Romance › Re: Guys, Can You Marry A Girl You Got Pregnant,if Not WHY? by Creamish(f): 12:15pm On Apr 06, 2016
Surfboard:
Op, accepting paternity can be termed as 'taking responsibility'. For the marriage part, you can't blame those who don't want to marry whoever they get pregnant because the circumstances leading up to intercourse may be different(it may have been a one night stand consented to by both parties, among other possibilities). If they were however dating, I think it's only proper they get married. If not, why were they seeing each other in the first place?

However, if I get a girl pregnant now, I'd marry her. We can't even get to the level of having sex if we don't have some sort of closeness and to attain such closeness, means there are some things about her I'd like.
A thousand LIKES.

My friend had that ish too... Now she has an adorable daughter. Bros is near MIA. undecided

Irresponsibility amongst some men seems to be the order of the day. Don't start what you cannot finish. I give kudos to the ladies who decided against aborting the pregnancies of these irresponsible men. It's a tough but wise decision which def serves as a learning point for them.

Sweetie, you have a point, but let us assume that this lady wants to do biz with a neutral guy, is she not still gonna be exposed to the same cons as her ex boyfriend too.

They would go for meetings, it might stretch far into the night.
They might travel together...etc.
Before I can allow my spouse to do biz with my ex....I have to ponder on these questions..

* How much do I trust him?
* How often will they meet & where?
* Am I going to be cool with their phone conversations?
* Is he easily swayed?
* Is this business worth the worry?
* What is the gestation period of this business?

Frankly, it wont be easy to watch them do business together cos my man is only human. The fact that they have a history together makes it harder. It's much easier to work with someone who u'v got no history with (chances of cheating is minimal). Everything still boils down to TRUST.

My honest thought... I'd rather they don't do biz together.

BTW.. Lalasticlala ..this is FP worthy. Room for more opinions. wink

Family › Re: No Male Child Yet, I Feel Suicidal Sometimes by Creamish(f): 3:13pm On Apr 04, 2016
Curiouscity:
I agree that Billing method will help them increase the chances of having a male child. But getting a male or female child is solely a man's fault. He carries the X chromosomes.

When we tried to conceived, I never left anything to chances, I made sure my wife followed the Billing's method to the letter. But why did I care? Because of our silly culture of placing male children above female. I believe both should be given equality especially during inheritance procedures.

I think both male and female should have right of inheritance to the parents properties. If this is done, less pressure to get male children.
True...but unfortunately, until society rights this wrong, women are left to bear the curse of having female children only. This may be the reason why the woman concerned feels suicidal.

Her hubby does not want more than 2 kids. Is he content with the girls? @OP.. If he is, then the woman is just getting herself worried over nothing really.. undecided

delishpot:
We planned our kids to be a boy and a girl and we got exactly what we wanted. For people who desire boys or girls, this is how we did it
When tbe month you guys want to get pregnant comes, start having sex exactly 2 weeks after her period for those whose menstrual cycle are like clockwork. Ie if her period stopped on the 9th of April you start having sex from 23rd April. For those whose cycle are not regular, monitor your ovulation do it as soon as you see the sign of ovulation(egg white) your hubby too should hold body for at least 1 week before the planned day cool
But best is to follow your ovulation. The chances of making a boy is greater when the egg is just released. Cos, boy sperms travel faster but die earlier than girl, sperms. So if the egg is not yet released during the time of intercourse, the boy sperms may die off while the girl sperm survives to fertilize the egg as soon as it is released. Na so science explain am o
Exactly. She needs to read the Billings Method. I hope she understands her body well. Getting female kids is not solely her fault so she needs to cheer up.

Lass, stop warming up to the geriatric Mister.nas89 in your hopes of making him your 13th sugar daddy. He's so old he needs to place his _phallus on a walking stick to urinate. There's no way you'd benefit from his fictional sprawling wealth. He has grandchildren double your age.

at least you admit indirectly that's its wrong.. Fortunately, just like you said, irrespective of bad grammar God understands our thought and what we really mean.
But my dear, it doesn't hurt to learn. we learn everyday. I make mistakes and I'm glad to take corrections.
Or how dyu wanna become a better person than you were before?
Babe... If we were in an English class, I'll take every single word I type seriously.

Seeing that we're not, and we tend to mix proper grammar with slangs ..I don't see how Mimzy's post is such a big deal. One of her lecturers made an error in his bid to correct her and prove superiority ...which erm kinda makes him look stupid if u ask me...

On NL...typos happen, auto correct changes some things. Stay focused on the topic and pass ur message.

It can't be that hard now can it?

you just munched a page without learning from it.
You said she should be found 'in piece'. That could mean anything, it could be half or whole.
BTW it even sounds more like a bad prayer when you don't specify what kinda piece u mean.. cos that what I thought.
If your gonna say that next time, you say she should be found 'in one piece' like you googled up from what I see in the pic.
But that's not what you wrote earlier except you wanna go modify your post silently..
Its a good thing God (who Mimzy's prayer was directed to) is neither u nor the other lecturers. Say ur own prayer and leave d grammar for God. Modifying her post does not add superior quality to the prayer. Why not face what's important here..d missing child?

Sheesh!
