Exciton: It isn't about poverty. It's about human behavior dominated by greed in the absence of laws [or its enforcement] necessary to keep a group of people civil. People are naturally greedy. It's a hardwired evolutionary trait, among many others, we all have for survival. But when it comes to groups, such traits harm cooperation. It's why societies need laws and systems in place to minimize such for a more coherent group and to increase the group's chance of survival.
People in developed countries aren't better than us, it's not intrinsic. It's the same thing you see in post-apocalyptic movies -- with crumbled civilization or societies with no/failed governments. High crime rates, poverty, inequality, injustice etc... exactly like us! It's just a failure of the government.
All that you see at MMA are symptoms of a failed system that we run in Nigeria. Apt! |

Not everything you copy on the internet is applicable everywhere. You better not hit anyone in Nigeria. If you do, you are in deep shit because you must have psychological or physical injury.
Just don't run on moral grounds and be ready to experience the worst. Take injured victims to the hospital immediately. Avoid police case by all means except when a death has occurred. May we not be in an accident. |

AmandaLuv: exactly my opinion sir. I scanned the vehicle recently but it never detected any exhaust problem. I intend to get a second/third/fourth opinion. Thank u sir Exhaust leak, especially if minor, is not likely to throw a code. The test the panelbeater carried out is effective. I just think he's trying to rip you off your money by asking for a complete exhaust change when a simple weld will work. You are welcome ma. |

Car Talk › Re: Hello by cyborg123(m): 11:01am On Aug 17, 2017 |
Changing exhaust is an expensive action that should only be recommended if the exhaust pipe has multiple leaks at places that can't be welded to give a good solution to the problem and it's very rare. I don't think you are at this stage yet.
Get a second opinion from another panelbeater that knows his job well. |

I find it very hard to answer this question because I have discovered that maintenance is everything. Preventive and corrective maintenance defines anyone's experience with any car that passes inspection tests before leaving the factory. |
