well have the Nigerian citizens performed in carrying out their civic responsibilities to the nation? People still dispose of refuse and defecate indiscriminately across Nigeria, even around public facilities. Less than three weeks ago, I personally walked along the trail of the Lagos-Ibadan Railway, somewhere around Ikeja, you need to see poo all over the place. Was it the Governor or his Commissioners or Minister Chibuike Amaechi, that went there to poo?

What we tag as national leadership failure is actually much more complicated than we think. These are failures of family and community systems as well as the degradation of societal and religious institutions.

The fallouts are banditry, prostitution, drug abuse, armed robbery, violence, cultism, insurgency, kidnapping etc.

Would you say that it is everyone who does not have a job that is a bandit, fraudster or kidnapper? We cannot keep justifying crime and the killing of fellow citizens with unemployment. It is the height of senselessness.

Parents and custodians of our value institutions, especially religious and community leaders, must wake up to their responsibilities and stop the unhelpful blame games.

Lol.

Moghalu has to do more.

It is not enough to come up with seeming smart and catchy blueprints every four years.

Besides, Buhari has performed creditably if really you have been moving around the country: in Agriculture, Economy, Infrastructure etc, even Security. This may be difficult for people who aren't widely knowledgeable about governance in Nigeria, and indeed people with pockets of biases here and there, to appreciate.

Connecting Nigeria's two largest cities, Lagos and Ibadan via quality rail infrastructure is no mean achievement. The Lagos-Ibadan Highway is the busiest in the country, and accounts for a significant portion of the nation's manhour losses, translating into several billions in local currency daily.

The Ibadan-Kano segment of the Lagos-Ibadan rail project is billed for completion this year.

We all know about the progress of Second Niger and Bonny-Bodo Bridge projects and their significance.

There is also the bridge linking Nigeria and Cameroun, which has been completed, as well as the Warri-Itakpe Railway which was abandoned for over three decades, that is now in operation.

In Agriculture, Nigeria's rice production has hit over 6million MT in a year, and we can now see visible proofs of economic diversification in substantially increased collections from FIRS, Customs, Immigration, JAMB etc, following decline and fluctuations in global oil revenues.

On security, even though more work needs to be put in continually, we have seen tens of thousands of former IDPs resettled in their communities in the North East, especially in Borno state. Go to Borno state and see for yourself. The people genuinely appreciate what the president has done.

The major road connecting Borno state and Cameroun, which was closed down, for almost a decade, in the heat of the insurgency under former President Jonathan has been reopened for economic activities.

I think that leaders at the subnationals levels are the challenge, and of course, the populace.

Why would any right thinking person always want to blame the President for the slightest setback he / she faces, without any recourse to his LG Chairman, State / NASS Representative or Governor?

Isn't it ridiculous?

For 16 years, not one of such picture...

I will keep saying it...while acknowleding that more is left to be done, Buhari has done well.

Much of the gaps we still see today, stem from PDP's 16 years of crass cluelessness and financial recklessness.

Do you know why there is serious and rising insecurity in Nigeria? It is because of the lack of employment creation (infrastructure) roadmap(s) by successive administrations..

Judiciously implementing infrastructure (including a culture of periodic maintenance & renewal of critical assets) roadmaps, translate to employment generation naturally, and of course, eases life for the populace.

Imagine if Obasanjo had solved our power issues, and Jonathan addressed healthcare and education... add them to wetin Buhari don achieve, especially in the rail, aviation and agriculture sectors, we for don move much more farther away from where we dey today.

I am really glad that you see the greater good in what Buhari is doing. Most people only judge from 'cost of garri and maggi', while deliberately refusing to acknowledge the widespread greed in the average Nigerian trader, especially those from the Southern part of the country. Importantly too, rising commodities costs is a global issue, which is mainly a direct fallout of the ongoing Covid pandemic.
