People with thin, strait hair...have a bigger chance of cornrows damaging their hair. Braids and cornrows are not for oyinbos. We see more traction issues with black people simply because we braid more, and generally have more style, so we do more with our hair. |

While traction alopecia is not tied to a disease, it can still lead to permanent hair loss if a person wears certain hairstyles resulting in long-term scalp pulling. The good news is avoiding certain hairstyles treatment can usually reverse hair loss caused by traction alopecia.
Traction Alopecia Causes
Traction and friction related to certain hairstyles, combing/brushing hair too vigorously or tugging at it over time can cause traction alopecia. Persistent gentle pulling is typically painless and may go unnoticed until bald spots or alopecia starts to appear. Any of the following can cause stress and tension to one’s hair:
Very tight ponytails or pigtails Tight braids or cornrows Dreadlocks Extension (single) braids Hair weaves or wigs attached with glue, clips, or tape Headbands (even fabric ones) worn day after day Tight hairpieces Frequent use of hair pins, hair bands, and clips (especially day after day in the same hairstyle) Tight headgear worn frequently or for long stretches of time that tend to rub or pull repeatedly on the same area of hair (e.g. cycling helmets) Repeated use of hair rollers Repeated pulling of the hair with the hands (a condition called trichotillomania) |

Research, plan, and prepare. People who are unhappy often neglect these simple things. But you have to remember that even when everything is right, you may still realize that ultimately you're happier at home. |

boyka1: A plumber charged me £48 for a minute job. I was gobsmacked when he said he charged someone £120 to fix his clogged toilet. Plumbers dey make mad money. Tip: Watch the plumber when they fix something minor. You'll find that inexpensive tools can take care of minor plumbing issues. But understand that you need to be very confident in what you're doing. |

1. You may have a medical problem that requires treatment. There are free resources to evaluate yourself.
2. It could just be a phase. You may just be a young guy, and that's typical behavior you'll laugh about later.
3. This material is wrong. I'm talking specifically about hardcore material. It dehumanizes women and contributes to taking their power in society. It is not harmless. It also desensitizes you, so that you find it challenging to have a healthy intimate relationship.
4. Some of this material comes from human traffickers. Consuming it means you support that.
5. Softcore (fake) or "3rotic"/s3nsual material is not bad. It's a part of a healthy attitude towards relationships and intimacy. Normal, healthy artistic expression depicts love/intimacy and all the wonderful things about it.
6. You should consult your religious leader to determine how, as a Xtian, you treat romantic art in your life. Depending on your beliefs, you may have to abstain from certain kinds of material. |

Lesson 17: The Sin of Judging Others (James 4:11-12) https://bible.org/seriespage/lesson-17-sin-judging-others-james-411-12(1). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU CRITICIZE HIM OUT OF JEALOUSY, BITTERNESS, SELFISH AMBITION, OR SOME OTHER SIN, RATHER THAN SEEKING TO BUILD HIM IN CHRIST.
(2). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW ALL OF THE PERTINENT FACTS AND MOTIVES BEHIND THE PERSON’S WORDS OR ACTIONS.
(3). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU SET UP HUMAN STANDARDS, RATHER THAN HOLDING TO GOD’S WORD AS THE STANDARD.
(4). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU DO NOT FIRST JUDGE YOUR OWN SIN BEFORE TRYING TO HELP HIM WITH HIS SIN.
(5). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU SHARE CONFIDENTIAL OR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THE WRONG INTENT.
(6). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN OUT OF A SELF-RIGHTEOUS SPIRIT, YOU CRITICIZE OR MALIGN HIM OVER A MINOR OR INDIFFERENT MATTER.
(7). YOU JUDGE SOMEONE WRONGLY WHEN YOU MAKE AN AUTHORITATIVE PRONOUNCEMENT ABOUT HIS ETERNAL DESTINY. A. SUBMIT TO GOD’S AUTHORITATIVE WORD BY ACTIVELY LOVING OTHERS WITH YOUR WORDS. Love does not tear down others; it builds them in Christ. If you speak against others and criticize them to make yourself look good, you are loving yourself, not others. You are not obeying God’s law; you are setting yourself above it. Of course we must love others with our deeds, not in words only. But here James is focusing on how we speak to one another and about others who are not present. Our words need to demonstrate God’s love. Read the full article for references. |

Imports should be limited, not banned. We need to have some amount of "insurance" or alternatives if there are problems. Imports should also be taxed heavily. We have to encourage preference for buying local.
Government also needs to subsidize local farming. |
