He never said anything thing about changing DOCTRINES, it was just about few processes meant to guide marriage committee that some how seem too strict to young people having to go through them in order to avoid immorality as they go about their different stages of marriage arrangements. Many of the people spreading propagandas about Deeper life are outsiders who don't know Jack about the doctrines of the church. I was born into deeper life and aside from those old days, deeper life have moved on from many of those. But many outsiders keep spreading the old doctrines.

He is having a program in Abuja, for all you know, his members may have arranged for the vehicle that will pick him at the airport.
In all, I don't think anyone should have a problem with how another person chose to spend his own money as long as he made it legitimately. And he never said his members shouldn't have a life. If you attend deeper camp programs, you will see the kind of cars the pastors drive.
There are just too many lies about the church and most of them are circulated by outsiders like you who have zero knowledge of happening within the church.
They said deeper life members don't use TV, yet if you go to deeper church you will see that every single deeper life church has a TV in it. Infact, it's compulsory.
They said the church has a ridiculous marriage doctrines yet Redeemed have a tougher marriage doctrines and no one is talking about it. I married my wife in a Redeemed church and I know what we went through. Even as a deeper life member, I found it annoying at a point! I mean that church rejected her wedding dress 5 times. If it was deeper life, people will start talking.

I have still never heard Kumuyi bragging about material possessions as some other church leaders do, so I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

Take it or leave it, he's closer to God than most church leaders of this nation are.

He tried to get things right because of his love for God, but made some errors along the way. It's better than not trying at all or caring about doing things the right way, which is what many others are guilty of.

By the way, I am not a member of his church and don't think I have ever stepped my feet into a deeper life church building, but I have some respect for the man because I can see in him a man who really has the interest of God at heart.

The irony actually is that a few years ago, I could swear on my balls that a deeper life pastor in one STS will preach about the extravagant and "for show" life of a pastor that did the same. Because a Limousine is obviously only needed when you want to show off affluence. It's not more convenient in function. It makes only one statement: We have money.


While I actually think showing off God's goodness, wisdom and grace is what we are here to do, the church had taken a contrary stand and built a followership from that.

Brother Godwin Ebuka Ebenezer poised to the tee, thanked the God of Chosen for granting him scholarship to attend the Nigeria Police Academy.

This scholarship came after several attempts in gaining admission to university even after finishing his secondary school education in 2012.
This continued to the point that their neighbor in their place of residence began questioning whether he was intelligent enough to study his heart desire, which was law.

These comments demoralized the morale of this young man, particularly because he was known for his faith in God. In 2014, Brother Ebenezer and his father had the opportunity of meeting with the General Overseer of the Lords’ Chosen charismatic Revival Ministries and he was prayed for.

In the midst of uncertainty and overqualified candidates, our brother made the set of the selected twelve to study law at the Nigeria Police Academy.
As this was a double programme – military/paramilitary training and law, our brother continued with the God of Chosen throughout the course.

People passed away and some were rusticated because they were unable to cope with the programme. This was not the case with Brother Ebenezer as he successfully completed the programme in June 2021 on a full scholarship which lasted for five and a half years. He is now a graduate of double honors – Senior Police Officer and graduate of law.

His prayer is for God to give the oil and unction to carry out his work as an incorruptible police officer and bring about change in Nigeria. Watch how he overcame his fears, obtained the scholarship amidst travails and the outstanding salute rendered to the God of Chosen -

To all who have blindly commented against the Man of God using limousine, here's the real fact. Take an excursion to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, then beg the people there to allow you enter the VIP lounge, you will see that the limo in question belongs to Airpeace which is being used to carry VIPs who disembarked from perhaps, a chartered flight. Then, they use the limo to take them from the tarmac to the terminal where they will then trek out to where their vehicles are parked outside. None of the members of DL in Abuja owns the limo. Kumuyi did not use it outside the Airport too. And for those disturbing their minds on doctrines, DL has no written doctrines except the ones we called 22 cardinal doctrines which were all coined out of the Holy Bible, except you don't have one. Or better put, you are such that it's only the stories of the Bible you were told. Read and internalise the Bible stories and instructions, if you can live by all of them, surely you can't miss heaven.

Nevertheless, men set up traditions (remember Matthew 15:2, 8?). A lecturer take for example, may say, if you make noise in my class, I'll send you out. He said that to maintain orderliness in his class of which the school management may know nothing about. But that doesn't make the lecturer an offender to the university's laws. If such is achieving the purpose for which such traditions were made, no problem. But, where the problem will be is when such traditions have replaced the very BIBLICAL DOCTRINES set up by God Himself, then, it is a big problem.

Read your Bible, not with arrogance or pride or intellectualism, come at it with humility by first reading Job 34:32. If since you've been reading it, it has not pointed you to the Saviour of your soul from sin which can take you to hell, you have not started yet. If you've not repented from your sins and turn a new life in Christ Jesus, you are still playing. Take the step, even now!

So I attend deeper life from childhood days. I have attended logic and philosophy classes. Na one Prof (wey be real born again Christian even take us that year) He has many atheists friends but He had personal encounter with Christ so he was sure of what he believed. Now all deeperlife doctrines are embedded in the Bible and i can so bet with my life they are true. Then for someone to say deeperlife are downtrodden (am not rich oo.. but am certain am richer than that person). For pastor to use limo catch cruise. Even if Na my tithe dem use. I Dey so much happy at least the man chop my money of which Na even member just Honour am with it. Even me fit rent limo so what’s the big deal.
