I have no problem with errors but provided we are open to corrections, is not repeating, not deliberate and void of unfaithfulness of all kinds and cheats.
If you already have no problem with errors (deception, unfaithfulness, lies), what then is the issue?

The guy target female folks directly! You want me to type it in Spanish? grin

For instance, I once opened a thread looking for an apartment... Chai! You would think I stole something ni or know the guys directly. Its appalling grin
Only you one are female folks.. abi cheesy

If someone targets females generally and not you specifically, what makes it personal to you? Should I ask it in Latin? grin

On your thread, if you're attacked then you should be offended.
Your offense still shouldn't stop them from offending you though, since offending you is not a crime under any law. grin

Apparently you still dont get. If I start attacking you with foe language now( yes, he does direct targeting too), would we say its my entitled opinion because its not your true state? Why then do people get arrested for hate speech or insults on offices? Why is there a legal term called libels(hope I spelt that correctly) or defamation of characters? Let me let you enjoy your day...it gets tiring going round a circle. Cheers.
For direct targeting on your person, sure you have every reason to be offended na cheesy

But targeting a gender that has over 5000 members on Nairaland, and then YOU take it personal...what does it say about you?

Lol, cheers..

I personally hate lies and unfaithfulness and is not ready to reap that since I had never planted it against any and won’t. How can one minimize falling into the trap for the sake of his destiny commitments.
You do that by leaving a space in your heart and mind open for errors.

This is not to minimize anything though, but to provide an emotional buffer.

You can only control your own actions and reactions, NEVER that of another person...not even someone you love.

He generalizes naija women in his insults, streamlined it to Nland females....so yes, he should put his mouth where his money is. How does he in one minute call them failures and in the next ask them for alms? It doesn't follow. By the way, he begs generally.... Only one came through for him.
You keep typing 'them' cheesy
How many?

Well I'm not going to make conversation out of someone else's financial need or how being needy should stop anyone from expressing opinions in the 21st century.
That's akin to saying that the beggar you pass by on the streets should NEVER have an opinion about people because he gets his sustenance from people.

If an opinion (or insult) doesn't reflect your reality, why would it be offensive to you?
Is everybody supposed to put you on a pedestal?

Good write up bro, good write up.
Do you know a lot of ladies have abused me just because i do advise men not to marry a liability? Even up till yesterday, y'baby and generatorset abused and mocked me for looking for who to share bills with.
The entitlement mentality is very strong.
When they say they want a rich man and not a broke one, i don't talk of abuse them but when i say i need a woman to share bills with me, All hell was let loose, i was abused and dragged to the mud, i was called different derogatory names.
If not that have married, i would have gently and quietly avoid a nigerian lady.
Most are financial disasters and drainages.
I pity the average nigerian man about to marry.
Don't tell me it was Nairaland that made you realize this... grin

Family / Re: Would You Marry Someone Because Your Imam/pastor Advised You To? by crackland: 10:34am On May 23, 2020
Well there was a time when arranged marriages was a norm - families do all the arrangements and the marriage is contracted. This still happens.

I see no difference between the above and a situation where a Pastor/Imam is the one doing the arrangement.

The failure of a marriage depends simply on the two people involved, NOT how it was contracted or who arranged it.

Everyone who is married today is married to someone who was once a total stranger to them until they both met through someone, something, or some situation.

There are some still married today who were directed towards their spouse by a Pastor/Imam and they're doing alright...not because of the Pastor/Imam, but because they made it work.

No nau...same way someone was arrested recently for insulting the president, sometimes, we like to stop and look them in the face and say "really!". That's all what this is about. Take that dasvas boy for instance...he's known to be begging a naija girl for alms upandan and in the same vain insulting same. Isn't it worth the " really!" ? Believe me, there are several like him.
So let me get this straight, because this Davash guy received 5k from ONE female, means that he should suddenly stop insulting (your words) ALL females?

Was it ALL females that gave him 5k?

Welcome to the 21st century grin

You can call the president of an entire country a cattle herder (in fact, all APC members are senseless), or you can call a president the Orange man (in fact, all Republicans are racists)...and this is all good because someone said so.

Well, this is an obvious lie.
Well it's true for me and a host of other men here.

I can't get offended when men are generally berated - called deadbeat, lazy, broke, scum, uncivilized, etc.
Not because I don't know there are men who fit these criteria, in fact there are... but because I'm not any one of those things. Why would I get offended when I'm not cursed with an over-estimated sense of my gender?
I'm not freedom-fighter MLK grin

Chai! There I was thinking I'm really special tongue tongue

Anyways, that's not the point of this thread, its about those who outrightly go out to attack women for the singular reason of being another ordinary human being. They just have to say something demeaning just because they are women. So its not about flattering, its about staying true to sef.

For instance, a woman saved up her money to buy her mother a car and her husband is ready to divorce her because he thought she should have bought him a car instead of her mother! The male folk on the thread were unsurprisingly in agreement and attacking everyone who thinks otherwise! Isn't that strange?
It's called opinions and choices.. etc..
That's what the internet offers.

You can't expect everyone to have the same views as yourself...whether they're staying true to themselves or not, doesn't stop them from saying what they want to say.

I don't know what woman will not be offended when women in general is being insulted, this is not about being guilty or not. Some insults and generalization here would make a woman offended whether or not she is guilty.

I don't know what is truth to you, calling all Nigerian women including their mothers hoes is truth to you ?
When someone calls Nigerian women hoes, he obviously is not including his mother and loved ones. Same way when someone calls Nigerian men scum and uncivilised, she is not including her father and loved ones.

It goes both ways...

The truth is that no one is a victim in the name-calling. Only hoes get offended when Nigerian women are called hoes, same way only scum and uncivilized men get offended when Nigerian men are called so.

The truth will always come off as a kind of anti-something to those who don't like it. FACT!

For example, I can tell sisisioge that she is the most beautiful lady I have ever met in my life...in fact, all African women are goddesses and she is their queen.

That opinion above makes me very pro-women...melanin popping shít. cool

Now alternatively, on a day when I'm feeling really honest and not trying in any way to make her like me or trying to get her in my bed, I could simply tell her the truth and admit that she's just there...another chic who looks okay and there's nothing special about her.
In fact, there's nothing special about any woman - just two legs, two arms, and a nyansh that deposits shít which stinks up the toilet on a very bad day.

The above is very true, but it's anti-women to any woman who does not like to hear/read this truth. grin

There are so many other examples, and one very common one is:

- Women should be respected because they bring new life into the world, they are the most important part of nature.
This is a very pro-woman opinion.

- Alternatively, someone with a more realistic view of the world will say, please there's nothing so special about giving birth or bringing forth new life. Dogs and Goats do the same thing and they don't get appreciated for it when the survival of animals is equally very important in nature.
Now this is very true, but considered anti-women.

I could go on and on with examples...

The ONLY reasons why anyone would feel insulted when their name is not mentioned specifically, is either because they know they're guilty of something OR they have an unusually high opinion of themselves which leads them to assume that their gender must be placed on a pedestal and never talked down on.
Both of these are a reflection of their own mental state, not a reflection of the person typing what he/she feels like in a free space.

Still doesn't negate the fact that most advocates of feminism suffer from severe psychosis and gross idiocy.

Is Barbara Love also a parody or is anyone here on NL more feminist than she is?

Nobody's is forcing you into marriage in the first place.

Afterall it's your gender that cry yourselves to sleep every night, embarking on intense fasting and prayer for husbands + joining Facebook groups to encourage each other in your singleness/loneliness grin

Then you start giving boyfriends ultimatum on when they must propose to you. Hahahhaha!

Na only for Nairaland una get liver. Desperados.

It's videos like this that makes one want to have babies as soon as possible. So cute and her sharp mouth is vibes.

Makes you wonder why some adults prefer being called baby though when an actual baby doesn't like it
Context.

I believe the context in which she was called baby is what triggered her reaction in the video.

Possibly, her father may have said something like "you're a baby, don't do/say that", or she asked for something and his response was "you're still a baby".

Calling her baby as a pet name, may not have evoked that same reaction.
