Almaigaa:Oga, stop being incorrigible. FG only gave necessary approvals. Anambra State Government built the airport from start to finish. Don't argue with me. Nearly everyone in Nigeria knows this for a fact. I am surprised at you. I am from Anambra state. The airport is sited in Ivite Umueri in Anambra North. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.nationalaccordnewspaper.com/obiano-perform-groung-breaking-o-anambra-airport-project-april-11/&ved=2ahUKEwjqiLj4zvf1AhXJgf0HHZ2_BVMQFnoECDYQAQ&usg=AOvVaw09Oo62Gtdmf8Ppck4xC_98 |
NGArmyTerrorist:Do you know how many kilometers of roads that have been completed over the past 7 years? Much more are in various degrees of completion... When it comes to infrastructure, Buhari has done better than any Nigerian president since the past 40 years.... Dem tell you say na only Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Road dey Nigeria? Bonny-Bodo Bridge; Calabar-Cameroun Highway / Bridge; Lagos-Ibadan Railway; Warri-Itakpe Railway; Second Niger Bridge etc, are all massive projects under this administration. The administration deserves some credit for her efforts. We must not always badmouth them. |
Almaigaa:Please, quit talking ignorantly. It is true that the Buhari administration started and is almost completing the Second Niger Bridge, among several other road projects in the SE. However, it is blantantly untrue that the FG built the International Airport in Anambra. The airport was built by the Anambra State Government of Willy Maduaburochukwu Obiano, Akpokuodike Aguleri. |
TooMuchStuff:Go and hug a transformer if the bridge is named MBB. You are a petty fool. Why didn't you mention what Buhari named after Alex Ekwueme? Is Ekwueme a Muslim or from the North? Keep talking like a fool until the bridge is named. I want to see what you would do then. Southern resources my foot.... |
TooMuchStuff:What stupid Southern resources are you talking about? Aren't there resources in the North? I am from the South East, and I do not see anything wrong with naming the bridge, MBB. Jonathan achieved next to nothing on that bridge. Only a fool believes the North hates Jonathan. How did he win elections in Adamawa, Taraba, Plateau, Kogi etc, in 2011? Jonathan is clearly a gross non-performer. He had his time, but decided to make a mess of it. I support that the bridge is named after Buhari... anybody wey no like am, make e go jump into River Niger. |
bigtt76:Just like our universities are lit abi? No be profs dey oversee them? Presidency has nothing to do with being a prof. |
Cherrybae:It is neither Osinbajo nor Amaechi. We are on top of the situation. We will keep you posted. But mark my words....it is neither of the two men you mentioned. |
FreeStuffsNG:Visiting a bereaved family after returning from overseas is now a qualification for office of the president. Na trek him trek come from abroad? Nawa o. Anyways, Tinubu won't be president. I am sure of that. The North isn't very well disposed to having him as president. Forget the insignificant section of Northerners cashing out on him. The major issue with Tinubu is his incurable tendency to dominate and amass wealth. That is stinking. He abuses office with pleasure, and sees nothing wrong with it. How can a man who providence thrusted into becoming a senator, two-term governor of one of Africa's topmost states still feel ungrateful enough to push for his wife to be in the Senate; his Cousin to be governor of Osun; his daughter to be Iyaloja, after his own mother; his sister-in-law to be Commissioner under governors installed by himself in Lagos; his younger brother, Wale, runs his multimillion dollar firm, Oando etc.... Even Buhari didn't like the idea of his wife's younger brother getting an automatic ticket of the APC to be Adamawa governor. The North can't be comfortable with such a man as president. Mark my word.... Tinubu won't be president. |
McGg:Wike na learner... Cooking what? You think say na Rivers State matter we dey talk about? He will be scammed beyond measure. Just sit and watch. |
McGg:Wike na learner... Cooking what? You think say na Rivers State matter we dey talk about? He will be scammed beyond measure. Just sit and watch. |
Truthisunique2:No two Rivers men or South-south men will get any tickets...let alone contest in the general elections. |
ArewaNorth:You can say that again. Where is that person arguing baselessly with me recently sef.... Obi was my governor. He was a mistake. He knows nothing about governance. |
thinkmoney:He was named MOTM not best keeper of the tournament. Na so we see am. |
YinkaOlusesi:Forget PDP...they are gone. |
Method147:Power shifts to the South, not South-south. It doesn't shift from region to region, but between the North and South. So, the question of the South-south completing anything does not arise.... otherwise we should be talking of the North-central getting their own shot before anyone comes to complete anything. Jonathan is from the South-south, and he just left office. Power can't return there in such a short while. Recall the clamour of the North to retain power after Yar'dua's demise. Jonathan was asked to complete Yar'dua's first term and make way for the North to have their full term. What happened? Did he do that? He finished Yar'dua's first term and pressed very hard to get a one-term agreement before relinquishing power to the North.....a promise he never kept. He had to be bulldozed out of power in 2015. Novices in the South will tell you it was a gang-up or he was hated by the North....but that is an ignorant thing to say. The North turned against him on account of his infidelity...you may call it betrayal of trust. That can't be out of hate. This was the same man than won states such as Adamawa, Taraba, Plateau etc, in the North, while contesting against Buhari in 2011. Until the partnership between Buhari/Tinubu happened in 2014, which Southern states has Buhari ever won....perhaps one...Osun. Could Buhari win any state in the SE/SS? But Jonathan won states in the Northcentral and Northeast. The Southwest left power since almost 16 years ago. I won't say that they are due to have power return to them....but as it stands, the SE played the pass to them, with their widespread hatred and lack of support for the ruling party; glaring slander campaigns against the current administration; unnecessary heatup of the polity through misplaced calls for referendum and secession; dangerous attacks on federal operatives and institutions in the region etc. Tinubu and the Southwest didn't support Buhari in 2015 out of love for him. They did it for themselves - to promote the Yoruba political interests in the Nigerian project. Now, they are awaiting for Buhari and the North to reciprocate the gesture. That's politics for you. Ndigbo have no locus to demand anything of Buhari and the North. They should be ashamed of themselves. It is saddening though, but Ndigbo lost their greatest chance to produce Nigeria's president. We are to be blamed. This isn't time to talk nonsense on social media, but going back to plan for the next power shift to the South; likely in 16 years from now. It is a pity...but that's the home truth. |
[img][/img] Method147:There is no such thing as South-south tenure. Power only rotates to the North and South, not according to regions. |
bjdon:Even the PDP is not inclined to giving the ticket to the SE...why? Certainly because it will further narrow their chance at winning the coveted seat. The SE is one of the regions with the weakest voting strength in the country, hence having a flagbearer come from such region automatically puts the party at a disadvantage. You see why despite the agelong, significant support of the PDP by Ndigbo, the party still does not find it politically logical to expressly zone the office to the SE. For me, another key factor is the quality of politicians from the region. My brother, I am yet to see a clear-cut, sound, sellable candidate for that position...from a nationalistic point of view. All we have are a bunch of where-belle-face, poorly or scamly educated, greedy and bereft individuals, with no convincing pedigree or verifiable track records. |
Asgard73:They are just making fools of themselves. I am referring to Obiozor and Ohaneze. They are a group of low IQ individuals. Who wakes up a year to a presidential election to start wanting to be president? Where was the Ohaneze leadership when Nnamdi Kalu was pitting Ndigbo against Nigerians? The mistrust for Ndigbo is devastating. They obviously do not realize this. The task should be how to win back the trust of Nigerians, not to clamour for the presidency. Perhaps, they should take a peep on how the leadership of the SW handled Sunday Igboho...they didn't give him the chance to bungle their collective interests in the Nigerian project. When we were hammering on how Nnamdi Kanu and his harmful activities hurt our collective concerns, they called us saboteurs. Oya na...e don set. I don sidon dey look. |
Method147:You are not a good student of Nigerian politics obviously. Jonathan just left power. It can't return to the same region just yet. The SE should have been the sure bet to produce the next president out of the three regions of Southern Nigeria.....but clearly they are not prepared. They allowed Nnamdi Kanu to ruin everything out of cowardice and stupidity. So, your guess would be as good as mine on the region where the next president will come from, from down South. There is no magic about it. Do all permutations you want...our next president will come from the South west. |
9jayes:Neither Atiku nor Tinubu will be president. Mark my word! Only few of us know who the next president is. The person is currently part of this administration. |
Sergio104:Akuko sari sari! Next president of una town union abi? |
Xscape1993:Don't worry yourself. Yahaya Bello is just wasting his time. |
Jcoleworld911:Akuko! |
Sergio104:Simple matter....list Obi's landmark projects in Anambra, you are referring me to @investigate. You are the one being trivial here. Since both of us know Anambra very well. Tell me his projects and where they are located. Obi knows next to nothing about managing an economy. Does keeping Anambra's billions in his Fidelity Bank translate to you as proper economic management? Anyways, let's rest the matter 'cos Peter Obi is going nowhere....you and I know this for a fact. He can't even win PDP's ticket. So, why elevate him beyond his reach? That was how some of you elevated Saraki until he was humiliated at the Port Harcourt primaries. Obi doesn't have the clout and capacity to be president. It is that simple. We all saw how he brought Oseloka Henry Obaze to become governor....how did they fare? What well did his PDP in Anambra do with Val Ozigbo in the last election? |
Sergio104:I thought you said I am not from Anambra... Selfless service indeed....can you make a list his landmark projects in Anambra? Put them here on this platform. How much fund did he say he saved Anambra again? In which bank? What was the monthly IGR under him? How much was the IGR immediately after Obiano took office? His stewardship is questionable. His road projects were substandard and overinflated. It is a shame that you think that such a man is the best Ndigbo can offer. Let's even talk a bit about reforms in leadership. How much did Peter Obi do in this regard? Did he conduct LGA elections in his 8 years as governor? He kept installing his 'idiotic' and reckless cronies as Transition Committee Chairmen across the 21 LGAs in the state. Oga, I am a proper Anambra man. I have lived everywhere in Nigeria. I am a foreign-trained leadership expert. There is no gain in getting petty, emotional or economical with the truth. Peter Obi is not 'qualified' to be president. To answer you, there are only a few visible, qualified, possible personalities for the office of the president....down South, for me, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Yemi Osinbajo will make a great president....and up North, I believe Babagana Zulum, Muhammed Buba Marwa will be good. Go and do an unbiased research on these people, and compare them with Peter Obi. |
Sergio104:Look at this ignorant, senseless fellow! I know Peter Obi up to his house in Agulu... Make a list of what you called 'foundation' that he laid? Tell me, what is there to enjoy in Anambra that came from Peter Obi? I took an Obiano to give an airport to the most travelled people in Nigeria....now, there is an International Conference Center almost completed. Tell me Peter Obi's projects. All the roads constructed under him, just less than a decade ago, are currently ridden with potholes....if you doubt me, use the one from Awka through Umuawulu down to Awgbu and Amaokpala in Orumba North. Do you think I am Fulani? It is really senseless for you guys to tag anyone speaking the truth a Fulani or afonja. Where do you know in Anambra or Igboland? Peter Obi isn't, an inch, qualified to be Nigeria's president...not an inch. I am not talking paper qualifications. I am talking about indept understanding of the myriad of sensibilities, peculiarities and challenges of the Nigerian people. His Nigerianness is half-baked. For starters, what is his clear position on IPOB? Who knows his stance? He is neither here nor there. People like him never make good leaders. |
goaldynboy:Onye eberibe! Do you even have a father? It is foolish people like you, who live in daily self-denial, that are setting Ndigbo back. Go and think...the last time an Igbo person presided over Nigeria was in 1966....what of VP? 1983.... because of fools like you. |
Sergio104:I am an Anambra man, front and back. Peter Obi can't even get any party's ticket. He is not even qualified to be president. Can you tell me what exceptional projects he did in Anambra? From Anaocha to Ekwusigo down to Orumba South through Aguata and Ayamelum.... All he could brag about is how much he saved Anambra people in his bank? You guys hate the truth, IPOB did Ndigbo great disservice, with all of their activities. Ndigbo stand no chance. Instead of us to start strategizing and planning for the next 16 years, you are here cursing Buhari that will never know you. Oga, posting on social media doesn't make you matter or significant. |
tatarex212:Nothing will come out of it. They should keep making fools of themselves. Which right thinking person will commence preparations to vie for Office of the President, less than a year to elections? Didn't they say that Jonathan was their son and gave him massive support? They folded their arms and watched Nnamdi Kanu wreck destructions in the South East and 'wage war' against the FG and did nothing....they allowed him pit Ndigbo against the other ethnic groups in the country, and now they want the presidency...how? These guys are really sick! |
ChiefS:You are not far from the truth. Money politics is the real bane of leadership, especially in Africa....even globally. There is always a seeming impenetrable establishment in place. But lets watch and see. There is a surprise for everyone in 2023. I know this for sure. You may not agree with me, but Buhari is laying a solid foundation for Nigeria, and won't let just anybody succeed him. The next president will be strict, prudent and an excellent performer. Watch out! |
ChiefS:Hahahahahaha.... Which president's vision did he work hard to actualize? They couldn't fix East-West Road; the International Airport Yar'dua started in Bayelsa; Abuja-Kaduna rail; Boko Haram was ravaging the NE and Abuja; Akanu Ibiam International Airport runway was a deathtrap; scam Cassava Bread; scam Abuja CCTV project etc. Anyim stabilized the Senate indeed...and could get reelected again. What a stabilizer! The truth is this my brother, Anyim stands no chance. He can't win even a single state. Why? He has nothing to show for all his stewardships. He can't even win his party's ticket. He can't even come fifth in any party primary...I mean any political party at all. |
Penguin2:Oga, tell us what Anyim achieved.... simple. He was President of the Senate and Secretary to the Government of the Federation. I no dey for beer parlour talk...you and I know that the constitution does not allow for third term, so I don't know what you intend to achieve with that comment. |
