I had an undergraduate degree in food science technology.
The school dosent require GRE or GMAT.

Is the VO going to have a problem with my switch.?

Is the school a good rankinh school?

Will the VO have a problem.with me not writting the above exams.

My advice on this is that your dad should be your primary sponsor regardless of who else might wanna act as a co-sponsor. If you think your aunt wanna present her SOA as proof of financial statement, why not start chipping in the money gradually or initiate something. I don't wanna advice you in a way people might seem to be wrong but with your dad in the picture, I can give you a hint on building his account prior to your application. But my major advice is that you should use him as sponsor. I will hint you more if you consider it fine to pm me.

It happened to me early July.. I got medical mail..
a day after I did d medical.. I got a mail saying my processed passport was sent to VFS...

My head Jammed oo...
I kept wondering what went wrong that I will be rejected without medicals not even reaching CIC..

Until VFS called me on Tuesday.. That my passport was sent for my medicals.. I told dem I have done my medicals and I used photocopies for the medical.. So they said they were sending back my passport back.. I was glad bcuz I was to travel to Abuja the next day!

And I also know someone that they also sent his passport to him for medicals..

I pray that's the case for u..
Bcuz I see no reason ur application will still be opened after a dispatch..

N.B: my application is SOWP.. It's treated in their Lagos office..
So I don't know if they will send an application all the way from Ghana..

Just called vfs, Said my ppt is ready for pick up...I tracked it and saw it was dispatched yesterday...no mail nothing ....went online to track it, it's still showing not started in final decision...

Am just hoping that it's positive cause I did my mediclas and passed it.

Below are the addresses of the Canada visa office in Lagos, Abuja and Accra.

Ensure to state clearly the steps you've taken to get information regarding your application. Also inform them that all steps taken proved abortive as you didn't get any tangible/cogent response from CIC. Before you write this letter, make sure you have exhausted all means such as CSE, emailing Accra visa office and the regular processing time has been exceeded.

Don't forget to mention your program start date. Tell them you're running out of time.

Most importantly don't sound desperate biko.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, MYSELF I HAVE NOT TRIED IT BEFORE, ALTHOUGH MY FRIEND DID AND IT SEEM TO HAVE WORKED FOR HIM. THERE'S NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK BUH IT DOESN'T HURT TO TRY. I MEAN WHAT'S THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN?

So many many people e-mail them on a daily basis and that's why you get auto responder mails after you send them an email. So basically even your e-mails are queued up to be attended to. I doubt they receive as much letters compared to emails.

If you check CIC's Twitter handle, you'd notice that their services are below standard compared to other developed nations. Most tweets directed at their handle are just testimonies of their appalling services. They may have good economy and good educational system buh their embassy is just messed up. People even go as far as insulting CIC on Twitter. That's to show how terrible their immigration services are. If case enquiries won't work or emailing Accra immigration office won't work either then we should probably entertain the idea of writing a letter and forwarding same to both Lagos office and Accra visa office. If they received several mails (not emails) they'd probably act on them. Mails are usually treated with urgency compared to emails. Sending a letter is more cogent. A friend of mine wrote a letter to CIC last year asking CIC to furnish him with info regarding his application and within one week of dispatching the letter his application was updated and he was called for medicals. This could be coincidence buh it doesn't hurt to try for those people that have exhausted all means to get info regarding the status of their applications. If your application has exceeded the regular processing time and you've attempted CSE and yet no tangible response, then you should consider a letter. Also for those of una wey dey plan protest abeg make una chill small o.

For those planning on applying for PGC/PGD, this should be a lesson to y'all. Apply like 5months before your school resumes.

Depending on the kinds of masters you're going for.

Is it thesis or course work ?

If it is thesis.... I think most schools prefer you secure/contact a supervisor prior to your application for admission. Although even if you don't secure a supervisor or identify a supervisor that you want to work with....during the admissions committee meeting a supervisor will most likely be assigned to you. That's if they're interested in you anyway (for most schools/programs) while some would insist you secure a supervisor prior to applying.

For course based masters it is highly unlikely that you would be required to identify or secure a supervisor before applying.

In case you're curious; thesis master requires a serious and comprehensive research usually accompanied by a a long essay of an average of 100-120 pages depending on the school. Course base masters don't require essay it's more of taking several courses less research just like the undergrad degree the only thing is that you're more focused on a particular area or field rather than general area.

There's also a research paper masters.... It's an abridgment of thesis and course work masters. More courses and less essay buh you'd still have to write an essay usually between 50-80pages depending on the school and the program you're going for.

Hope I am able to shed more light on this subject.

Hello Otunba.I also got into Conestoga to study food quality assurance.I applied April 5th and did medicals April 18th.till now no news.
Emailed them last week said its in a queue pending processing.

I use God beg them to grant me that visa o and urs as well.
