I was referring to religions impacts on science and the modern day. Regardless we can go back and forth all day, but it is laughable to say that the whole world got it wrong to believe in the existence of some other powerful force(s). Philosophically, life is too complex to banish that thought from the mind.


Evolution is still just a theory. I believe in mutation but to tell me that every bird came from dinosaur or human from a monkey , I am going to disagree on that.

If you're going to deny evolution, then what other scientific model can you propose?

It is believed in Islam that Prophet Muhammad is a descendant of Abraham. Typing out the whole genealogy for you to see is a waste of time because religion is about belief. First of all, morality is not a societal construct but an inherent composition of man put there by the Alpha and Omega. How do i know? It is not taught or forced upon any man by society but simply makes itself known with maturity. And a pointer to it, is nothing more than creating awareness of its presence.

Why do you agree that stealing is wrong even from childhood. Is it because your dad, mum, aunt, granny said its so? No honey. It is because you have a sense that tells you which is correct and which is not. If the society was not aware of this sense of judgement inside of you it would either not bother at all or subject itself to very big work. People would have to follow you around from infancy to your death bed because they are not sure of you. And those following you would have people doing same to them. Funny right? but that is what would happen if God had allowed the society do his work.

Secondly, morality is not subjective but objective. No society celebrates immorality. And all of them make laws that agree with our conscience. None celebrates basic evils like murder, cheating, lying etc. You should ask why they all go in one direction as regards this matter and you will see we have a carefully designed CPU in us all.

Eh, I'm not sure you can say that the conscience is the same for everyone. Let's look at the ancient Aztecs for example, they were a society with a large number of gods that they worshiped. One of their main modes of worship was human sacrifice, they would slaughter a virgin girl and sacrifice her heart to the gods. That was what they knew and that was celebrated in their culture.

Then, let's look at serial killers and paedophiles, some of them don't believe that anything they're doing is wrong in any way. Some would tell you that it's better to marry a 9 year old than for a 21 year old to have premarital sex.

So for you to say that the conscience is evidence for God is wrong because different people have a different sense morality. Many are even in direct conflict with others (for example, I think paedophilia is always wrong).
