I am having same problem. My brother hurt me and betrayed my trust. I spoke in anger to him on phone and ended the call on him. But for peace sake, I apologized for shouting on him and ending the call. But he refused to apologize for what he did. Even though I apologized, I am still mad at him.
People who don't care about your feelings don't apologize when they hurt you. So, apologize and move on.

Your hubby is seriously depressed already. If you want to leave him, try and bring him out of depression before you cause him to commit suicide. Sadly, prayers alone may not cure depression. I don't know if this particular story is fake or not, but I am currently going through something similar. The wife believes and obeys the brother more than me. Some people don't understand the concept of marriage before rushing into one!

The problem I see, and which you have failed to mention, is adulteration of cultures. When growing up, we are raised with the notion of obeying our parents. In turn, our parents take care of our well being, training/education, till we come to a point of seeking marriage. In short, we are our parents investment in most cases. In a traditional African setting, a wife coming into such a family is supposed to be absorbed into the family. The wife becomes a daughter in such a family, following family norms, traditions, and hierarchies.

The came the adopted western culture. Because of education, most men and women don't really want to subscribe to the African model of family. Most wives follow the western model of Nuclear family (husband, wife and kid), and want little or nothing to do with parents inlaws. This is where most conflicts starts. Our inability to integrate the different cultures properly, or understanding the bases of the different cultures, before knowing how to integrate them.
In the western culture, the man and woman are independent of their parents from 18years. Their University education is self sponsored by working part time or taking student loans. Elementary school through High school is free in most cases. So, the parents make minimal contributions to their training, and therefore have little or no expectations. In such a model, the man and his wife don't necessarily owe their parents anything, except occasional visits.

In my opinion, this cultural clashes are the major causes of the MIL - DIL issues in some families.

My son is in the habit of joining us in bed once he wakes at night (mostly 1 - 3 am). If he is on our bed when we are on "fire", we use the parlour. After, we go back to our bedroom.

Also, why is the OP not involved in training his older child to sleep on her bed? 8yrs is too much to still be sleeping on mommy's bed when there is another bed for her.

Regarding your rant about married couples feeling entitled about sex, while I don't support sex in the public or disturbing others with sexual escapades, marriage is for sex. Legally, religiously and culturally, any marriage where there is no sex between the couples after 48hrs is regarded as null and void. Why so, if sex was for procreation alone? Dating, alias boyfriend-girlfriend is supposed to be for learning each other, and finding reasons to marry or otherwise. Comparing sexual life of marriage couples to that of dating couples is comparing apples to oranges.

What the guy did was improper, but not a crime. And it didn't translate to making married people entitled!

It is not like the mom and dad are alive and healthy, yet the want you to help them. A 2 year old kid doesn't eat much. If you are too worried, your parents inlaws can provide clothing and diapers(if required).

My parents took in many cousins of mine whose parents were divorced, dead or critically ill. They were not rich,but God blessed them.

A doctor can order for any test to help him/her diagnose and treat the patient properly. But, sadly, in Nigeria the patient pays for every test. Otherwise, the patient consent is only required for certain procedures, mostly invasive ones, not routine tests like PT, basic blood analysis.
