Advocator:Let me use the word concubine; because I have no intentions of marrying a second wife. |
I wonder what’s the problem with Muslims; why they hate peace so much. |

Are you planning on tasting a girl’s pu-ssy? If I’m to answer your question, chocolate is far more delicious than a girl’s pu-ssy; so if you’re planning on sampling it, I would suggest that you have a rethink because you’re going to be disappointed by the taste you’ll get. |
Why that awful look? ![]() Don’t I deserve a smile from you? ![]() |
@Topic. I feel it's a welcome development made by the state governor; and the state would forever be greatful to him. |

As the presidential debate organised by the Network News 24 Television (NN24 TV) kicks off Friday, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it will not participate in the debate as the party was not properly invited.Foolish people; how properly do they want to be invited? The main reason PDP opted out of the presidential debate is that they have nothing to offer us; so in order to avoid unnecessary embarrassment from prospective and vision filled candidates during the debate, they decided to withdraw. |
The end is near; repent and give your life to Christ Jesus and be saved. |

Jobless man. His mates are out there working hard to fend for their family; he’s here rap.ing women and girls. If I’m to apprehend such a man, I won’t hand him over to the police; I would lynch him so that in his next life, he would think twice before committing such nefarious act. |
Women; after spending so much on them, they’ll give you reasons to conclude that they’re not different in any way from the girl on the street. Oh my God! |
And why would the so called informant wait for so long to spill the beans? Or was it that the bribe his former boss Ikedi Ohakim used to give him suddenly stopped coming so he felt that the only way to get their attention was through a black mail? Finally, I still find this story very difficult to believe because if the so called informant wants Nigerians to know the truth about the duo (Wazari and Ohakim) then he should send some pictures of them together during their 419days to the media and stop blabbing rubbish. |
Isn’t it the same Obasanjo that said “you can take a man out of the military, but you can ‘t take the military out of the man”. Obasanjo is simply showing Nigerians that he’s a “die hard military man” he’s no respecter of persons, and can deal with anyone regardless of how close they’ve been in the past. To me, I’ll liken him to a clown. |
Please tell me, is Jonathan ruling Nigeria to favour the Sultan or for the benefit of the masses? Isn’t this Sultan supposed to be sending condolence messages to Nigerians who lost their lives in Jos and other Northern states? What has Jonathan’s promises got to do with him? If I may ask, did he ask the late Yar’adua to sign any rubbish when he was elected into office? Why is it that when a non-Northern assumes the presidential seat their blood begins to boil until either they impeach him or make him a public enemy to the people. |

Seun:Seun, it’s no doubt that Nairaland is seen as an unserious forum. Why because you’ve allowed the rule breakers go unpunished and unchallenged. Look at the romance section for example; a newbie comes there with a problem he or she needs answers too urgently; and due to first time syndrome, the person isn’t able to express his/herself properly, but gets the message across, the whole replies from Nairaland members would be mockery all through. My dear Seun, if you’re in that newbie’s shoes, would you ever visit Nairaland or recommend it to anyone? Nairaland is six years, but how far has the forum gone in reaching out to people; I want to see a Nairaland where the likes of pat utomi would be the spear head of the politics section. The wole Soyinkas would pilot the education section to give constant words of wisdom to students. the Agatas and others would be the light of the romance and family section people can talk to them and get immediate response; this is when you can sit back and say that this forum is growing. I know you’re working hard Seun and I respect you for that, but you’re not doing enough; there are too many pests on nairaland that pollute your site with foolish, abusive, and meaningless response to a posters topic; and when a visitor begins to go through all those nonsense he’ll conclude that this forum isn’t the best place to get what he wants. And unless you do something Seun, Nairaland would continue to experience stunted growth. SEUN PLEASE CLEAN UP NAIRALAND! |
I strongly believe that one day the dream of Biafra which was put into motion by Gen. Ojukwu would become a reality whether the devil likes it or not. As for the Libyan rebels, I don’t really know the root of their struggle, but for them to choose a similar flag as ours, means that they’re feeling the same pain we felt in the 60s that led to the civil war; so I wish them success in their struggle. |
I strongly believe that Wole Soyinka is secretly campaigning for Jonathan. What other reason would make a man of his caliber come out to the media to rule out a prospective candidate? If I’m to ask our prof, what did Jonathan achieve when he was governor of Balysea State? Apart from sending members of MEND abroad, spending our millions on building rehabilitation camps for them and crediting millions into the accounts of their former leaders, what has he achieved in his few months in office as president of the country. I would suggest that Soyinka should refrain from his abrasive nature towards Gen. Buhari, because his candidate Jonathan isn’t the saint Nigerians praying for. |
udezue:Haba must you insult his personality? ![]() |
Nothing my dear just that your story looks like one of those nollywood scripts. No offence. ![]() |
GenBuhari:Tell them my dear, tell them. We have the highest number of peacekeeping troops, but we’re not at peace with each other. Can a blind man lead a blind man? The answer is no; so what I think is that the government should focus more on providing peace and security to the masses rather than wasting the lives of our military men on other nations in the name of peace keeping. |
@Topic. Action they say speaks louder than voice. If Jonathan wants to give us power, must he publish it in the papers? Doesn’t he know that by doing such shows clearly that he has nothing to offer; that he’s just after his political interest (the presidential seat). Power is something a good government tackles secretly and allows people commend them for a job well done; not going to the media and giving journalists unnecessary and irrelevant stories to write and publish. |
karl max:The problem we have with this our present democracy, is that our leaders are more concerned with enriching themselves rather than solving the problems of the country. We’re privileged not to have natural disasters which most countries experience from time to time like earthquake, tsunami, hurricane and many more. Our problem in this country is man made i.e. problems that can be solved if we come together as one to fight out corruption. Look at the issue of power; I still remember in the late 90s when one can boast of constant power for 2-3weeks. Now, power has become a rare commodity; it comes once or twice a week, and the painful aspect is that we’re required to pay more than double of the price we used to pay those days when the sector was still managed by human beings. What about roads, an easterner travelling from Lagos to his/her village during festive season spends approximately two days on the road for a journey that shouldn’t take more than 6-8 hours. The roads we have in the country are so bad and dangerous that thieves operate freely for hours without any confrontation from security operatives; this leaves a prospective traveler with no choice than to engage himself in serious prayers until he arrives safely at his destination. Isn’t that horrible? Whereas, our leaders are busy buying off all the policemen that are meant to protect the masses for their own protection, leaving the masses helpless and unprotected. Finally, if someone is concerned in serving the people as they claim, what would make him spend millions of money on importing weapons and hiring thugs to kill the same people he claims to serve and impose himself on them; shouldn't he think of spending it on this same people he claims to serve as a sign of commitment? |
