Lol. I was shock when i wanted to order wooden spoon and grater from konga. Shipping fee was N3500 something I bought for N4500 the price of the thing even increases from the last time i wanted to buy it all in the name of subsidy removal. Shipping fee use to be N800-M600.

I bought another small thing N2500 shipping fee was N2000 i shock. Nigeria to Nigeria shipping fee is 85% of what I bought online.

OP just forget that money, the same thing happened to me with Wema bank about 2 months ago. I went to the fuel station to get fuel and used my card to pay, it was declined but i was debited 4200, i was given the POS slip with declined boldly written on it, just in case i need it, so we tried another POS and this one went through. I sent a mail to Wema customer care about it and they replied after a whooping 27 days saying the transaction was successful. Thank God i had the transaction slip showing declined, so i snapped and mailed it back to them, it took another 3 weeks for them to reply, saying the transaction was successful and i should go back to the fuel station and ask for the money. Something that was almost clocking 2 months already, they wont even remember me, moreover, it was not even close to my house, it was just a roadside station far from me. I mailed them back saying i want a chargeback and they were telling me there was nothing they could do. These banks are thieves now. As for that wema bank, since that day, they have not seen my 1 naira in their bank again.

This country is useless, i thought all failed debit was supposed to be settled with our banks? so what exactly is our business with POS agents? These people are being dubiouse. So if i am traveling to Enugu and all this happened while on transit, does that mean i should travel back to the state to ask for my money?

Just a few minutes ago, I was walking down the street to get bread for breakfast, on my way back, I met one guy in the former area I moved from about 3 years ago. He told me he actually came to see a friend of his whom I know, just to come and have breakfast as that is where he comes once in a while to eat, but the guy was not home, so he decided to take a walk when he met me. I felt sorry for him, he started asking if I had even if it was raw rice or garri at home, so I can give him, that was when I knew it was serious.

I just took him home, gave him the rice babe prepared the previous night for us, and after he was done, I had about 1 paint of garri that I bought about 2 months ago. I am not a big fan of garri, either drinking or eating, so I rarely touched the garri. I packaged it for him, and got a few cups of rice for him. He said he had stew at home already. I also had to part with 3k to support his fare back to work.

The naira slumped further to the dollar after closing at 770.38/$ at the end of trading on the investor & exporter forex window on Monday.

According to figures obtained from the FMDQ on Monday, the trading rates had closed at N686.96/$ on Friday.


Trading opened at N703.50/$ and hit a high of N799/$ before closing at N770.38/$.

The I& E forex window recorded a total turnover of $78.03m at the close of trading on Monday.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, last week directed Deposit Money Banks to remove the rate cap on the naira at the I&E window to allow for a free float of the national currency against the dollar and other global currencies.

The banking regulator explained its new forex operation in its report on ‘Understanding the operational changes to the foreign exchange market’.

By collapsing all segments in the FX market into the I&E window, it said this meant all eligible FX transactions in the market would only be done via the I&E window, as all other windows ceased to exist.

The I&E market functions by a willing buyer, willing seller system, where an entity with demand for FX seeks out another entity with FX to sell at an agreed price through an authorised dealer,” the CBN stated.

On the concept of the willing buyer and willing seller model, it explained that the rates were mutually agreed by both parties.

The CBN said PTA, BTA and other invisible transactions would continue to be accessed through the banks at the prevailing market rate.

Good evening boss, it lasts me basically for the whole day, especially when the sun is out, it doesn't really discharge much cos I don't use too much appliances on it if it isn't full.
