VOsimhen144: Go to a nearby store and buy the following:
1 cup of Grocery - N250 Floating berries - N200 Sweetener - N50 ———- N500 ———
The above would last you for 3 days if soaked wisely. Then use the remaining N500 to knack olosho for obalende under bridge. 😀😀😀😀 |

geesilver: I use my money to buy goods for a female friend I barely know out of pity to help her stand on her own. After selling them all, she refused to pay me back and later deny knowing me each time I call her on phone, then the next thing she did was to block me totally. I regret helping her..... She is callous and heartless. Now she has blocked the channel of help from you to another person. |

verybadmouth: I'm a farmer bro. What will make you rich as a farmer, is when the demand for a particular farm produce is high and it's availability does not match the demand. With the price of other goods and services remaining stable and not increasing. Looking at the current scenario, the increase in prices cuts across all sectors. If you sell your farm produce at a high cost, you will also buy other goods and services at a high cost. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Hits 22.79% As Food Prices Rise by Cti28(m): 2:10pm On Jul 17, 2023 |
verybadmouth: The upward trend in food prices is not entirely negative, as it will eventually lead to increased wealth for farmers. However, the true concern lies in the unfavorable economic conditions where individuals experience reduced earnings or complete financial deprivation. Re-read what you wrote, re-read it again then look at yourself in the mirror. |

In Nigeria there is no middle class. We only have the rich and poor.
Leaving in Lagos port Harcourt or Abuja does not make one a middle class. Living |

Lagos that 40% is still untouched bushes? Before going argue use Google Earth don't come and disgrace yourself here
95% of Lagos population live at the center... East is bush, West is bush
Nigeria population is maximum 100 million You are right, our population is over bloated . All the villages in Nigeria are almost empty. Large population can only be found in urban centers. |

Romance › Re: I Thought Church Marriage Is The Cheapest Marriage by Cti28(m): 11:04pm On Jul 10, 2023 |
westlius: This weekend I had to go see my wife to be church that I would love to get married in there church, I went with a bottle of Drink (my mother inlaw told me to go with it). When I met the pastor omo the requirements pass bride price 1) He said we must get him a wine and an envelope. (Wine 2k cash 5k)
2) We would go see his head pastor with a Wine and envelope (Wine 2k, Cash 10k, transportation 5k)
3)I will pay for the marriage certificate he has forgotten the cost (My estimate 10k).
4) I will pay transportation for someone to go to Benin Edo state to get the certificate and register. (Estimate 30k from Porthacourt)
5) 5 men of God will come with there wives i will cook for them, I will give his wife money to cook ( I heard its 50k)
6) I will inform the church people i want to marry i will bring a cartoon of malt and 2 carbin biscuits (6k estimate)
7)I will give the pastors transportation and thanks for coming (Head pastor 20k/second in command 2 persons 10k each (20k)/ the last 2 Persons 5k each thats (10k) total 50k for thanks for coming. Pls who knows the procedure for church weddings. Thanks.
File Photo Used for illustration I have no advice to give you, please pay up all that you were billed. When they tell you guys to study your Bibles, you won't. Through out the Bible, the Church never for once conducted any wedding - wedding was exclusively arranged by each family. The institutionalized Church system, which is an aberration of what the true Church is, has invented so much extraneous rules and doctrines which have no Biblical root, which it uses to manipulate and cage it's members. These men will become jobless the moment Christians begin to study the Bible for themselves. |

thesilentman: My father told me that when he was a shop-keeper in Jos in the 70s,they used to have the credit and the cash department. You could walk into many stores at any given time and buy things on credit and the shop-keepers would sell to you with the same enthusiasm as with cash buyers. Nigerians don't take credit purchases on a friendly note. Most shops have signs that says "No credit today, come tomorrow!".Whereas credit is normal thing elsewhere. This issue is even particular to yoruba people who says that they have not had their first sale and it's rather too early in the morning. Is it our economy system? PS: I don't buy things on credit o.Just my observation. The Nigerians of then are different from Nigerians of now. One of the surest way to kill your business, or for it to remain stagnant in Nigeria today, is to sell things on credit. |

nairalanda1: Sadly we don't.
Even before we bring in corruption, the amount of money available for education in Nigeria is very very low.
Universities here don't get enough money for all their needs. If they did, ASUU won't be going on strike repeatedly Yes I agree, the money available for Nigerian Universities is low. Nevertheless, Nigeria is rich. We are blessed beyond measure in terms of Natural resources. But you see corruption eating ip everything. Another is wastefulness. |

nairalanda1: Are you aware that Germans pay for free education with tax rates at 45-50% of income?
Also, Germany's tax to gdp is 39%...ours just manages to reach 10%
German GDP is 4.26 trillion dollars, compared to our 442 billion dollars(not up to a trillion even)
German population is..83.2 million compared to our 220 million people.
Yeah, and you expect us to get free education? LOL.
Germany has the money to pay for free education. We don't, plus the APC looterocrats make matters worse. Bro we have the money. But our greatest undoing is corruption and lack of patriotism. |

I had a stress free service year ( I was basically on a year vacation ). Cost of living which was very low. Out of the #19800 monthly stipend, I saved close to 12000 per month.
The people there were to some extent hospitable. Social life, is non-existent. Which made most corp's member to flee the same the of their POP. |

Abuja no dey like before again! Instead of progress, even if it is at a snail's speed would have been better. But they took is backward with the speed of light. Offpoint1: Thread for those who cook.
I don't cook, if you don't have POS and still don't accept transfer, first thing I'd say to you is "You're not serious with your life" then walk away.
I'm never going to use POS agents ever again, they can all go to hell. And for vendors that let greed take over them, I'm never patronizing them forever. Charging N100 for N200 purchase is an act of criminality.
One thing I learned is "hausa are the most honest people without greed in Nigeria" and the 2nd thing I learned is "Nigerians are opportunist and greedy people" All my previous customers that were adding charges, for what I don't know, I have abandoned them forever. |
