Although I am new in these stock market thing but I have reasons to count my blessings and bite my fingers too: Best Stocks: Afroil @ 0.42 (sold yesterday), Capoil @ 0.33 , Afprint @ 1.02, Lasaco @ 1.80, Dangote @ 18. Worst stocks: TRANSCORP (Invested too much) Dunlop, NB @ 35 (still hoping for the best) So far so good I've not done too bad sha!!! But I guess you can understand why I am in support of secondary market and penny stocks |
This joke is not only funny but it's morally good. Keep it up! |
nedujizzy:Na wah o! So it took your girlfriend 24hours to get the right answer for your misdeed I'll say dump her immediately!!! ![]() |
@ Easimoni I think Public Offers are a bad idea to invest in. By the time the average investor gets his/her certificate, other opportunities in the market would have overtaken you. I have never, ever bought a public offer and I never will. Not even a Dangote offer. People always point to Dangote Sugar. While the Dangote IPO was out, I invested my money in Japaul instead. I sold my 90kobo investment for N3 and re-invested in Wema which has since climbed 50%. I'm up 350% while Dangote owners are getting 100% (assuming you've even seen your certificate). Say no to Public Offers unless your are "long-term". And ask yourself why you should think long-term in this market. Men! You are the bomb! I can't just understand why I will go give my hard earn money to someone who will keep it for more than 6months and at the end of the day he will gives me peanuts when I can gets more than 50-200% somewhere else in a shorter time. I join the slogan "No to Public Offers, Yes to secondary market" |
I noticed for the first time (this year) that Afroil dropped, I guess it's high time to check out? I bought it for 0.42 and it's some shade off #9 (about 2000%) abi wetin una say ![]() |

@ lakeside4love Who knows, Mark might just impeach the dull president n become president himself Am just saying ooo Gbam! I agree with you on this, David Mark may be Abacha (in the making) just what happened after the exit of IBB when in no time he (Abacha) sacked Shonekan and made himself president or head of state (call it what you like) All lovers of Nigeria should pray to God to save our dear country from this people o. |
@ EASIMONI and FRANK Hi guys, I will like to have your takes on this stocks. Afprint I bought it when it was 0.88kobo and as of today it's #3.60 and Afroil was bought for 0.44 kobo and as of today it's #8.35. My question now is do I sell or hold these stock? I'll surely appreciate a very honest and good advise. |
@aylala2002 I really enjoy your thread and all the informations you shared with us,. I need your professional advise on this; I bought thousands of Afroil shares sometimes back when it was 0.42 kobo now its almost 7 naira a share I am tempted to sell but my sixth sense says I should wait. So what is your advise ![]() |

I am about to set up an importing company (in Holland) to import cassava (flake, starch etc) from Nigeria, but the guy I discussed with in Nigeria turns out to be more concern about me getting him visa to come to Europe than the business it self. It's as if am stranded now because my Europeans contacts are ready but I have no agent to deal with in Nigeria. I am looking for a reliable company or agent in Nigeria that I can work with. So if you know of an agent looking for (Naija) European partner just mail me at |
Hi guys I am new here and this is my first post, I really enjoy reading all the posts especially on this topic. I am just curious why much are not said about penny stocks. For example I bought Afroil at 0.42 Kobo last February and it has appreciated more than 400% in less than 2 months, to me that is good investment compared to Dangote that has not appreciated up to 200%. What’s your take on my statement ![]() |
