Don't accept employment outside North America or northwest Europe. You will not be safe elsewhere, and you're very unlikely to be paid. |

Whether a job is skilled or not does not dictate if companies choose to outsource. Various large American employers and government contracting companies use labor from Asia, the Caribbean, and elsewhere, skilled and unskilled. Just do your research to find these entities, make sure it's legit and safe, and seize any opportunities that come your way. Note that the job could be just about anywhere, long-term or short, low or high pay, and opportunities for advancement or none. |
I found this after reading Okungbowa's Son of the Storm, and wanting more. This to me is a great find. And I don't think there's anything else like it out there. Enjoy. ![]() https://omenana.com/ |
Are you scared about fatherhood or nervous about the health of your baby? |
You would really charge your spouse? Wtf. |
Maybe he meant well, but it comes across exploitative. And it doesn't appear like he's tried to help the man. |
You're going to attract users. You should finance your wife's education because you're a loving partner, not to treat your spouse like build-a-bear. |
From what I've seen, some locations use contracted foreign labor for seasonal work. These are popular vacation destinations. |
NYSC gives people valuable life experience and some new skills. It also helps in developing existing skills. After completing studies, it's a really good transition thing to do. Unless someone has to pass on a great opportunity (e.g. job or study abroad) to do it, they shouldn't feel like it's a bad decision. |
Bayyajidda:Pick any country in South America, eastern Europe, west Asia, or east Asia. |
JonOfAustrlia:You just told us all about yourself. You told us you don't give a sh** about your spouse, your marriage, or anything involving him beyond exploitation. I am guessing you are surrounded by people who dont respect you and you are a whitness of your acussations. You are saying more about yourselfYou don't need to be on the receiving end of dysfunction or evil to recognize it. And unfortunately, people like you are very common. And they often end up bitter and alone because they go through life behaving like a psychopath. He'll likely put up with it until he finds his feet, and then leave you. You're no different than an abusive male. |
Nicholaspepe:Nigeria isn't the only country where this happens. |
JonOfAustrlia:He makes a fraction of what you do, you can't expect him to spend every dollar he has. If he earned more than you, he probably wouldn't ask you for anything. While im working he gets to come home and sleep he gets to go to schoolSchool is a job, and he also has part-time employment. If school isn't a job, go be a full or part time student while working, then tell me it's not a job. he uses the soap electricity and tv for free does not pay for upkeep of children clothes their diapersHe's supposed to be your life partner and the father of your children, and you're actually complaining about paying for basic human needs? Seriously? does not treat me well. You don't treat him well either. Does this man actually even love me? How can someone be so negligent? Doesnt clean the house barely pays for bills works 20 hours but I still end up taking care of kids after work and almost all hours on the weekends. He's probably depressed about the situation. It's harder on the male ego, and starting over isn't exactly fun. Especially when your wife treats you like garbage. A better question is if you love him. I feel like im in a relationship by myself. If you keep this attitude, you will be by yourself. Regardless of what you might think about him, at a minimum there's some fat girl that will gladly boo him up, let him live and eat free, go to school, and then reap the rewards of being a supportive partner when he graduates and gets a good job. If you're not careful, you'll be a bitter single mom scrolling his social media looking at pictures of him and the fat wife on a nice vacation with their kids, or relaxing in the big house he bought. |
Has he struggled with girls in the past? Is this the first girl that gave him attention? He may have issues with confidence. Since you're religious, maybe have your pastor talk to him. |
If this is true, it's financial abuse. Divorce him. https://www.verywellmind.com/financial-abuse-4155224 Excerpt: When most people think of domestic abuse, the first thing that comes to mind is likely verbal abuse and physical assault. But research shows that financial abuse occurs just as frequently in unhealthy relationships as other forms of abuse. |
So basically Russia lost. They lost before they even started. |
soundOsonic:lol You wish. You're a clown whining about women not being hurt by your petty, childish insults. Grow up. |
soundOsonic:Really? Then why did you make a thread crying about it? |
Legal system. |

He has a net worth of $350M. He can wipe his tears with $100 bills. |

The People’s Court of Shanxi province recently rendered a criminal verdict which disclosed a franchised Xiaolongkan hot pot restaurant in the city of Yulin was using gutter oil in their hot pot base soup. The case revealed that more than 2 tons of gutter oil had been used in a span of two years. Five people were indicted for the production, sale, and distribution of harmful raw ingredients. Gutter oil is recycled out of waste oil collected from sources such as restaurant fryers, sewers, and grease traps, then reprocessed and sold as cooking oil – usually to street vendors and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. It can contain carcinogens and other toxins that are harmful when consumed by humans. On Jul 15, a reporter from Beijing News called Xiaolongkan’s food safety hotline and was told by staff that Xiaolongkan has terminated the franchise agreement with the indicted restaurant. Xiaolongkan Food and Beverage Management Company also issued an apology saying that it has fully cooperated with the local authorities to deal with the incident since the investigation began in 2019. China has long battled food safety concerns around the practice of using gutter oil in hot pot and other dishes. According to legal experts, restaurants turn to gutter oil when they want to cut costs, and many vendors have been involved in such clandestine operations. Founded in 2014, Xiaolongkan is a popular Sichuan hot pot chain that has aggressively expanded across China. The hot pot powerhouse has four Beijing locations – in Sanlitun, Shunyi, Wangjing, and Wudaokou – as well as over a thousand stores in mainland China and multiple overseas franchises including Tokyo, Melbourne, and New York City. thebeijinger.com/blog/2020/07/19/xiaolongkan-exposed-selling-2-tons-gutter-oil-over-two-years

Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Anne Milgram, the Administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”), announced today the arrests of TAKESHI EBISAWA, SOMPHOP SINGHASIRI, SUKSAN JULLANAN, a/k/a “Bobby,” and SOMPAK RUKRASARANEE, for international narcotics and weapons trafficking offenses. EBISAWA, a Japanese national, JULLANAN, a United States and Thai national, and RUKRASARANEE, a Thai national, were arrested in Manhattan on April 4, 2022. SINGHASIRI, a Thai national, was arrested in Manhattan on April 5, 2022. EBISAWA, JULLANAN, and RUKRASARANEE were presented before Magistrate Judge Jennifer Willis on April 5, 2022, and were ordered detained, and SINGHASIRI was presented before Judge Willis on April 6, 2022, and was ordered detained. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said: “We allege Mr. Ebisawa and his co-conspirators brokered deals with an undercover DEA agent to buy heavy-duty weaponry and sell large quantities of illegal drugs. The drugs were destined for New York streets, and the weapons shipments were meant for factions in unstable nations. Members of this international crime syndicate can no longer put lives in danger and will face justice for their illicit actions.” DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said: “The expansive reach of transnational criminal networks, like the Yakuza, presents a serious threat to the safety and health of all communities. Ebisawa and his associates intended to distribute hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine and heroin to the United States, using deadly weapons to enable their criminal activities, at a time when nearly 300 Americans lose their lives to drug overdose every day. These arrests represent the unwavering determination of the DEA, together with our U.S. and international partners, to target and bring to justice violent criminals who lead transnational drug trafficking organizations that continue to flood our country with dangerous drugs.” According to the allegations contained in the Complaint charging the defendants, which was unsealed today in Manhattan federal court:[1] Since at least in or about 2019, the DEA has been investigating EBISAWA, a leader within the Japanese transnational organized crime syndicate also known as Yakuza, in connection with large-scale narcotics and weapons trafficking. The Yakuza is a network of highly organized, transnational crime families with affiliates in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and is involved in various criminal activities, including weapons trafficking, drug trafficking, human trafficking, fraud, and money laundering. A team of engineers at Stanford University have developed a solar cell that can generate some electricity at night. The research comes at a moment when the number of solar jobs and residential installations are rising. While standard solar panels can provide electricity during the day, this device can serve as a "continuous renewable power source for both day- and nighttime," according to the study published this week in the journal Applied Physics Letters. The device incorporates a thermoelectric generator, which can pull electricity from the small difference in temperature between the ambient air and the solar cell itself. "Our approach can provide nighttime standby lighting and power in off-grid and mini-grid applications, where [solar] cell installations are gaining popularity," the study said. Mini-grid applications refer to independent electricity networks. These can be used when a population is too small or too far away to extend the grid. It wasn't until recently that solar energy declined in price and became much more affordable. Some companies have bought into the program, and California has even incentivized the shift to solar. As the war continues in Ukraine, Abigail Ross Hopper, president and CEO of Solar Energy Industries Association, the national trade association for the solar industry, told CNBC that investing in energy alternatives is important. "In the face of global supply uncertainty, we must ramp up clean energy production and eliminate our reliance on hostile nations for our energy needs," the CEO said. npr.org/2022/04/07/1091320428/solar-panels-that-can-generate-electricity-at-night-have-been-developed-at-stanf |

emiriam:Not true. And plenty of family members can/will be angry over your success. 2. Love is a myth. For no reason, no one is your friend. Not true. There are people who wish they weren't so pulled/pushed by love. 4. Everyone has a role in your life and when their role ends, they will leave you. So be strong. This sounds like the ramblings of a her0in addict. 5. Money has a strong place in everyone's life, but unfortunately it can't buy you everything.Obviously, it can't buy everything. But people who yammer the most about this tend to be trash/bums that despise ambition and hard work. 6. Laugh with everyone, but don't trust anyone. This is irrational. 7. People say they are telling the truth, but nobody really wants to hear it.What does this even mean? lol 8. Nobody gives a damn about what you think or what you do, it's just your perspective they think of you.Bullsh**. People have to in order to function in society. Furthermore, the more dysfunctional someone is, the more irrational obsession they have with others. 9. Expectations always hurt. So expect less or no expectations from others. This is irrational. 10. Never ever sacrifice your happiness for someone else.Sacrifice is a part of life. Only a crāzy person doesn't get that. 12. Living a simple life gives you more time for the important things.A "simple life" is subjective, and it doesn't guarantee you time. 13. The sooner you learn to live alone, the sooner you understand the meaning of life. You are your best friend.Nonsense. It's not that deep. And humans are social creatures; see solitary confinement. 14. Never reveal your secret to anyone. That depends entirely on the person and the secret. |
