Braveryy: Experienced and tested advice needed please. I used to have a perfect relationship with a sister, every every worked well, until she began to keep too many male friends and they wouldn't stop asking her out.
I made her understand I wasn't comfortable with it, even if she claimed she was doing nothing with any of them, and truly I never did catch her but her chats with them will give anybody a different idea. They visited at will (and randomly cos it isn't just one guy) and will stay in closed doors 'gisting like she calls it'.
Well, I had to find a way out of the mess she was doing to my heart, so I broke up with her.
Twas really hard for her to get over me, and bla bla bla... She did try to get me back anyway, but I just couldn't bring myself back.
Fast forward... I have another beauty now, and we've gotten along fine together. She is Meek, and this means she could be good to anyone, and anyone could be her friend... She knows about my ex. initially, twas hatred my ex displayed for her, but now...
A day came and my ex came to my house to tell me, she's tried her best to get over me, and I couldn't help her heal, she's going to help herself and find a way to revenge.
Lately, she's almost always with my gf currently, she wants to go where my gf is going... Always in her room... In fact always with her. Somehow, I feel unsafe with it.
I've told my gf I don't like it like it, but I can't do more than that. Any good advice can help me right now. Please just tell your current girl friend to stop seeing her, because it's very dangerous because she might have another motive or confront her to know what she wants from your girlfriend,both of you should be careful of your ex. |

Politics › Re: President Buhari Counts 'Looted' Dollars At EFCC Headquarter (Photos) by Coolbadguy: 9:47pm On May 15, 2018 |
itsdumebi: @POLITICSNGR
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday surprised attendees at the commissioning of a new EFCC building today in Abuja when he picked a wad of dollar notes and started counting them.
After inaugurating the building said to be worth N25 billion, President Muhammadu Buhari went on inspection. When he got to the exhibition stand, he was shown some recovered loot and the president held a wad of dollars to the amazement of many, including Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the commission.
PoliticsNGR has been furnished with a transcript of his speech at the event, read it below;
This is another milestone in our determined and collective fight against corruption.
2. Throughout my journey in national service and since 2015, I have made a very conscious decision to pursue a vigorous fight against corruption in public life.
3. Since 2015, we have made significant progress in the fight against corruption. Everyone now knows that corrupt officials will be held to account, no matter how long it takes.
4. We have recovered and are still recovering trillions of naira that were stolen in the past few years by people without conscience.
5. We are pursuing recoveries everywhere and are making sure that anyone who has been found culpable is made to answer for his or her crime under the law.
6. It is my hope and expectation that the judiciary, which is a critical stakeholder and partner in the war against corruption, would continue to collaborate with the Executive to bring corrupt people to book.
7. Permit me to also seize this opportunity to call on the Legislature which provides the legal framework for the anti-corruption war to add more verve to the determination of government to rid our nation of the brazen corruption witnessed in recent years, through reviewing archaic provisions in our laws and proactive passage of new legislation.
8. Ladies and gentlemen, an American author and philanthropist, Anthony Robbins once said: “The only impossible journey is the one you never begin." He was saying, in other words, that if you are determined, no obstacle will be big enough to stand in your way.
9. What I see here is not only a structure of concrete and metal, I see in this edifice, the resolve of Nigerians to fight corruption. But structures are not the whole story. We must CHANGE our ways of handling public trust. Corruption not only kills governments but destroys societies. It is the major reason why we are struggling with basic developmental issues that other comparable nations have long overcome.
10. War of corruption is not an easy one to fight, because it affects so many different branches of our lives, so much that some people do not even consider breaking trust is anymore a crime. It has become the norm. That is why we must fight this attitude and encourage Nigerians to CHANGE their attitudes and perspectives.
11. The goal of this Administration is to ensure the protection of public trust, and the anti-corruption war is at its centre. We never intended, and we are not engaged in witch-hunts, but we are determined within the laws to call people to account.
12. It is for this reason that we appeal to Nigerians to support regulatory agencies like Economic and Financial Crimes Commission because fighting corruption is everyone’s concern. I call on the Judiciary and the National Assembly to join hands in this national effort.
13. I am glad to note that quite a number of nations are signifying interest to help us tighten their laws and enter into agreements with Nigeria to repatriate not only stolen funds but to make the culprits face due process of law.
14. We are committed to working with our foreign friends to stop the inflow of stolen funds from Nigeria into their countries and recovering what is there already. These assets, when repatriated will be put to building our infrastructure.
15. It is my pleasure to perform the opening ceremony of the ‘’Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Headquarters’’.

OChimex: Not even a single exceptional footballer among them. The caption should really read "30 comedians who want to go try their luck." Sometimes I sit down and ask myself, what is really wrong with African footballers? Don't these bunch of mediocre aspire for greatness, working so hard like Kante, messy, Ronaldo, MoSalah etc? I understand that their only motivation is to claim to be footballers with stupid awful hairstyles like that of a madman, driving around streets in this shithole stupid fairly used cars, that's all. For over twenty years now most of them have been playing football, yet, see the stupid clubs they go pack themselves. Don't these comedians get envious when they see others break and set records and receive awards? When will Nigeria get a squad like the 1994 guys who were talented, hard working, ambitious and devoted so hungry for greatness?
I bet you these comedians can't beat any team in the world cup, unless if the team is made up of disables. You can't even wish them success and you want people to wish you success, it is what you wish someone that's what you will get in return, so please wish them good if you also want success in life and learn how to appreciate someone no matter how big or small the person looks like because you are not God. |

While reacting to Obasanjo’s announcement on the transformation of his political movement into a political party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bello said the APC is well prepared to slug it out with the new party in the 2019 general elections.
Bello’s challenge on Obasanjo was made at a stakeholders’ forum organized in Lokoja recently. He said;
"Let us see who they will present to contest against President Muhammadu Buhari, our God-given leader, whom US President Donald Trump, even referred to as Sir." He added;

FlirtyKaren: Yesterday, we reported that Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo will be walking down the aisle his fiancee Gifty Mawunya, in strings of event scheduled to take place today and tomorrow.
Everyone wants to know which lady managed to finally ‘tame the beast’ that is John Dumelo and contrary to a lot of reportage she’s not some ordinary lady or one of the ‘common floor members’.
Mawunya is the sister of Selassie Ibrahim, the well known NDC supporting actress who ran Smarttys Management, the company at the centre of the bus branding scandal during the John Dramani Mahama presidency.
She’s also besties with none other than Nadia Buari, so clearly she runs around in those kind of ‘high society’ circles. Anyway, rumour has it that Nadia was the matchmaker for these two lovebirds.
This is not the first time John Dumelo and Mawunya have been reported to be a couple. In September, a picture of them (the one below) surfaced while they vacationed in Dubai but the lady's name was unknown at the time.
Born February 3, 1984, John Dumelo has been one of the most sought-after single guys in the country in the past few years as his love life has been shrouded in secrecy since he burst onto the scene.
He recently caused a stir on social media when he shared a photo of a lady wearing an engagement ring with the curious caption, "she said yes!!!" Many thought John had proposed to his girlfriend but he was only a witness to the photo he shared.
It turned out that it was colleague actor, Frederick Nuamah who proposed to his girlfriend, now his wife, Materkor. Well we can say that he used the post to test the pulse of Ghanaians, for his upcoming wedding.
