Christianity should promote one Truth in Christ. The problem with some people is that they claim to be spirit filled but lack wisdom MaxInDHouse: They thought Christianity is about welcoming all ideas in the name of Jesus Christ! |

Quote me where i criticize anyone? Even if i did, did you need to retaliate? I mean I don't need a PhD before becoming a lecturer like mum lol. Makes me feel your lying cos i tested you the second term and you failed. If you said something like "professor", i wouldn't have questioned your family history Rosement: I warned you to stop but you kept criticizing. Make your words clear, What is wrong with the word "lecturer". |

Rosement: You are free to preach your own religion but not to disrespect other's religion. Anyone that accepts jw's faith should simply convert, instead of trying to change the doctrines of other religions.
Not just me, my family members are literates. If me and you start arguing about qualifications, you will cry. You that cannot even stand near my younger sister. Even my brother is doing his PhD program and he is about to become a lecturer like mum. This your claim in bold is somehow "lecturer"?
Common sense did not tell you that Russell, the bloke that created your group in the late 1870s was an ignorant man. You are just embracing his words of ignorance blindly and looking for every means to backup his lies. What sense does that make? Anyway, that is your personal problem, I really don't care. You are entitled to your own belief and opinions but you have no the right to disrespect other's beliefs. Stop trying to force those lies Charles told you guys on us.
We Christians are not dump or gullible, a mere, ungodly man cannot just instruct us, we read our Bible daily and only follow what is in our Bible. I understand the Trinity very well, I am not those your friends or neighbours but there is no reason for me to argue with you because I am not interested in fetching water into a basket. Arguing with you is even pointless, it can be compared to Messi or Ronaldo arguing with grassroot players and trying to explain why they are better. People can see the clear difference already. If I argue with you, it is just as if I am adding a little value to something that is completely valueless.
Thank you for the compliment ma Are JWs Muslims?
What is the point of the agrument? It is not as if any true Christian will fall for your lies and some of your jw brothers are even realising the truth and converting to Christianity, so your argument is so pointless. The same way KFC advertise their products without emphasizing on or comparing themselves to a road side eatery but they are still able to attract customers easily without bending their standards. That is the same way it is pointless for Christians to agree with you guys because only empty barrels that make noises.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
These verses in bold are contrary to your post I hope you understand now, do have a nice day! I love your criticism about the JWs and Russell. It's kind of ironic cos you reiterated that i shouldn't criticize anyone. Have a good night rest |

Rosement: Relevation 1:8 Jesus called Himself God in the Bible. Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
Woman try reading the chapter from verse 1-8 from other translations. You would see that it was God being referred to as the Almighty
Twisting of life. Anyway, I don't blame you, Russell, your master has limited you guys. Perhaps, you only finished primary school because anybody that understands English will definitely understand this verse, even a five years old will interpret this verse properly.
You wey no read pass jss3 how you take de understand KJV English. If you want proper understanding of the Bible compare verses with various bible translations. KJV won't do you much good
I have told you I am not forcing you to learn. Just stop criticizing and insulting the Christian doctrine and follow the religion your level of IQ allow you to understand. Why are you fetching water into a basket? What will your criticisms do? It can't change anything so your arguments are pointless, the truth is very clear. Nobody Christian will bow to your words, they are just empty words without points.
See i grew up in environment where people around me believe in Trinity. You only believe in Trinity not because you understand its concept but your made to think that it's mystery or you need to believe by the spirit of God. Bla bla ba. Muslim don covert trinitarians don convert.
Just use your common sense, would you like it or keep quiet if we Christians open threads to insult or criticize your group, just because we don't agree with your beliefs? Rosement: If you are not forcing your lies on others, then stop criticizing Christianity. Jesus, the Son is Equal with the Father. This is our belief and we will continue to belief this. You are free to convert if you don't accept. We really don't care, don't expect our doctrines to change because of you.
I'll address your post base on equality of God and Jesus Christ and I'll address other points later. What does the bible really say? 1 Corinthians 11:3 [3]But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God (the Father). John 14:28 [28]Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.
Jesus claimed that all authority was given him by the Father. Who's greater the Father or the son? The one who gives or the one who received?
Jesus called Himself God in the Bible. Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
This is misinterpretation. Pls read the verses again. Revelation 1:1,8 [1]This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, [8]“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” Note from verse 1 that it was a revelation from God to Jesus. God gave him the revelation. One YHWH is the Almighty God. Jesus never claimed that.
(John 5:16-23) 17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Jesus never claimed to be God but God's son. John 10:36 [36]why do you call it blasphemy when I say, ‘I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world. Pls read from verse 30 The Truth is Jesus is a God (mighty one) but not the Almighty GOD that has no beginning. I'll post you a link later if you want to know what the Hebrew mean when the say God. Hebrew perspective of God. It's so important sister.
Jesus said that He is the son of God, He never said the Son is less than the Father, instead He even explained that the Son is equal with the Father. His dependency on His Father does not mean that He is less than His Father, it only explains the difference between their roles, just like husbands and wives have different roles to perform in their families. The Jews understood what He meant very well that was why they wanted to kill Him.
When he claimed to be directly from the Father like God is his biological father, why wouldn't they think he was claiming to be God. Won't God give birth to God? But the fact is a husband has authority over his wife and they actually depend on each other. But God is never dependent on Jesus. Cos everything Jesus have was given to him by the Father.
(John 10:30) "I and my Father are one." They are not one as God but one in purpose. John 17:21-22 [21]I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. [22]“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one, they are all equal. It was only when Jesus was in the world that He considered Himself lower than God because He came to the world fully in human form, not in His Godly form.
(Philippians 2) 6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
He was in the form of God not the Almighty God Himself. Jesus could claim equality but that would make him a rebellious son to God who made him everything he is. The fact is; in heaven after God is Jesus.
(Matthew 28) 18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
God gave him all powers which shows that God is superior to him.
People have been worshipping Jesus since the time He was born. He wants us to worship Him as God, there are a lot of verses in the Bible where Jesus allowed people to worship Him. Follow your own religion. Bible is for Christians, we will continue to read and believe what will see in our Bible. We don't read the books of other religions, talkless of debating their doctrines or books. Jesus taught his disciples to worship Jehovah the Father in spirit and truth. The form of worship Jesus received in the bible is prostration and paying homage to someone |

Yes he found Jesus when he was baby and died peacefully because go promised he wouldn't die. So he was waiting for the messiah rather than believing in him for the forgiveness of sin. tctrills: That's my point. Simeon found Christ because he followed the teachings of the prophets. That is the idea of the entire old testament, to led the Jews to Christ. Only very few got the message. Let us not be like the Jews in Jesus time and miss the message of the old testament |

There's no need for argument again. I take that as your personal assumption. They testify or prophesy of Christ is same to me. Forgiveness of sin isn't same as being born again. Remission of sin through Jesus started after he was sacrified on the cross. Though killing animal wasn't perfect for forgiveness of sin, the old testament people strictly adhere to the Mosaic law till the time of Jesus and probably till now in Judaism. This are the fact you would see from the Bible. I don't need to quote verse. Moses was the first prophet of God and he first talk bout Christ coming. Nothing shows that they (Israel) believed him before he came for their remission or forgiveness of sin be he actually came. tctrills: Never forget Acts 10.43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
Samuel clearly knew about him. Also, never forget Revelation's 19.10 For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Every one of them knew about him. Don't forget that the same spirit we have now was with them in times of old. 2peter1.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost |

Simeon was able to know from the law. The patriarchs aren't prophets. God never told him about Christ. Some prophet like Samuel didn't know about Christ cos God didn't reveal to them. tctrills: Amos 3.7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. We christians already know he came, promise fulfilled. We believed by reading the prophecies (testifyings) and accounts of Jesus. Their faith was that God will send Christ to them. You can choose whatever way you see it but i see it differently. For them it was promise not received but for us na promise already on ground na to just believe and recurve. tctrills: Is that nor the same faith of every Chistian? Like them our faith is that God sent Christ to save us. What is the difference. Again they all testified of him. Unless they were false witness, they couldn't testify of what they didn't know. They knew of Christ hence every prophet testified of him. |

Yes they saw it from a distance, welcomed or believed it but didn't receive it hmm. Yeah the promise came to pass but not in their lifetime tctrills: Let's not argue over everything. I agree with you, no one received salvation before Christ came but that was why I taught you about faith. Let's read some verses from Hebrew 11
1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. We learn from 13 that they may not have received the promises in their lifetime but it does not mean these promises wouldn't come to pass. |

You don't know what prophecies are? Those are written in future tenses tctrills: This is what Isaiah knew about Jesus Christ. How is it different from what you know. 53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. |

Oh im not really familiar to that verse. Then definitely God can make them come into the kingdom without being born. Abraham faith was count as righteousness for him. Only Abraham Isaac Jacob and all the prophets? What bout the judges of Israel and the people of Israel? My point is still the same Christ sacrifice was effective when he came to earth and died. The verses i provided from Hebrew proved that. You don't have to assume that the prophets and the patriarchs were born again through Christ death that hadn't happened yet. Being born again is being baptized by the holy spirit. So definitely the patriarchs and prophets will be part of God's kingdom nice. The book of revelation shows that only the 144000 will be in heaven with Christ while others will be in the grave and be resurrected when Christ comes back in the future. tctrills: read and stop disgracing yourself bro
Luke 13:28
In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.
