I am in a dilemma now. I need your help with advice. Some months ago, I met a lady here. She's Italian. In April, we started dating. The problem is that I have always had the intention to come back to Nigeria to marry. Like come back to marry a yoruba girl like me. But this girl is Italian. And she told me she wants to settle down. Specifically, she wants to settled down with me. She's young. Not those old mama Nigerians marry for papers. I did not really bother about her settling down goal. In my mind, we will just date and rest later. But her character is giving me confusion. She's a real lady.

See what happened recently that busted my brain. There's this 5 star hotel she always wished to go and relax. I had a good week. Sold 2 cars. So I decided to give her a threat. I told her I will take her there last Friday. She accepted. We lodged on Friday together. The hotel was dope. On Saturday, time to checkout, I told her that I budgeted for just one night. We should be going. She said no she wants to stay till Monday. I said I didn't budget for 3 nights till Monday. Just for Friday night. She said I should not worry. She called reception and paid for 2 more nights. Since Saturday till now, we are still at the hotel. She has being attending to the bills.

I think you get the picture of her kind of person now. I am considering following her wish and settling with her. But one mind wants me to follow my initial wish of coming back home to pick a yoruba sister.

Please I need your advice. Help me with matured advice please.

If you have a good paying job in Nigeria then you are about to play the biggest gamble ever with your life and that of your kids which could either be a win or an irreparable loss.

As someone living outside the shore's of Nigeria, my experiences and challenges within the first 2 years of relocating wasn't such a bumpy ride because I did a comprehensive research of the country before I eventually made my decision to leave for good.

I had my uni-friends in the U.S that where single then and willing to accommodate me until I was able to be on my own which I will forever be grateful for.

It is tough to settle in a foriegn land as an individual let alone coming over with kids with virtually no arrangements of accommodation for a considerable time frame (1-2yrs) before you start gaining some grounds.

No amount of money you travel out of Nigeria with relocation in view as a salary earner will sustain you except if you are going on an already planned vacation.

God forbid you or any of you kids falls ill and you have no medical insurance like here in United States then you will have to pay your medical bill out of pocket with the minimum in most cases being $1500 - $2000 (writing from personal experience) which is a huge drain to your wallet which wasn't envisaged.

Relocating is always better when you are embarking on this adventure alone because there are lots of uncertainties on the way which will almost break you, then imagine exposing your kids to such uncertainties.

Sadly, 3 known close friends of mine back then in Nigeria with high paying jobs relocated with their family to the US and they are now badly broke because getting a job without SSN and a work authorization is pretty hard and it is even harder getting under the table jobs depending on the state where you relocated to.

My advice to you is this, don't gamble by quitting your job and now embark on an adventure you don't know what's on the other side.

First, go on a vacation alone, make your observations first hand and them make an informed decision based on the informations and knowledge gathered during your solo visit.

The first rail station was opened in Nigeria in 1898 by the British for transportation of people and large goods, fast forward to 120 years later, we are unable to boost of the same transpotatiom system that has been in existance for more than 200 years for the same purpose, I believe there is a fundamental issue with the black race.

well, It started like this. I met this girl on FB and we had a good chat together where I propose to her to be my girl which she accepted.
so on the long run, I told her to come n pay me a visit which she accepted and I sent her the tfare but to my surprise this lady didn't actually leave her room and was lying to me that she was on her way.
Meanwhile, I form a call with her with another number talking to her as her male friend on campus which she fall for immediately.
Now she has given me her house address to pay her a visit thinking that I am her school friend.

pls what do I need to do cos I really want to teach this slay Queens like this a bitter lesson?

Countless.he not taking care of us.been selfish.no food at home yet he will Dodge and go and buy food in buca.he never admits having money.when we go to the buca to buy food on credit we see him there.him eating the skl fees momsi gave him to pay for me.abandoning me or forgetting to pick me up in school many times.prefers outsideers to us.he has even abandoned me in a hospital when i was 5.if we are celebrating he will wear rag.but if his church has an ocassion he will sew a new cloth.men countless.hurts I swear.hurtsss.am crying writing this.70+ and still same.above he does not wish us well but God pass any man.have learnt to live like he does not exist.but it's hard.....
