SLOVFO: Barley is grown in Nigeria. But I don't think we have it in commercial quantity here. NB PlC and other breweries import barley massively into Nigeria. So I don't think that's in the import prohibition list. Thank you for the info. I spoke with someone last week, and he told me Barley is banned. I was like, how? Do you know which state I can get a qood quantity? Say 100kg? |

Hello everyone. Please I need help with some information about barley.
1. Is importation of barley banned in Nigeria? 2. Does Nigeria grow barley in a commercial quantity? 3. If barley grows in Nigeria, which state can I source it from in a cost-effective manner?
Thank you for your response. |

Richy4: @ Bold, I have lived long enough to know and understand that things were not always the way it seems...Yea it might seems suspicious at the moment but the husband will be in a better position to find out what she was indeed hiding... it might even be something that got nothing to do with cheating.. Many people define cheating as when married man or woman has sex with someone who is not his/her spouse only. I think it is more than the physical sex. Any level of intimacy with opposite sex, that your spouse is not supposed to know is cheating. The deleting of the messages shows she is cheating, emotionally or sexually. In fact, some people believe that emotional cheating is worse than sexual cheating. |

They are considered as low-glycemic foods that do not cause an instant spike in blood sugar levels, further helping maintain weight efficiently. Please don't advertise this as a LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX product. It can be misleading, especially for people trying to stabilize their blood sugar. |

Of all the numerous men answering "Pastors", "Evangelists", "Bishops", etc, less than 10% are there to do the will of God. The rest are there for their selfish interests, including sleeping with a harem of women and girls.
Sadly, 90% of Christians help them to achieve their aims. They are regarded as untouchable and immune to accountability. It will get worse! |

ednut1: like i said only few people do this. Be like guilty conscience dey worry you lol. Have you beat madam before in Nigeria Have you treated her with disdain have you prevented her growth career wise . My own uncle wey sponsored his wife to uk for masters was deported 2 years after he came to join her. For 10 years he has not seen his kids. The wife got free house from government and other benefits. He bleeped up tho because he beat his wife. When you paint this type of picture, it gives a false generalization that any man whose wife has driven him away from home is guilty of domestic violence, or cheated or refused to help in house chores. There abound many who are not in above category, but are treated worse. True, many marriages of Nigerians are doing well in the Western world, but some greedy Nigerian women are taking advantage of the system to show the bad side. Not as a response to bad treatment, but out of greed and sheer wickedness. A Warri guy got married to a Warri babe. They guy supported the babe to finish her PhD, while he developed a bakery business. The lady joined him in the business after her PhD. As they were expanding, the lady demanded that the guy give her the recipe, so he can share with her family back home. The guy refused. Trouble started. As I type, she has taken the bakery and ejected the guy. Bar the guy from seeing the 2 kids they have together. The guy left empty handed. But she is busy telling people that the guy left her. I have other sad examples of sheer greed and wickedness. Not in all cases is it always the man's fault. |

Finally, what are you still doing with the guy, calling him a friend? There are google hangout, zoom, and other less popular messaging platforms. Unfortunately, this thread is not about my woes. Just wanted to let the guy know that, as good as his advice is, some women can still overlook and cheat. I referred to the guy as a friend just to show how close he was to me. After the confrontation, all elements of friendship flew out of the window. |

truthCoder: hnmmm.
first, stop reading blogs that define relationships.
lets go practical. I speak the truth and it might hurt.
your wife and you got married not because you are best of friends but because you both seem to meet certain societal requirements you both set for yourselves. You wanted a virgin and a church girl from a good home. She wants a good man with a good job who will love her.
This is where the problem starts. You and your wife might be married but you are not friends. She needs someone to be free with and currently you are not..the pastor is.
Here is what you should do.
First ball is you. Are you the kind of guy that is not easily approachable by the wife on petty things? If you are, you need to change. She must have access to you on everything. If she thinks about ABC, she must be able to gist about it with you. Be more open. As regards sex, she is a learner...teach her...Sex is not just the penetration. Learn about taking it sloowwwww....For the next few days, make love without penetrating her. make her relaxed, give her a good massage, help her clean her ear, arrange her hair, help her try on different clothes, just lie on the bed and gist, kiss and cuddle, give her head, cut her toenails, do everything that involves touching but no penetration. This will loosen her more.
Take the pastor's phone number. Call him and tell him you are XYZ's husband. Don't allow him to 'pastorize' you. Tell him you have seen the chats and you are disappointed. Tell him he should never contact your wife again or he is going to see hell on earth. Tell him you will come into the church during service to embarrass him if he doesn't stop contacting your wife. Tell him you will report him to Winners Headquarters in Ota and via social media then hang up the call.
Next ball park is your wife. Sit her down and have this conversation with her. Tel her the most important relationship she has is the one with you. Every other one is secondary. Tell her you would love her more if she can make you her friend. If she has any thing to discuss, She should be free to do so with you. Show her love. Show her that she matters. Gist with her.
You will win her back In theory, your suggestions would work. But, I have done all these from the onset of my marriage, yet wifie still had emotional affairs with my friend. I am even convinced that they had sex before I married her. When I saw their convo, I confronted both of them. They played the victim card. Now they have changed the mode and platform of communication. I fear anyone who doesn't fear women! |

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend's Past Disgusts Me by Curiouscity(m): 7:31pm On Apr 29, 2021 |
Lifeisnotfair: I hope everyone is having a good day. Here's my story and I'd try to be brief as much as I can.
About four months ago I met this white girl on Instagram and since then we've been talking day in day out. I'm surprised af how quick we both connected in a very short time and to be honest I can tell that she's crazy about me and I'm as well. As a matter of fact she broke up with her ex boyfriend so she could focus on our relationship because according to her she hasn't met someone as sweet as me and I was actually cool with it since no girl has shown me such love in my entire life.
We are both in our early 20s (24 years old) and we 've both promised each other a lot, we plan on seeing for the first time in Nigeria very soon but after last night's conversation, I actually don't feel the same way I felt for her when we started talking.
She confessed to have been with 8 guys after I asked her how many guys she's dated in the past, then she said 9 and later 10 and said she has lost count of how many times she's had sexx. And oh I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend yet though but last night I was about to and after hearing all of her confessions I had to go offline and she's been begging me for forgiveness but I've been ignoring her.
I'm confused and I don't know what to do. I'm deeply in love with her and I see a future with her as well but her past disgusts me so much and I don't feel sexx with her would be something special when we finally decide to get married in the future. Should I continue to lead her on till when I get a green card and just ditch her afterwards or should I just cut ties with her now that I have the opportunity to?
Ps: She's based in America while I'm in Nigeria and for those that would say I'm not a saint, oh well I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I'm still a virgin and haven't had sex in my entire life. I'm not saying she should be a virgin but I feel like 10 guys in the past is a bit on the high side. Please NL members, I need advice on what to do. Thank you in advance.
Update: I've been reading all of the comments and I appreciate everyone of you that took out time to advice me on what to do.
First I'd like to say that my intentions of talking to her was pure and genuine. I wasn't thinking of using her to get a green card. And second I didn't say I was looking for a virgin but it's all good now.
I actually did followed my heart like most persons here suggested and we are both cool now. We hope to see where this leads us in the future. Thank you again. If you're a virgin, look for a virgin in the age range of 18-20 to date. You have seen a girl who is sincere and open to you, you're here ranting. Would you appreciate if she told you that she is a virgin, only for you to find out the truth after commitment? I dated different women for about 10 years, before getting married 10 years ago, I can tell you that such open and sincere girls are rare, and they are always faithful and honest. Dey there dey count body!! |

Sad!!!
Are only African parents witches/wizards? This issue has wreck my home. In my case, my wife and her family say that I am the witch. She was so bold enough to confront me. She said she was told by a prophet 8 years ago before joining me in the Westernworld. She has not seen any proof yet, but only brought it after some disagreements.
Why are most wives this superstitious?? |

AnthonyAk: How long do u age ur wines? It depends on the kind of fruits used. There are wines that won't benefit from any aging, such meads (honey wines). But most reds do well with age. The minimum is 6 months. But I have 2.5 years that is yet to be tasted. I also have some that I am targeting 10 - 20 years, but these are special. |

Its just we dont seem to invest in anything but beer Even the beer, we are not innovative about it. Well, for wine, we can make wines from tonnes of other stuffs. Sadly, our people won't patronize Nigerian wines. I am presently making delicious wines from honey, zobo, pineapple, mango, banana, grapefruit, and other tropical fruits. |
