@flash, I am online now so u wont claim u hardly see me. I dnt see u too, u seem too active on here these days. Uve been absent on ym.

Dear Diary,

I am happy for the will power to say NO. It was hard but I used the word NO today. I am also happy for tolerance & ability to manage situations. Life is so good when you have control over your emotions even when people try to link/frame you up to/with someone you have not spoken to in a long time or you have been weary of ever since he mentioned his association with people. I am also happy that I am close to sealing up my goals, Praise Jesus. Its a new year, people should let go of bad incidents of 2011, nothing wrong with second chances, redemption, forgiveness and a good change.

Virginity has been a consistent trend to be discussed since I entered this forum. Up till now, I am yet to witness a bold virgin that would display its electronic virginity test here. Talk is cheap, its so easy to discuss these virginity topics but no proof even if its a picture of a sealed babe with a hymen so I can see it first hand the much talked about maidens arrogantly discussed on here.

Rubbish like its a ticket to heaven or a means to an end. Like there is no back door to drill or orals to partake in. Abeg make I hear word, na today. Hiss
RomanceRe: Seriously What Is The Big Deal About Valentine's Day by Cuddlemii:
Valentine's day is a big deal and also not a big deal depending on individuality and what works for you, me and them.

Some couples celebrate vals everyday of their lives. Some are too busy that they can only make out a day to express their love for each other.

Some even celebrate it everyday subconsciously that they don't know it. That simple I love you told to a lover any time you wake beside them makes is a valentine day as its special & spontaneous.

That assistance you render to your lover in times of need is Valentine. That shoulder your partner cries on and gets refuge & comfort from is valentine. That love making that made you climax, got your heart beating and you smiling everyday is valentine to the fullest.

That "thank you for a good meal, thank you for the love, thank you for the tie, thank you for being there", are all valentine compliant. Those gifts you took time, effort and resources to get no matter how little or minor it is, is part of valentine because it wasn't planned, it didn't have to wait for Feb 14 to be given out but it was given out of love, not compelled or forced but genuinely from the heart.

Every memorable moment spent with your loved ones is valentine. That your loved one slept and woke up the next day is enough to be thankful and appreciative without waiting for valentine's day. That you even have a lover or partner is enough to be thankful because some wish they had or can't even keep the one they have.

That being said, there is also nothing wrong in officiating all that mixed feelings, emotions, kind gestures and happiness on one day, its just for fun and a way to officially express what you do everyday. Its not compulsory though its just mere formality.

Dear diary,

Hmm interesting day. We are studying network security in class and my instructor says there is a lot of money in Nigeria that did I bring some along. Nigeria is so dubious or notorious that it was included extensively in the curriculum, text books and other course materials. It shows that no country beats Nigeria to it in cyber crime. Even the cyber crimes in other countries has to be carried out by a Nigerian or a Nigerian has to be part of it or its not a lucrative crime worth doing. I love the diversity of Naija, we rock in all ways cool. I'm feeling like a don dadda wink cheesy

RomanceRe: Can You Tell Your Partner (married Or Single) How Much You Earn? by Cuddlemii: 6:47pm On Jan 30, 2012
^ I agree with u on that. I am sorry but naija men scare the crap out of me. Its even a very stupid thing for any lady to tell her boyfriend how much she earns. Anytime a lady does that I see her as insecure, trying to show off or trying to buy the guy. Somethings are best kept in your heart. The most stupid women are the ones that change their properties and assets to their hubby or bf's name. I had a friend in school back then that was the only one that knew all her mom's possessions, landed properties and assets. Her dad never knew anything about his wife's acquisition, which was wise as her Dad married another woman & my friend, her bro, sis and mom lived on their mom since then.

For instance, if I was about to purchase something expensive at a store or restaurant or something & a guy I know or a guy that is toasting me or am dating walks in, I will quickly change it to ordinary water or something very cheap and leave or wait for him to leave before I purchase what I initially wanted to purchase. Hahahaha I am sorry but I am so skeptical when it comes to naija men cos I feel they use everything to their advantage. I could tell my hubby a round figure or something close to what I earn but not exactly because its never a bad thing to play safe sometimes. Men also don't tell exactly what they earn to their wives or girlfriend so that they can spend on their other girlfriends or so that their wives/gf do not constantly nag them when they want some certain things they are reluctant to provide. Its just a man's way of curbing extravagance and buoyant expenditure that most ladies are fond of.
RomanceRe: Her 2 Weeks Fling Has Conceived A Baby. Should She Abort It Or Tell The Father? by Cuddlemii(op): 11:47pm On Jan 29, 2012
Tomato didn't come to church today. I just hope she hasn't done anything stupid. The truth is that I know her decision could be anything and I don't want to be involved in anything that would affect my own future. I don't want to be an accomplice or accessory to anything.

I will read the comments here for a while and I am sure by tomorrow I will know what to tell her. But if she has already done anything, should I remain friends with her? stand by her? Or cut off all association with her? Realistically, I hope she is no longer in a bad situation when I face her tomorrow so I don't need to be part of her decision which could be anything.

But what if I was in her shoes, what would I have done? Abort, be a single mother or tell the father? Lets try putting ourselves in that position, what would you have done? Its very easy to advise human beings to act a certain way but if you were the victim, what would you have done?

Btw thank you all(life savers) for the comments.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: How Did Your Day Go? by Cuddlemii: 11:29pm On Jan 29, 2012
Dear Diary,

The pastor preached end time today in church. I went out to give my life. We were just 4 of us in the whole church that stepped out, I felt so embarrassed like we were the fornicators, witches, gang members etc of the church. One of the member that stepped out had a bruised hand with bandages, they might think we all escaped a shoot out or something.

So does that mean everyone that sat on their sit are making heaven or they don't commit sin? The reason I am asking is because I recognize some of them well for their atrocities. Nigerians are so annoying with their self righteousness and criticism. Not like I am a bad girl O, its just that I wanted to rededicate my life to God and I was being real.

Something similar happened at a fellowship back in school. I raised my hand that I hadn't started speaking tongues. Surprisingly I was the only one that couldn't speak in tongues in school even though some of those chicks were never in church, some usually sat down and gossip in church and they all claimed to be speaking the spirit which was never evident. As usual, I looked like the odd one out and paid for my oversabi as pastor yinka of Christ embassy slapped my chest continuously so I could speak in tongue. Through out that semester I didn't rest due to slaps and forceful pushing so as to receive it but sadly, I didn't receive the ability to speak in tongues. From now on its deception in the household of God, no more sincerity since we all wanna play the saint card then so be it. Bunch of hypocrites looking at me like I killed their loved ones. Rubbish, even when pastor was praying for us in church today, the members of the congregation were bothered about the criminals that came out. Abnormal people. I am so angry.

RomanceHer 2 Weeks Fling Has Conceived A Baby. Should She Abort It Or Tell The Father? by Cuddlemii(op): 9:55pm On Jan 28, 2012
For the sake of privacy, I will give my friend the name Tomato for this thread.

Tomato met Onions on Facebook and they got very close and fond of each other. Tomato and Onions live in separate countries. They are matured, comfortable and pretty much happy people.

Onions processed all her traveling documents and she got a visiting visa to the UK. She was meant to spend a week with him but I think they enjoyed each other so much that she ended up spending 2 weeks there. She was in her safe period or so she thought when she made the trip. They had regular sex without protection probably because of trust & likeness or it’s very likely they used protection the first day but decided to throw caution to the wind after they were used to each other or must have conducted a test or something; I mean blood test is quite cheap and fast. Its also likely she used expired contraceptives (sorry for all these assumptions, I am just trying to figure out how a baby found its way in there).

Anyways she told me she enjoyed her trip, the guy took very good care of her, he shopped for clothes for her, he took her places and she met most of his friends. She said she didn’t want to leave because she was having the best time of her life (the evidence was there when she returned).

Sadly, the vacation came to a halt after 2 weeks. He saw her off to the airport and waited till she boarded her flight. He slipped money in an envelope into her hands but she gave it back to him because he meant more than that to her(I felt it was a test to see the kind of lady she was or something, only God knows).

She has been back to her base for 2 months now. She was falling ill and couldn’t do her normal activities so she was rushed to the clinic. The test result shows she is 2 months pregnant. Onions and she didn’t define their relationship; it was more of a fling.

Abortion is legalized here and very safe. Should she remove the baby? Should she tell Onions? Should she let him decide the next move? She doesn’t want to seem like she is tying him down as she is an independent lady. Remember she told him she was in her safe period, won’t he think the baby is not his and how does she explain finding out 2 months after? I mean didn’t she not noticed she had missed her period except of course the theory that you can be pregnant while menstruating is true.

They talk regularly, I think he is meant to come and visit her during summer. But he has not expressed his intentions towards her, though he acts the boyfriend role but what if he doesn’t want commitments. She was just enjoying the role he was playing pending when she meets her future hubby or Onions becomes her future hubby naturally or mutually without force or circumstances beyond their control. She was comfortable with what they had, she never acted like she wanted more because when we (her girlfriends) queried her, she would just reply that what they have is better than being single and things would sort itself out,

I was at her place yesterday and couldn’t come up with any solid advice for her. The doctors said she can do an abortion now at the early stage. So what should she do? If I was the one I will tell him O, the guy is fine, comfortable, classy, intelligent and not married. But she is from a polygamous home with a lot of nasty experiences so she doesn’t want any shortcuts that would ruin her in future. What should she do? Or is it possible she got pregnant on purpose? I don't still get how a lady wont know she is months gone. What if the guy denies the baby?

(PLEASE NO INSULTS, LETS ADDRESS IT MATURELY. I HAD TO GATHER ENOUGH LIVER TO POST THIS TOPIC BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO ADVICE WRONGLY & ABORTION IS A SERIOUS SIN BUT huh?, BEFORE GOD & MAN, THE STORY IS REAL).

I am half Calabar- Adiabo Ibonda and half Akwa Ibom- Ikot Akpa-Edok (both parents & that's all I know). I speak both Calabar & Akwa-Ibom very well but I don't know how to write it (although I can try by following the pronunciation)

The cuzin thingy was a joke on chat room back then. Just like you guys were assuming I was Dyt or so.

I dnt know if u missed the calabar food is over rated thread where I addressed the topic extensively & argued in favor of Calabars. Several times here I have talked about Calabar gracefully or being from there. I didn't polish Calabars on this thread because I am from there already I might as well be loyal to another tribe, that's unity(no need for division). If I had hyped it, I will also be criticized for bragging about it or discriminating.

I will increase my loyalty level next time, apologies to Calabars.
RomanceRe: All Relationships Have Secrets? by Cuddlemii: 5:38pm On Jan 25, 2012
apocalypse:
I agree with some but not all you've written , if you set out in all your relationships to be faithful the burden of trying to cleverly or stylishly hide certain things about you wouldn't come to be. I agree with sexkillz that revealing oneself to your significant other happens in stages which is proportional to the trust gained , of course I wouldn't divulge everything about me if I'm not totally comfortable with you and so barricades are set to mark progress in the relationship. This can't be termed keeping secrets but being totally sure of the person you are involved with before committing such info
Ok I understand your point. But my statements are usually not what everyone does but setting examples of what some people do so you can know that there are different people in the society with diverse xters & mindsets. I am just trying to explain that there are some people who divulge a fraction of their secret and not all. Not everyone no matter the level of trust, love or commitment would tell you everything. Some people are so good at bottling things up that they die with their secret.
RomanceRe: All Relationships Have Secrets? by Cuddlemii: 3:50pm On Jan 25, 2012
@op, you are right. Even as individuals without involving a relationship or being in a relationship,we all keep secrets at one point in time so as not to get judged, criticized, taken advantage of, be vulnerable or let people use it against us either through blackmail or aggression.

The trick is this, most couples or partners find one grievous or convincing secret to tell each other so as to get the trust of their partner but deep down its not everything that was told. For example, a former runs babe who aborted and was fought by her married man-friend's wife can decide to tell her bf that she was once a bad girl that grooved and made mistakes because her childhood was rough. That would quickly get the sympathy & trust of the bf that she is very open & sincere to him. But was she? Critically she wasn't, she only built his trust but she didn't mention the abortion, involvement with a married man and the fight with the married man's wife. So anytime anyone mistakenly gives account of her past deeds to her bf, he would overlook it as she has won his trust even if she cleverly didn't tell him everything but how would he know? Its a secret cleverly told with hidden elements. So people tell a fraction of secret so as to get into their partners psyche, build trust, impress them that they are genuine and prepare them for future gist that might spring up and destroy the relationship. Its part of the psychologies of game playing, mind playing and relationships. Some people can assume any role and act it convincingly but deep down their secrets rest within.

But no one would come out and tell you all the decadence in their past or present life except in rare cases with peculiar people that either have big mouth, no control of what they utter or they can't keep secrets or they are not good liars or they are also dealing with a partner who has a can of secrets too but told them most of it.

RomanceRe: Edo Men And Calabar Men Are Underrated! by Cuddlemii: 11:56am On Jan 25, 2012
3 tribes that I love their men: Yoruba, Delta, Edo men.

Because:
Good looks - check
Good swag - check
Intelligence - check
Dress Sense - check
Confidence & Intimidating Aura - check
Class - check
Versatile & Diversified - check ( they can even adapt anywhere and can choose to be classy, crazy or decent)
Good accent & diction - check (you don't need to identify a guy's tribe from the way he speaks or pronounces stuffs. A real man should speak well regardless of his status, age, class or level of education)

I can still manage those clean malo boys.

Benue men are good looking and sharp. Most of them don't age fast. They have good genes.

Igbo men are husband materials and the nicest men in Nigeria.

Calabar men are under rated because they form part of the minority group of men in the country. Not much celebs from there, Not much educated peeps, when I was in school we Calabars could count ourselves because we were few. But most of the ones who dare to be different fall into the category above. I don't want to sound like I am hyping my tribe so I will leave out Calabar.
