Martins isn’t a player you can put your money on note that.

I know Martins isn’t a first team striker. But we just need him for a standby. Rooney is injured and Ferguson himself has confessed that Tevez is rusty due to non participation in the pre-season. So Martins would be our only solution at a time like this.

I know it might sound ridiculous but believe me, that’s the only option we’ve got for now. Once Rooney is back, we would keep him back on the bench where he’s supposed to be.
